Thicker than Blood

Face to Face

The following night it was the same as always quiet as she traveled the paths but a scream of a child came to her ears and Tikya made a mad dash for it.
Upon coming to the scene she saw a small human girl being chased down by a praying mantis demon. The girl tripped just as the huge blade like arms swung out to take her head. Diving in Tikya scooped up the child just missing the blades as they came down.
Tikya held the girl in her arms and drew her sword bringing it across in front of her then down and up slicing the demon in four. It fell into pieces then burst into dust.

The child was hiding her face in Tikya's shoulder. With her sword back at her side Tikya turned her head slightly to gaze at the child but ducked and spun around jumping back with the girl narrowly missing the claws that swiped at her with their green poison glow. Tikya placed the child down and watched her run to the one standing a short distance away.
"Rin was saved by this pretty lady." the girl said holding the demon's leg before pointing to Tikya.
"Jaken." He said unamused.
From the forest ran the small impish toad demon holding the staff of skulls and out of breath.
"Rin was in danger, where were you?"
"The nasty demon said Jaken was stinky and tasted yucky." Rin giggled.
"Lord Sesshoumaru forgive this toad for his inability to protect Rin when Unconscious." the toad squawked.
Tikya looked at the scene before her and held in the laugh that threatened to rise to the surface.
"Take Rin back to camp. If anything happens to her Jaken, I will have your head." Sesshoumaru warned.
Rin ran to Jaken and took his hand and they walked off. With Jaken muttering curses about human children.

Tikya narrowed her eyes slightly.
"Your welcome your royal pain in the ass." she said before turning to leave but when she felt him come at her she spun around bringing her arms up blocking his fist.
She thrust her arms out blocking more punches then turned her back to his whip, the one she had taught him.
It sliced right through her armor and stung her back. When it came across her back again she cried out slightly and fell to the ground on her hands and knees giving a deep growl. She stood up facing him but jumped back when his claws lashed out at her his eyes blood red.
Crashing into a tree all her armor fell into pieces at her feet, every last piece. Her bridal even fell and a small thin scratch appeared on her neck.
"This Sesshoumaru does not thank lowly females." he hissed as he stood not even two feet from her.
"You did once and I'm not a lowly female you flea bitten sack of shit male." she snapped back, her eyes slowly turning bright green while her hair washed green.
Sesshoumaru stepped back and drew Tokijin (i hope i spelt it right), his new blade and swung at her but she dove out of the way and rolled into a crouch. He brought it down on her but her hand flew up and caught the blade between them and thrust it back into his face. Her hands burned slightly but she didn't care.
He dropped the sword and growled deeply. Tikya returned the growl just as deep from her crouch.
Now both were in a crouch growling at each other trying to out growl the other, looking as if one or the other was going to pounce attack any second.
Deep in her mind Tikya couldn't believe she actually thought she might marry this guy, and be reasonably happy on top of it.

Both Sesshoumaru and Tikya launched at each other at the same time their hands interlocking but he was stronger and pushed her into a tree hard making the trunk crack under the pressure pinning her there with her hands against the trunk next to her head.
Her growl became more of a snarl as Sesshoumaru pinned her there unmoving, she would not submit to him. She could already smell his heat coming on; he would be in full heat in less then two days.
Already it was alluring to her making her heart beat slightly faster in response.
"I will not submit to you male..." she said angrily but what came next was totally unexpected to her.
Sesshoumaru's head slid next to hers and his teeth captured her ear in a snap making her cry out sounding like a yelp then whimpered slightly when he didn't let go. She was squirming under him but he pinned her with his body too.
When his teeth released her ear she looked into his eyes with her blue ones to find his still red.
"I will not have a female dominating me..." he trailed huskily, "Not the one I chose long ago to be my mate."
Tikya's eyes opened in shock as she heard this.
"You’re such a liar." she hissed at him suddenly.
For this she received a slap across the face so hard she fell into his arm that still pinned her other hand. Her left hand came to her cheek as she looked at the ground but she didn't have time to react when he grabbed her shoulder and pushed her back into the tree forcefully.
"Lord Sesshoumaru does not lie bitch." he growled at her his face right to hers their noses were almost touching separated by a hair.

"This Sesshoumaru wants a mate and he chooses this female before him." he told her holding her chin in his grasp. "I will not take any other female in my heat but this one. And I will most certainly not have some weak female in my bed or rule my lands by my side. This Sesshoumaru requires strong sons." His words were laced with a slight hint of lust.
Tikya couldn't believe her ears; he was telling her he wanted her face to face.
That he had wanted her to some degree many years ago when they would have been wed, instead he was rash and made her leave.
His voice and scent were driving her to the edge and back and her body was responding to his words and scent. She cursed her body for making the decision for her.
She knew he could smell she was pleased by this and aroused at that. She had never been forced into submission before, and she liked it. She had to give him an answer and soon...
"I'll think about it." she said to him plainly he only gave a slight smirk and backed off leaving her be as he parted.
“Damn him...” she thought to herself still leaning against the tree.
