Chapter 2- Return
Disclaimer: I don’t own Inuyasha, but if you wanna sell him, I would be happy to take him.
Summary: After a fight, Kagome and Inuyasha go their separate ways. While Inuyasha is cooling down, a mysterious girl appears and tells him he must mate before the Harvest Moon.

“Mate with my intended before the harvest moon?!” Inuyasha echoed, a look of shock plastered on his face by the woman’s statement.
“Hai” the girl answered. “If you do not heed my warning, the world you know it to be will cease to exist, powerful forces are coming hanyou”. Inuyasha stared at the young woman still holding his stomach even though the pain had subsided.
“And what’s that got ta’ do with me!” he shouted causing birds to fly away scared from the noise.
The woman turned so quickly that Inuyasha thought she would get whiplash “It has everything to do with you. Without you and your intended the dark forces will kill everyone you know and love, do you want to live with the fact knowing that you knew you could help prevent what is to happen?”
Inuyasha looked down, his bangs hiding the emotion in his eyes. ‘Kagome’
“Do you?” Still he stayed silent. "Plus if you do not, your life will be destroyed as well" The woman reached behind her and drew her sword from the sheath that was strapped to her back, hidden by her long tresses. She closed her eyes and sighed in annoyance. “With the time you waste, things will only continue to get worse, things you never thought possible will happen and the darkness within others will present itself, you must be prepared”.
Her eyes shot open, blazing with a strange calm as she shot forward intending to tackle him from behind, but as she raised her sword to slash him, he moved at the last second. “Hmmm. Hanyou, you’re not as weak as I originally thought, perhaps now you have my answer?” she calmly stated.
“No” he finally spoke, his voice monotone. “I will do it…who is my intended”
The woman sighed heavily as she sheathed her sword “It’s not that simple, I can’t tell you who it is”.
Inuyasha’s head jerked up “What!?” he snapped. “What the hell do you mean, ‘you can’t tell me!?”
“Just as it was said, I cannot tell you” she replied.
“And why the fuck not?!”
“Because I have little recollection of your intended, with each step you get closer to your intended, a portion of my memory returns to me” she responded. “So you need me and I need you”.
Inuyasha looked doubtful for a second, he didn’t really trust her, but then again he really didn’t have a choice in the matter.
“Your scent tells me that you are doubtful of me, you are debating whether or not to trust me, ne?”
Inuyasha looked shocked for a moment, but quickly covered it with anger. “What are you, a mind reader or something?” he snapped. She chose not to answer that question.
“The sun is returning to its place in the sky” Inuyasha looked beyond the horizon and surely enough the sun was beginning to rise. “I must go”.
“What you haven’t helped me at all, how in the hell am I suppose to find this ‘intended’ person?” She walked over to him and took his chin in her hand. Inuyasha glared at her and struggled, but her death grip wouldn’t give.
“Follow your instinct, it will tell you. I will return in seven nights, so for now go and find your intended” she whispered, their faces inches away from each other. Inuyasha closed his eyes as he waited for something, but that something never came.
Opening his eyes he saw that the mysterious girl had disappeared and the sun had fully rose into the sky. Walking to get his sword, Inuyasha somehow felt different. He looked at his feet, legs, hands and arms, then finally his chest.
‘The rosary, that girl she took it’ he thought. Picking up Tetsusaiga, he put it in its sheath and began walking towards the village, not noticing the pair of eyes watching the little confrontation from the shadows.
********************Meanwhile**************************
Whirls of purple miasma swirled around in the once clean air, in the vast wasteland covered with the bodies of dead soldiers and bandits who had come to kill the lord within, servants who had once served him and then there was the lord himself…
“My lord, the hanyou has been informed by what is to happen” the said man looked at the woman. She had long black hair with cold brown eyes and her skin was pale as a ghost.
“Hmmm…this will not appose a problem to us, we shall see if his intended accepts him or not” The young woman glanced at him through her bangs, that shadowed her head due to her bowing.
“But if…” Jet-black hair pulled into a high ponytail swung as the lord turned angry crimson eyes on the young woman. “You dare to question me?” his voice carried death to anyone who dared to question him.
“No my lord I was merely suggesting that if the intended does accept him, what shall we do?” The lord chuckled and said as if it was the simplest thing to do.
“We’ll kill them before rain comes”

‘If you can’t be with me in my time, then no, I won’t be with you!’ Inuyasha shook his head. ‘Why am I still thinking about that?’ he wondered.
‘Because you know even after you gave her your heart she still rejected it’
‘And your point is…’
‘That you still love her’
‘I do not, that bitch can rot in hell for all I care’
‘Sure, whatever. But deep down you know you want her to be your intended’
Inuyasha growled ‘Is there anything you practically wanted?’
‘No just wanted to annoy you. Hey! What if its Kikyo?’
‘…’
‘Or what if it’s the Demon Slayer, that Monk will be offly sore at ‘cha’
‘Go away’
‘Or what if it’s that girl, like two huts down from us, she does have a nice ass’
Inuyasha growled as vein appeared on his forehead ‘Go away…’
‘Or Kaede’
“Shut-up would ‘ja!!!!!” Inuyasha snapped aloud. “Gomen, I had no idea I was talking to much” spoke Sango, surprised at the hanyou’ outburst. Inuyasha blinked, he had totally forgotten Sango was talking to him about going to her village for a couple of days.
“Hey Sango, I didn’t mea-” he started scratching the back of his neck nervously; man he wasn’t good with words.
“Its okay Inuyasha, you probably have a lot on your mind, especially since Naraku still out there and Kagome not coming back for another three days”.
“Huh?” he said confused. ‘Oh yeah they don’t know’
“I’ll be back in a week” Sango called as she climbed onto Kirara and flew off. Inuyasha waved her off, then turned to walk throughout the village.
‘Hmmmm… wonder where the lecher is?’ he thought.
*Smack* *Thump*
Well that answered his question…
It wasn’t long until Inuyasha found himself in the clearing of The Bone Eater’s Well. ‘Should I go or give her time to calm down’.
‘I say you should go and get your intended’
‘How are you sure that its Kagome?’
‘I’m not, but you’re desperate, so why not take advantage of a desperate situation’
“I’m getting as bad as Miroku” he mumbled to himself.
With little or no help from himself, Inuyasha jumped into the well, not aware of the ice- blue eyes watching as he disappeared into the mysterious object.

Now personally I think Inuyasha was wrong going back to Kagome, but there is a major reason that he did, which! we will find out in the next chapter.
I think I could have done a little better on this chapter, but when I was writing this my six-year old nephew was over here and was bugging me to death, so...
