Deal with it

They got up the next day early in the morning and Kagome did all she could to avoid Inuyasha´s gaze. “Kagome let me carry your bag.” Inuyasha reached for her bag and touched lightly her shoulder and send a shudder trough her body, she looked beet red into his face before she turned to face the way in front of her. Inuyasha was again shocked by her reaction. She couldn’t even hand him her bag without shaking in disgust.
“T-Thank you…” she said rather audible.

“Hey Miroku what’s going on between them???” Sango asked.
“Well let’s say Kagome discovered a new hobby of Inuyasha.” He smirked when both, Inuyasha and Kagome, turned at the same time and looked at him. Inuyasha hit his face with his hand. Not the monk, too.

“Inuyasha…I think…I should….go home for a while.” Kagome said looking at the road. Inuyasha´s heart nearly broke. She really wanted to go. Kagome wanted to leave him. “Y-yeah. Whatever you want...” She looked puzzled; he let her go without a drama? Was he feeling that bad?

She took his hand in hers and guided him to the side of the path so the others couldn’t listen to them.
“W-what are you doing?” Inuyasha asked surprised and then saw her flushed and teary face. “Inuyasha, I searched for you yesterday to tell you that you didn’t hurt me. I didn’t hit the tree hard. I collapsed, because I couldn’t get enough sleep. I’m so sorry that I disturbed you yesterday.” She bowed her head when her statement ended. “Kagome…I really didn’t hurt you?” his face was beet red, too. –“Really Inuyasha. You didn’t.” -“But forgive me.” Inuyasha said with a bowed head. She couldn’t see his eyes, but she knew he was hurt. She pulled his face up so he looked at her and felt his skin burn under her fingers. “What for? You haven’t done something wrong Inuyasha.” He nuzzled his cheek into her hand and when he realized what he was doing he pulled back. “Did you think about me Inuyasha?” she asked when he turned to leave. He stopped “You heard me calling your name.” –“So you did?” He turned around and pinned her to a tree. “Gods yes! I know you may think that’s disgusting, but don’t leave me…I don’t know when it has started. This overwhelming need. The need to have you Kagome. Forgive me I can’t stop this feeling… ” She was trapped between a tree and his warm body. She slid her arms along his neck and held him close to her so that they could face each other. Slowly their lips meet and a little kitsune was heard. “Hey Inuyasha what do you take so long?! W-what are you doing with Kagome?” Inuyasha started a threatening growl and Shippou escaped into Kagome`s arms “Ah! Kagome he’s trying to hurt me!!!” –“All right Shippou. We are coming. Would you please go and tell Sango and Miroku that they can keep going, we will come now.” Shippou made his way across an angry hanyou and said “Kagome watch him, or he will eat you the next time.” With that Shippou ran off and Inuyasha swore something that was muffled by his hand. Kagome entwined her fingers with his and lead him along the path. “Kagome…” She smiled at him “I will never leave you Inuyasha. I will stay by your side as long as you want me to.”
He wanted to take her the second her sentence was over.

“So you guys have talked” Miroku said with a smirk.

“Nooo! Inuyasha pressed her against a tree and tried to kiss her, but I saved her!” Shippou shouted.

Kagome blushed hard and Inuyasha wanted to tear the little kitsune apart. “Shut up you brat! That’s none of your business!” Inuyasha yelled. “Teh! I won’t let you father her with a pup you jerk!” Shippou yelled back.
Kagome blushed a deeper shade of crimson.
“What are you saying you brat?!” Inuyasha was nearly turning full youkai, when he heard Shippou`s words. “You’re not worth enough to taint her!”

Inuyasha balled his hands into fists and clenched them so hard that blood dropped down his fingers. He was so angry that he barely could keep himself from transforming into his youkai self. Shippou`s words had hit him hard. He surely wasn’t worthy to taint her and this drove him insane.

Kagome stepped in front of him and tried to open his hands. “Inuyasha! Please stop!” she cried. He looked down at her. She started to cry and pleaded to him. “Please Inuyasha! Don’t hurt yourself! I will do whatever you want but unclench your fists! Please!” He suddenly opened his fists and pulled her into him. She fell in his arms around her and was glad he had stopped. Kagome clenched his haori hard and cried into his chest.

