A Savior from the Heavens

Chapter 1


Upon traveling my boarders, a strange scent reaches my delicate nose, it is the scent of lunar flowers
and sakura blossoms. It may be a strange combination of scents, but it was also ‘her’ scent, a heavenly
scent indeed, at least to this old nose. I travel my boarders in search of this scent until I reach my half-demon
half-brother’s forest, “The Forest of Inuyasha” it is called.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

“INUYASHA WHY WON’T YOU LET ME GO HOME?! WE NEED SUPPLIES AND I HAVE
A HUG TEST COMING UP!” I hear as a come closer to the owner of this lovely scent that belonged
to ‘her.’ “BECAUSE WENCH WE HAVE JEWEL SHARDS TO FIND!” I hear the obvious reply
from my half-breed brother. “I see Inuyasha, is that all you can think about after all we have gone
through?” was the reply of a young girl with raven-colored hair and gray, storm-colored eyes. If I was
not a demon I could never tell that she was holding back tears, but as a demon I could smell the salt
of her tears heavy in the air. If I didn’t know any better, I would bet she deserved this, whit me being
who and what I was I knew she deserved none of this. She was so much like ‘her’ in many ways, but
the only difference was the fact that she was a ningen onna who also held the power of a miko. “Of
course wench, what more is there to think about?” Inuyasha states with to much pride in his voice that
sent the miko into another wave of despair. I could smell the pain peak in her as the scent of salt
became overwhelming, I also found a new scent hidden within the salt, blood, the scent of blood and
salt was enough to make my stomach flip-flop. “Your friends, what about us Inuyasha, don’t we mean
anything?” the demon exterminator speaks up finally in help to her friend. “What about you Sango,
you and Miroku joined us on your own accord.” Inuyasha says getting feed up on all this non-sense
talk. “Inuyasha, Sango, Lady Kagome, Shippou, and myself may have done more for you then you
could ever begin to know.”the monk says taking a step nearer to Sango. Kirara gave her agreement
with a meow as she jumped onto the exterminator’s shoulder. “When I need an opinion I’ll ask for
it Sango, and you to Miroku, but I was asking Kagome.” Inuyasha snaps at his friends. I knew from
the change in the miko’s scent that that was all it took, the last straw. “If that is truly all you need
Inuyasha, then maybe I should leave and never return, but as long as my friends are here, I will never
truly leave them. So I’ll tell you this Inuyasha, I’m going home, and I will be back, and if you want
the Shikon Shards so much, then ask Kikyo to help you find them while I am gone!” Kagome all butyells at
the half-breed. “At least Kikyo doesn’t need me to protect her all the time, at least she could
defend herself!” came Inuyasha’s growled reply. “Inuyasha......” was the whispered note of Kagome
as her eyes were shadowed by her bangs, “.......SIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” she finishes with a yell that made
my ears ring, before running off.

As soon as my ears stop ringing I look to where Inuyasha once stood to see a crater shaped just like
him that mus have been at least 15 feet deep. At this point I knew I should make my presence be
known. “You are truly the fool I took you for Inuyasha. You should have listened to her plead, and
now you are in a crater deeper then you are tall.” with my words spoken I leave in search of the onna
who smelt just like ‘her.’
