The Hidden Angel

AN: I'm so sorry I haven't updated!!! I had, and still have, exams. God... I just wish I could burn them all. And now for the voting results:

Chapter 2 : Hidden Dream


Inuyasha layed back agianst the God tree. Why was his life so messed up? First was the freaky eye thing, then when he got back to Keade's, Kagome yelled at him for being gone for so long, sat him, then told him that he wasn't allowed into the hut. 'Why does this always happen to me?' he thought
Sighing, he stood up and jumped across the tree tops. Inuyasha was always at peace when he did this, it was like he was the only one alive, swimming over a sea of green. It reminded him of his mother. She would sit him on her knee and tell him stories of the ocean and the waves. Inuyasha could remember his favorate story. She only told him it once, but it always was in his mind, resting until he needed comfort.
* Flashback *
" Inuyasha," called his mother " Are you ready for your goodnight story?"
" Yes mommy." Inuyasha repiled (1)
" Tonight I shall tell you the story of the angels and demons." She said
" Once upon a time, there was an angel who's only wish was that she could see the ocean. But her father, God, forbade it. ' You are not ready for the pain and suffering that mortals inflict' he said
But the angel was head strong, and followed not what her father said. So she went to heaven's gate, and begged to the Gate keeper, ' Please let me through' she asked And the gate keeper let her, for she was the purest daughter of God.
Once the gate opened, she spread her wings and flew down to earth. When she got there she was overwhelmed by the grief and pain, so much that her wings and halo dissapeared. So she wandered the world in search of the ocean that she so much wanted to see, so much that she cared not for her lost wings, for if she got to see the ocean she would be happy. She travled for 15 years over river and through woods, just to find it. She never did find the ocean, but she found something much better..."

" What was that, mommy?" asked Inuyasha
" It was love," she had said." She found love with someone angels were supposed to hate. She found love with a demon. So it came to pass that the angel found she was with child, and she was so happy. But on the night of his birth, the gate of heaven opened, and down came the oracale of God, and he said ' The blood and flesh of demon and angel, shall rid this world of the evil that threaten's us . But he can do it not, with out the help of the wolf.The blood and flesh of demon and angel...'
And with this the oracale retured to heaven. The demon and angel agreed not to let anyone know the prohcey of thier new born son, until he had inherited his blood, both demon and angel. So they live to this day in the castle of life, hidden in the mountains."
" Like shessy?" Inqiuered Inuyasha
" Iie, Inuyasha. not like Shessomaru- sama. Now off to bed with you."
" Night mommy, I love you."
" I love you too Inuyasha."
* End Flash back*

By now Inuyasha was far into his forest, lost in his memories. Suddenly a sharp pain hit his chest, causing him to falter, and fall. Inuyasha crashed into the ground, but was not able to get up for the pain had started to spread through his body. The pain sharpened, and letting out a howl of pain, Inuyasha let the sweet darkness carry him away...


AN: How was it? I hope it was good... Oh and to a reviewer, yes there will be LOTS of Kagome bashing in this fic.
