A/N: Here my readers, is the second chapter to this story nothing much to say but thanks to yoyo who was my first and only reviewer. Thank you a million times over for the review and here is the new chapter you wanted. Oh and just to warn you I got tired of typing out Inuyasha’s name so when you see Inu that’s short for his name but when you see inu that’s like saying dog demon. Did that make sense? This is not beta read and I apologize. Okay well on to the story.

Part1: Love Found, Love Lost
Chapter 2: Near Death Experiences

“Coward, you would attack a defenseless human. It’s me you want to fight.” Inu yelled at the demon irately.
“As you wish, hanyou,” said the demon with a nod of agreement.
“But tell your friends to back off. If they try anything heroic, I will kill them,” Rinjatsu threatened.

“You heard him guys; back off,” Inu said to the group.
“Inuyasha are you sure about this?” Miroku questioned skeptically.

“You worry too much monk. I can handle this bastard,” Inuyasha said confidently.
The group no longer questioned the hanyou they just silently backed off but each held their weapon at the ready just in case he got himself in too deep. Not a second after the other members of the group stepped back did the battle of Inuyasha and Rinjatsu begin. Inuyasha leapt at the demon bringing down Tetsusaiga in one big swoop. Rinjatsu simply darted out of the way appearing behind the hanyou and tried to grab Inuyasha in his claw like fingers but succeeding in only scraping his back as he swiftly dodged the rather large hand.

“Damn,” Inuyasha cursed as he realized he had severely underestimated the large demon, Rinjatsu.
The demon was a lot faster and he definitely knew what he was doing in a battle but that was okay because Inuyasha could take him; he could take anyone. Inuyasha turned around to face the youkai ignoring the pain of the lacerations that were on his back. He stood there for a second as the demon raced toward him, trying to find the wind scar. As soon as he found it he cut through it.

“Wind Scar!” Inuyasha yelled bringing Tetsusaiga down in front of him.
Big yellow lighting like streaks flew from the sword etching into the ground four huge gashes in the earth, speeding towards the demon. The attack hit the youkai with incredible accuracy but it did not have the intended result of tearing him to pieces but it still looked as though the demon was out for good.

“Ha, I told ya monk that I could do this on my own,” the hanyou said haughtily turning around to face the smiles of the satisfied group.
“You were right Inu-,” Miroku was saying but then stopped mid sentence as he watched the youkai raise himself from the ground slowly.
“What is it monk?” Inuyasha asked annoyed.

“This is far from over hanyou,” Rinjatsu said in a deadly voice.
“What the…?” Inu said slowly turning around towards the larger demon.

“No more playing around, now you die,” Rinjatsu said right before he charged Inu.
Inuyasha was in no way ready for the incredible speed at which the demon came at him but he be damned before he got beat by that scum. He was pierced through the shoulder by one of Rinjatsu’s long nails, like a skewer. This momentarily shocked Inuyasha but he leapt backwards to get his flesh off the claw. It was too late though because now his arm was useless, the nail had gone through his muscle and it was slowly leaking his precious life fluid by the second.

That was the last straw the group just had to step in. Sango threw Harikatsu at the demon aiming for his long claws. The giant boomerang was like a buzz saw it cut three of the offending nails on his left hand then returning to its owner who caught it deftly. Miroku was soon after the demon slayer to attack as he threw some wards at the demon and chanting a few choice words. The little pieces of paper started to sizzle where they were placed but they did little but annoy the large demon. Then it was Kagome’s turn to notch an arrow and watch as it flew at the demon and hit him in the arm. It seemed to be purifying him but then he pulled it out quickly. This is all happening while Inuyasha tries to fight the demon while holding Tetsusaiga with one hand.

“I told your little friends not to interfere and now they must be punished,” Rinjatsu said with an evil glint in his eye.

He aimed a hand at the hanyou and slapped him hard so that he went slamming into a nearby tree, breaking a few ribs in the process. A loud voice then bellowed, “Devil’s Roar”. A large green energy ball shot from Rinjatsu’s mouth to the group who were all standing together. At the last second Miroku erected a barrier as the attack hurled toward them being saved from the brunt force of the energy. They were nevertheless all blasted into the forest, all of them hitting a tree and being knocked cold.

“You fucking bastard, you will pay for what you have done to my friends,” Inuyasha hollered furiously.
He attacked the demon with fury running through his veins pushing the demon away from his unconscious possibly dead friends, ignoring his injuries.
‘I will come back for you,’ Inuyasha thought to his friends.

The demon was mildly surprised that the hanyou was alive let alone able to fight with such intensity but it was nothing that could rival his strength. When he grew tired of Inuyasha’s weak attacks he steadied his feet on the ground and stood still while the half demon stood across from him looking winded, angry and confused.

“I tire of your pitiful attacks hanyou now you will die,” Rinjatsu said in a calm and bored manner.

“Devil’s Roar!!” He yelled loudly sending the energy ball toward the half demon.
Inuyasha realized it was too late by the time the demon opened his mouth. He saw the large energy ball coming for him and he reached for Tetsusaiga’s sheath but it was damaged from battle and it would be little help from the large attack that flew toward him. He held out the damaged article in front of him just as the energy hit him pushing until the shield that the sheath was creating broke and it hit Inuyasha in a brilliant splash of blinding light.

He thought he was dead as he felt the pain from the explosion hitting him with such force but his eyes fluttered opened to see the demon start to chortle at his defeat. Inuyasha made to push himself up in a sitting position at the least but his arms and ribs seemed to protest the movement and he instantly was back on the forest floor willing himself not to groan in pain.

“Not dead yet little man well I’ll take care of that,” said Rinjatsu amusedly with a chuckle.

The large demon walked over to Inuyasha taking his time and when he reached him raised his right arm ready to strike the hanyou when there was a green flash like lighting and the demons movement stopped abruptly. His head slowly slipped from the place on his neck and fell to the forest ground with a thump, blood squirting from the cut veins. The body soon joined the head on the ground crashing with a loud thud.

Inuyasha was shocked but he couldn’t show it because of the pain and blood loss, it was just to great, it was all overwhelming and he knew that if he didn’t get help soon he would die and never get to go back to his friends and see if they were okay. None of that really mattered to him after a few seconds because all he wanted to do was sleep he was just so tired.
His vision was going blurry and he saw a tall figure walking towards him but in his position, lying on the forest floor anyone would look tall. The being seemed to glow with its own ethereal light as it came closer sort of like an angel but he could make nothing out from the figure because of the blurriness in his vision.

The strange glowing being picked him up gently and held him bridal style close to their chest as if it wanted to make sure he would never get away. Inuyasha involuntarily groaned in pain despite the stranger’s gentleness. He snuggled his head in closer to the person, even if he didn’t know them he oddly enough felt safe in their warm embrace.
“You are mine now sweet Inuyasha,” he heard the voice say just before his world went dark.