“Kagome…”

-“You stupid jerk! Don’t do this again! I never want you to do something like that again!” she shouted outraged under tears.

He nuzzled her hair and held her tighter.

Miroku pulled Shippou up by the tail and moved further. Sango followed. What was going on? Inuyasha showed his affection on Kagome in front of them? Like this?

After a few minutes Kagome pulled away and whipped her tears away.
She took his hand. “Come on Inuyasha. We must catch up with the others.” Her face was so blushed; she looked like a part of his haori. He blushed, too and enjoyed the feeling of her small hand against his. He always felt kind of save when she was near him even if they argued. He loved her so much, as much as he needed…as he wanted her.

The group reached a village and suddenly Inuyasha let go of her hand. It was terrible enough that the people hated him, but they shouldn’t hate her. They would maybe even try to harm her. He wouldn’t risk it to get her into danger. She looked over her shoulder and tried to take his hand again but he slapped her hand. She was shocked and stopped.

“The villagers will see us Kagome.” He whispered only to her eyes when he made his way past her. Now she got the point, too and she got more sadness by the second. Tears threatened to fall and her vision blurred. She couldn’t see the big stone and felt. But she didn’t collide with the ground as she thought. Kagome felt a warm hard chest against her face. His scent…the scent of a forest, wood…the fresh cool air…Inuyasha.

“Kagome the people look at us. Would you please let go? What if they will attack us?” he spoke silent like a whisper into her ear.

She pulled back and apologized with her blushed heated face. Pretending she didn’t love him as long as they would stay in the village.

He had seen her teary eyes. This was hurting him, too. But it was safest to stay away from the miko when other humans were around.

Miroku told the keeper of the nicest inn of the town that there was a very dark and evil cloud above his house and got a room for the night. The others felt tired and were thankful and at least there was really a demon, but only a little snake demon which was fast defeated.

Sango, Shippou and Kagome took a nice dip in the onsen while the two boys were left in their room.

“So you and Kagome have deepened your relationship?” the monk said with a dirty smile. Inuyasha glanced at him with anger “That’s none of your business. I don’t ask you if you fathered Sango lately and you shut up about Kagome and me!”
-“Hm…after your encounter with her yesterday night you couldn’t have fathered her Inuyasha? You hadn’t the time to take her. Are you this sexual frustrated?” the grin never left the monks face.
“Shut up!” Inuyasha grabbed Miroku and pressed him hard against the wall. In that moment the door flung open and Sango, Kagome and Shippou got in with shocked faces. “Inuyasha!” Kagome ran to him and held him back. “I will kill him! Let go, Kagome!” Sango took her clothes and lead Miroku outside to take a walk with her. “Inuyasha! Now you’re gone completely crazy?” Shippou said aloud. The inu-yokai sent him a glare that could kill and Shippou followed Sango and Miroku immediately.

After Shippou had left Inuyasha freed himself from Kagome`s form.

“Inuyasha…what was going on?” she asked quietly. He sat down in a corner and glared at her. She sat down in front of him. She hadn’t had the time to change and was wearing only a towel around her wet and naked body. If Inuyasha hadn’t been so angry he would have done something more pleasant than talk to her.
“It’s not important Kagome.”

-“Maybe it’s important to me. Don’t you want to talk with me?” She leaned in closer to him and looked so sad. Inuyasha nearly lost his nerve.

“He’s nerving me. He knows about yesterday night and talks about us…” he blushed.

“And what did he say that you would act like this?”

“He talked…about …”he hesitated.

“Yes?” she was curious.

“Sex…”he looked away and heard her take in a sharp breath.
Her face heated by a sudden blush. She touched her lips with her hand and reached slowly out for him. He stiffened when he felt her tiny hand against the skin of his cheek, brushing strands of hair away. Inuyasha turned his face to look at her and she smiled warmly.
“I understand why you were angry Inuyasha…” her smile never ended.
He took her hand and led it to his moth and placed a kiss inside. Now it was her turn to stiffen against his soft and gentle touch. He left her hand and looked away again. She eyed his figure slowly. He was again tensed it seemed as he was a rock…all nerves tensed to the hilt.
“Inuyasha!”she said cheerful.

“Uh-yes?!” he answered surprised.

“Can I massage you?!”
