The Temple


The girls settled themselves in during the next week. Kagome got set up in a room with Rin and Shizuru of all people. Two days after arriving Yusuke made a call to Kuzuma and they both stopped by. The older girl decided to hang around to liven things up. They took an instant liking to the woman. They hadn't seen much of the men while getting settled in.

Yukina was there also, explaining Kuwabara and Hiei's presence. All five girl's were sitting at the table playing cards when Genkai came in. She walked past the five and stepped up to the table, looking directly at Rin. "Do you always smile like that?"

"Yes," She gave the older woman a big grin. Some time ago she'd stopped wearing her hair in a side bow. Ayame had told her she looked prettier with it hanging freely. After that day when her Lord gave her something to drink she'd stopped aging. She'd only been in her sixteenth summer.

"Come on Genkai, there's always a reason to be happy." Keiko said. Especially now, because she was going to win this hand.

"Not all of us got laid last night Keiko." Shizuru said.

"What's laid?" This came from Yukina.

"It means when two people do it," Rin said smiling.

"Do what?" The ice apparition was confused.

"We won't go there, now who's turn is it?" Kagome decided it was time to change the subject.

"Figures my brother is still playing the gentleman." Shizuru lit a cigarette. Of course it has been years for her, years since she's dated someone.

"Well I've never done it but when My Lord and Lady Ayame do it, they get really loud. She gets especially loud, sometimes I wonder if he's hurting her. But the next day she seems fine and she has a big smile on her face. Ayame told me I'll need my mate to show me what it entails but I can't get a mate with Lord Sesshoumaru around." Rin remembered the one time a youkai came to visit, he'd been a cat youkai. He'd asked Sesshoumaru's permission to court her, he'd attacked the poor man.

"Why would she scream? Do you scream Keiko?" Yukina looked at the brunette who was blushing.

"Only when Yusuke is hitting the right spot." Shizuru felt the kick under the table. Genkai walked off laughing, oh to be young again.

"Lets please leave my sex life out of the conversation." Keiko drew another card, it wasn't the one she needed. "Besides ask Kagome."

"Why me?" The miko asked. "I'm sure you've done it more than me. I think you've gotten it more than me just this week than I have my entire life. And I'm dating two men."

"Who would have thought Yusuke would have a high sex drive? Might have something to do with his fast tongue. He's always quick to use it." Shizuru stood up before Keiko could kick her. "I'm grabbing a beer, anyone else want one?"

Yukina raised her hand along with Keiko. The door burst open, Yusuke, Kouga, Hiei and Kuwabara walked in dripping wet. "Better dry off or Genkai will be pissed, if you wet her floors." Shizuru walked back to the table.

"Yeah yeah, the old hag can get over it." Yusuke took his shoes off and walked on in. The others were considerate enough to attempt at drying themselves. Genkai came out to walk behind Yusuke, who'd planted himself down on the couch. Her hand came up to slap him in the back of the head.

"Get off my couch wet, go dry off dimwit."

"Fine, grumpy old hag." Hiei threw him a towel.

"My turn," Rin picked up a card. It was the one she needed, she placed her hand down. "I win."

The others groaned at losing to her once more. "You cheating over there Rin?" Kagome leaned over looking her over. "You got cards stashed somewhere?"

"Nope, no need to cheat. I got talent." She started giggling.

"You sure Rin didn't get laid last night?" Yukina asked.

Keiko spit her beer out, getting it all over Shizuru. She started choking as she laughed.

"Well, she's always so happy and since Shizuru says it makes you happy I just figured maybe she gets laid too." Yukina tried to explain her train of thought.

Kagome had her head down on the table laughing hysterically.

"I didn't get laid. I've never been laid Yukina. Rin is just happy." The girl said as if it explained her sunny disposition. "Though I agree with Shizuru, Kagome was extremely happy the day after she got laid. So it must really make one happy."

"What the hell are you girls talking about?" Kuwabara strode up to the table. "Don't be putting any thoughts in Yukina's head."

"Why? Because you aren't man enough to put em there yourself bro?"

A growl was heard from the couch. "I'm a gentleman, I don't discuss such things."

"Yeah and thats why you'll die a virgin. You know your hand doesn't count." Shizuru was wiping the remaing beer off her.

"Sorry Shizuru, was an accident." Keiko felt Yusuke's eyes on her.

"No prob, get away Kuzuma, if you aren't female you aren't invited to partake in this chat."

"Yeah, no boys allowed." Rin chanted.

"What about men, are they allowed?" Kagome asked.

"Yeah, we'll be sure to invite them when they arrive." Shizuru felt several eyes boring into her back. "Who's turn is it to deal?"

"Oh, mine." Keiko went for the cards. "No more talk Yusuke is already glaring at me." She began to shuffle the deck.

"If he gets too pissy, just threaten him with restriction from it, he'll settle down." Shizuru snorted at the foul language coming from the couch.

"Does that work?" Yukina was curious, being an ice apparation she wasn't too familiar with the whole mating concept. "How can you threaten them with it?"

"Depends on the man but from what I hear coming out that room, I'd say it would work with Yusuke." Kagome had to put her two cents in. She'd thought Kurama and Kuronue were bad.

"Not always, I remember the one time Ayame told Sesshoumaru he wasn't getting any for a month. He ordered me out the room and to shut the door. I think that was the loudest I've ever heard her scream." Rin picked up her five cards.

"How old are you Rin?" Keiko asked.

"I think about five hundred and ten years." She tried counting, but gave up.

"You gotta be fucking kidding me, you're human." Shizuru couldn't sense anything coming from her.

"Yes, but my lord gave me something to drink. He said it would make sure I would never leave him."

"It's true, I met Rin as a little girl over five hundred years ago." Kagome drew a card. "Shit, this hand sucks."

Yukina saw the way Yusuke was glaring at Keiko, "Keiko, Yusuke looks mad. Will he lay you tonight?"

The detective shot to his feet. "Dammit, it's no one's business. Someone please explain to her what the hell she's talking about, then maybe she won't be so interested. Kuwabara's she's your girlfriend."

"What!" This came from Hiei.

"Guess you ain't getting any Keiko," Kagome muttered under her breath.

Shizuru cracked up laughing. Keiko glared at her, "Neither will any of you, so there!" It still didn't stop the laughter. "Oh, kiss my ass both of you."

"Now she's swearing, see what you did Kagome." Shizuru tried lighting another cigarette but Keiko yanked it from her. "Give that back, I don't go snatching things out your mouth. If I did I think Yusuke would be upset."

"No, you didn't just go there." Kagome fell over laughing.

"You actually put it in your mouth Keiko?" Rin asked. She'd never done it herself but Ayame tried explaining the basics to her.

"What does she put in her mouth? Whats so funny?" Yukina looked to Rin for answers. The girl had a strange look on her face. "Come on, someone tell me so I can laugh too."

"Thats enough, you are corrupting my innocent Yukina's ears with that trash." Kuwabara called out.

"How is it trash? Just because you wanna die before getting any." Shizuru gave him the finger when he called her a tart. "Say what you want, there's nothing wrong with going down."

"SIS!"

"Hmph, that depends on the woman." Kouga had his arms and legs crossed sitting on the couch.

"Well, some people are picky. Not all men go tasting every woman like its an open buffet." Shizuru stated. She didn't care for the wolf demon. He had a chip on his shoulder and it showed.

"Alright, please can we get back to the game." Keiko just knew Yusuke was going to bitch later. "Rin its your turn."

"Okay," She picked up a card and looked in her hand. She placed it down. "I win."
