"She'll be up here soon with the medicine." he lifted Kagome up so she was sitting and he put her pajama shirt on, attempting to button it up, "I can do this, you get dressed." she smiled and he nodded, quickly grabbing his pants and slipping them on, only managing to get his white shirt tucked in and look decent before her mother walked in, "Oh, how are you doing Kagome?" she asked as she brought over the medicine. "I'm fine mom." she said as she got into bed, "What were you two doing?" Kagome looked to InuYasha and smiled, "He was helping me keep warm." Kagome's mother looked at her awkwardly, "By not being in bed?"

InuYasha bit his lip and nodded, "I was giving her my Haori." he said as he handed Kagome his haori, "Its enough for her to keep warm, and with the blanket she shouldn't have a problem.." Kagome's mother smiled and gave Kagome her medicine, "Well take care of her InuYasha, I'll be back in a bit to give you more medicine Kagome." with that she closed the door. Kagome slumped back in her bed and curled up hugging a spare pillow. She didn't know if what just happened mean't anything to InuYasha or not, same thoughts he was thinking too..

'Did what happen, really happen? Did it mean anything to him..? Or was it just something we both needed..' she felt tears well up in her eyes and she bit back sobs. He knew she was crying, he didn't know what to do. Did she think of him as some sort of sex slave? No, thats not Kagome's way. "You better get well Kagome.." he said as he sat on the end of the bed, "But take your time."

And the power came back.
