A Surprise From the Past
Here is the first chapter of the new Coyote Tricks saga. This chapter is rated NC-17 for graphic yaoi. If you haven’t read the warnings and disclaimer in the prelude chapter please do so first.
A Surprise from the Past
The hard handsome fox hanyou dropped on all fours ass in the air, tail raised presenting himself for the coyote’s pleasure. The sandy haired coyote wasted no time sliding his hard manhood into the fox’s waiting body. The fox groaned in pleasure as he pushed back onto the coyote’s hard cock. The coyote leaned over the fox’s back as he started fucking him hard and fast.
“Kit, oh Kit!”
They reached their climax together the coyote emptying his seed into the fox as the fox emptied himself onto the bed. They collapsed in a sweaty heap as the coyote took the fox into his arms and turning him around kissed him lovingly.
When they came up for air the fox stroked coyote’s cheek and looked into his eyes.
“Carl, I love you” Kit fox said.

A sound distracted Kit from the latest issue of the Coyote Dreams doujinshi. He looked up to see Toshiro giving him a look that would cause lesser mortals to burst into flame. With a smile, Kit visibly lifted the magazine back up and went back to reading. It had been 8 months since Kit had found his first issue of the yaoi doujinshi and had managed to find the earlier issue published as well as order the latest issue that had just arrived today much to Toshiro’s annoyance. The fox hanyou’s irritation of course just added to Kit’s amusement over it all.
It was not like Toshiro had anything to worry about after all, Shippo had shown no interest reading doujinshi so there was little risk of Toshiro’s father seeing them unless Kit just got careless. Not that it mattered any, just because his and Toshiro’s faces were the inspiration for the main characters didn’t mean that they were those characters. Kit and Shippo both knew that Toshiro was totally straight.
‘Not that he isn’t good looking’ Kit thought casting a glance at the fox.
He looked at the figures in the book again.
‘Hmm, I don’t think she has really captured me that well. I wonder if Ms. Yuki would like a visit from the original for comparison.’ Kit thought with a smile. ‘And maybe I can see if she lives up in life to the sex in her stories.’
Since Shippo had sat him down months ago and told him the relationship was over, Kit followed his brief moment of rejection by setting out to get acquainted with Tokyo’s single scene. He was sure he had spent the night with half the regular singles at the Red Kitsune (female and male) as well as various human clubs.
He remembered one interesting encounter with a young red haired girl he had met at the market. She was obviously responding to his flirting simply to get him to buy her an ice cream and since she was only about 15 or 16 all he really wanted in return was a kiss. But when he tried to collect it she had beat the crap out of him. What was really interesting was she did it in a style similar to Akane Tendo’s Anything Goes School. He made a note to check into that later, was it possible there was a Tendo daughter he hadn’t met?

Kit’s reverie was interrupted by the sound of the doorbell. Toshiro went down to answer the door. Kit placed the doujinshi inside another magazine on the coffee table to get it out of sight as Toshiro returned a few moments later with a red haired young man in tow.
“Hello Kurama” Kit said standing up to shake the youth’s hand. It was hard to imagine that this human teen was actually a nine tailed Kitsune that had to be close to a thousand years old. Kurama had narrowly escaped death by merging his spirit self with the unborn child of a human. By doing so the child had not developed its own human soul but when Kurama had grown strong enough to leave the body (which would result in its death) he found he had come to love his human mother too much to put her through the loss of her child. So he remained in his human body awaiting the day that she died before moving on. In the meantime he had been ‘recruited’ by Spirit World’s Lord Koenma as part of the group working with the current human Spirit Detective.
“Kit-kun, could you tell Father he has a visitor?”
“My pleasure” Kit said and went off in search of Shippo.
He found the elder Kitsune in his studio. Kit had been rather surprised to discover that Shippo was a very accomplished artist. He mostly did landscapes and portraits that were breathtakingly lifelike. He claimed to owe his skill all to Kagome’s providing him with crayons when he was a child. Although Kit felt it was a bit more to do with natural talent. Shippo was busy working on his current project. Like most of his works he refused to allow anyone to see it before it was finished.
“Shippo” Kit said “Kurama is here to see you.”
“Ok just one moment” Shippo replied as he concentrated on his current work.
Kit nodded and wandered over to the ‘special’ corner of the studio. This side of the room Shippo had reserved for portraits of the special people in his life. One side was family and friends. There were portraits of his parents; Toshiro; Mitsu and the kits Miroku and Sango; Kagome; Inuyasha; the monk Miroku and Sango the Demon Slayer as well as many others. The other wall was reserved for those who he had given his heart to, lifemates and special lovers. There were two lovely human women here; Toshiro’s mom and one other. There was also the red furred Kitsune Mitsu by herself. Kit looked at the portraits and a feeling of sadness came over him. He didn’t notice Shippo staring at him intently over the canvas.
“Alright lets go” Shippo said at last pulling the cover over his latest work.
They entered the common room and Shippo greeted Kurama.
“So” Shippo asked “what brings you to see us today?”
“This” Kurama said and produced a small silk wrapped box from seeming no where and placed it on the table. Removing the spell scroll that held the silk in place he proceeded to unwrap the small wooden box.
Kit immediately felt a strong source of spirit energy radiate from the box.
‘I’ve sensed this before’ he thought ‘but it is different somehow.’
Kurama opened the box and inside laid a small crystal splinter that glowed red to their spirit senses.
“It can’t be!” Shippo shouted jumping to his feet.
“Yes” Kurama replied calmly “it is a fragment of the Jewel of Four Souls.”
