Not a fairy tale life....
16 yrs later...............................
Night has fallen, the creatures are sound asleep. Silence filled the air. Not a bird chiriping, not a cricket in sight. Only the soft sounds of autumns fallen leaves. The bitter winter will soon come, leaving fall but a distant memory. In the further part of tokyo we take you to a house.
Peaceful and quiet as so many others. The house made of brick, the roof of cherry wood. Three residents slept soundly. The mother in her bed sleeping soundly, her son in his room, and there dog at the foot of the boys bed. The boy at the age of sixteen slept soundly in his room. Grey sheets for a cover, pillows as black marble, and his room painted in black, with red writings on the walls. Posters of rock bands, speakers nailed into the walls, a desk, labtop, dresser, papers littered on the floor, as well as his clothes.
This boy is inuyasha. A goth, a punk, a freak in those terms people use for him because of what crowd he runs by. If you have notice one missing resident, that is Mr. Taisho, husband to Ms. Taisho, widow, and father to son inuyasha, death of a parent. In inuyasha's early child hood, he lost his father sadly at a young age. He had to go through seeing his mother stress, the prick of losing her husband at such a rush. Mr. Taisho was found dead, with a bullet to the head.
They never found who did it.
After losing his father, inuyasha took charge of things, never having the time to have a life, his childhood. He instead was push into adulthood, becoming a man very young. His mother for awhile became sick, after losing her husband she just gave up, never hearing her sons pleads for her to get well, never ever reasoning that her sons grieving too. But he never could grieve. Never could show how much his fathers death hurt him.
His mother got well, but inuyasha didn't. He push people out, never letting anyone in. Friends who he knew since childhood gave up on him. Figuring he isn't worth the time, or a struggle to help him. Except for the two of his bestfriends. Miroku and sango. They would everyday come by check on how his mother was doing, and always spending time with inuyasha. even when he tried pushing them away. They never gave up, because they knew of the sorrow, and struggle inuyasha is going through.
At when he was able to work he got himself a job. Always working, going to school. Taking care of his mother, and sometimes hanging out with his friends. But he always felt it wasn't enough, being alone hurt, but he always felt someone watching over him, but never quite feeling the empty space in his heart go away.
For now he slept soundly in his safe haven. His room. Never realizing someone watching him from a distant, in a tree, outside his window. Sitting not too far on a branch, from him.
The small figure, the last of its kind, glowed. The size of a thumb. It is a fairy, a female fairy.She is quite beautiful. Long ebony hair, black as midnight. Eyes deep blue, patchings of leaves around her eyes, framing her face. Her wings a light yellow hew. Her skin creamy, long legs. A dress of miss patch leaves is her dress. Stems above her brows, holding her hair away from her face. She is indeed beautiful. Her name is kagome.
She sat alone in the dark, always watching, always waiting to be with the boy. Watching his sorrow, his loneiness. Then growing into a man, watching everything about him. She could not remember the last time she has seen his smile after his father died.
Kagome wanted nothing more then to reveal herself then, to share her sorrow with him, to help him, to see him smile again, to laugh, to be.....happy.
'Inuyasha.' Kagome sighed. 'When has there not been a time when I wanted nothing more then to comfort you? When has there never been a time when she has stop loving him? Since never.'
At the beginning kagome only felt a burden, a duty to protect and watch over this human. Time seemed to pass as duty became compassion. Compassion became adortation. Adoration became.....love. Yes kagome has fallen hopelessly in love with inuyasha.
She seemed to sadden even more. Because for he does not know she exist, nor does he love her. She made a promise to herself when starting to watch over him that she would not fall in love with him.
And where has the sneaking, and the hiding gotten her?
'No where.' Kagome thought. She then remembered a time where she grew angry with jealousy when he first started dating, his first kiss, his first crush. Gone that went. And so did her heart break whenever seeing him with another. But it is not his fault. She reasoned. She bowed her head, frowning. How could it be when he does not know of her? Of her love for him?
She laugh then. 'Fool.' She thought. What the heck is she thinking? She is nothing but a fairy, a creature. Him master, she slave. His wish taker. Her doing whatever he commands. Even though her people are dead she must follow by what that is said. And that is to never fall in love with a mortal. She looked away from the slumbering boy. But she could not help looking back.
But is that so wrong?
Kagome inhaled, standing on the dark branch of the tree outside the boys window. It is becoming to tempting to revealing herself. She was about to leave but hestated, looking back.
Would there be any harm into wanting to go inside there, touch his cheek, be in his prensence even for the sake for only a moment? She sighed, no matter how much she fights it, she cannot stop temptation.
'I need him. I need to be with him.' With that thought in mind she flew to the window, as quietly as she can. The window opened a small crack, but enough for her to get in.
She step inside.
