Description:Sango finds out that planes and demons have not quite a good affect at each other!
Chapter two
A Peaceful new world?
The hot sun was shining down on a dark haired woman who walked across the street almost in slow motion.
She was deep in thought about this strange world and the changes she had undergone in the last two years.
Would Miroku even recognize her if he could see her now? Sango doubted it, her hair was longer now, it ended right under her backside, and her slayer outfit had been exchanged for an elegant skirt and a long sleeved shirt, and her frame had become more elegant over the past two years.
She was currently working as a bodyguard for some rich people who did not care who she was or where she had come from, but the job didn’t satisfy Sango. She missed her demon hunting days with the gang.
Kagura had told them a year ago that she had sensed some demons nearby. They never found them, but Kagome and the others, including her, were sure that there were some here in this era. The wonder about the fact that they had never seen one but weren’t unhappy about it really.
All of their little family was restless and struggling to find a way to fit into this era.
Kagome had finished school and taught the others the most of her knowledge. But even she wasn’t fitting into the world in which she was born any longer.
It was depressing to know that the well had closed right after their arrival.
Everyone wanted to go back, badly.
Suddenly a very long missed tingling sensation crept over her spine. Demon! Somewhere in a 5 miles radius was a demon, a very powerful one!
Sango automatically stepped to the right and crouched, avoiding being hit by a car by mere centimeters! The driver cursed at her, but the demon slayer silenced him with a single look. Sango could feel her blood boil at the thought of a demon as strong as this particular one must be. But there was something odd to her senses, he didn’t seem to move. After a few more minutes of deep thought the slayer changed her path and was on her way to this demon.
His mate would kill him for his carelessness!
How could he have hit this fucking building when he was flying that fast!
But when this plane-thing popped up into his path, the only thing he could do was to change direction and then he promptly smashed into this fu… building!!
Koenma would have killed him if he had caused the humans inside it any harm, but there was no way he could have avoided the damage. It was hit the plane-thing or fall into this human disaster called a house!
He hated to be in Ningenkai more than ever before!
He was on his way back to Makai and his mate when this happened. And as strong as he was, he had sustained a lot more damage than he thought he would. Not that the wounds would be there tomorrow, but now he was immobile and that could cost him his life!
“Dammit” he cursed under his breath; there’s someone else into this deserted building! And that someone was quickly nearing his place of doom.
His vision became more and more blurred when he forced himself into a crouched position. But what came around the corner wasn’t what he had expected to see.
The woman was slender and tall, not too much, but taller than him, which was normal, with a curvaceous body and long, long legs. But what had captured his gaze was her face and most of all, her dark brown eyes. They were beautiful!
The entire woman was screaming strength and power to his senses!
If she was death, he would gladly die again any time she wanted him to!
He knew who this beautiful woman was; he had seen a picture of her and some other people, back, when he was younger, in Makai on a heist. It was in a castle the bandits broke into. He came to steal, but left with only the painting, safely tucked under his clothes!
Later he found out that the castle was owned by a high lord of Makai who was very unhappy about the fact that someone dared to break into his castle and steal his painting!
He had not thought it would mean that much to the lord but after he knew that it did, he hid it better than before, he wasn’t going to give it up.
The scene was simple, only a few people painted in bright colours and looking to the artist, while a few of the people were painted in darker colors as if to say something about them. The majority of the group was comprised of humans but there were a few demons and hanyou.
In the middle of the picture was the one who had caught his gaze, a woman in a demon exterminator’s suit with a large boomerang had an arm around the shoulders of a younger female and was looking directly into the eyes of the onlooker.
Her calm gaze hypnotized and drew him to her, like a bee to honey
Especially to the young demon who stumbled across the picture while on his heist!
The woman beside her was beautiful as well; she was also in an exterminator’s suit and held a young Kitsune cub in her arms. But it was the jewel dangling from her neck that caught his eye. After he had seen that, the young demon knew who this people were!
These were the shard hunters from the tale of the Shikon no Tama, and now he understood why some of them where painted that darkly, they were dead. Nobody had ever found out what had happened to the rest of the group, and so the legends grew more and more. The only thing anybody knew for sure was that they had really lived and that the Jewel of Four Souls had truly existed.
He had had his first crush onto a woman he never actually met! That alone was strange enough, but he was used to longing for something he could never have. And so it was no surprise to him that he had kept this picture safely hidden in a cave only he knew about and it had given him company for more years than he could remember.
To look at it, at her, gave him peace, something he had not often found in his hard live. It was no wonder that he knew her looks completely; he had branded them into his memory!
To see the same woman now, alive and healthy, standing right in front of him was something of a shock!
How could she live in this time?!?
However it didn’t really matter to him, the only thought that came into his mind before he fainted was; “Beautiful…”
Sango had expected to find some arrogant demon scum, like she most of those she had stumbled across back in the Sengoku, but instead she found a demon who dared to look at her like she was some ghost and called her beautiful!!
This was definitely not what she had expected to find, his body was covered with blood, and a very well muscled body it was, she noted, deep in her mind, slightly irritated with herself for the thought. He was shorter then her but his body spoke of power and his youki was extremely high!
There was no single ounce fat on this perfect specimen of male demon, only well defined muscles covered by sensual skin, smooth and silky to her touch. Irritated, she drew back the hand touching him, the hand that seemed to have a mind of its own, and tried to decide what to do with him.
After she came here, Sango found out from the traces and the people around her that something had avoided barley to hit a plane!
Only to crash right into a deserted warehouse and were nowhere to be found!
This aroused her curiosity. Why would such a powerful demon, try to avoid a plane crash and instead sustain serious damage by changing his path? He would have easily survived the crash and the humans would have been dead, but this one had taken the damage and saved the humans inside the plane!
Why?
Shaking her head slightly, Sango got to her knees and looked at his injuries. She was ready to begin bandaging him up when suddenly the feeling returned to her! Sango hurried to get away and masked herself with powerful spells only a minute or so before some strange people arrived. Six people who definitely were not human!
It was odd, the female huntress thought, some of them seemed to be human some demons; one of them had the aura of a very strange hanyou aura around him, and all of them, especially the hanyou, were very powerful!
They searched for her for a few minutes, the black clothed one was especially thorough, he practically turned the interior upside down, but then they took the injured male and went to leave, concerned over his injuries, and slightly confused about not being able to find a single trace of her!
It was pointless, Miroku had taught her well!
His spells were very powerful, add some of Kagome’s miko spells into the mix and you got wards that no one could break easily even if he was ten times more powerful than them!
The red haired one looked back, right as the others turned the corner, “Thank you, whoever you are, for taking care of our friend,” he said in a low and smooth voice that could easily rival Sesshomaru’s, “I am sorry for scaring you into hiding, but be sure we will not come after you or do you any harm! Thank you again for being kind to my friend!”
With that, the red haired and green eyed fox spirit left a slightly flustered Sango alone with her thoughts
Please leave us both a comment yes?
I personally think they deserve to know that someone read their works for me and how you find it.
The same goes for Altars works for me on my other stories!
She is making herself, like Tina do it too, so much troubles for my sorry but!
