Time Between Two Hearts

Sealed and Stolen

"What did she mean by that?" Inuyasha questioned himself. He sat cross-legged with his back against the well. Rolling the jewel between his fingers, he mused about what to do with it. "I don't want to become a full demon...do I? What can I do with this, what do I truly want?" he pondered. He left for Kaede's hut, to tell the others Kagome had left, and to think more about what to do with the jewel.

"Why does it have to be this way?!" Kagome banged her fists on the well in a very Inuyasha-like manner. "Why me, why me?" she cried until her mother's concerned voice drifted to her ears. "Kagome are you alright?" "Go away just leave me alone!" she sobbed. "But dear you have some friends here to see you." her mother informed her. 'Friends, oh no, not right now, I can't let them see me like this!' she thought franticly. Bafore she could blink, the well doors flew open and in walked her three best friends.
"What are you doing in this old well house?" Eri asked "What do you.....oh um...."her voice drifted off and she thought. 'Should I tell them about Inuyasha and my journey's to fudel Japan?'she mused the added in her mind 'I'll just answer their questions truthfully.' With that she stood, wiped her eyes, and walked over to them and whispered, "I'll answer any questions but whatever I tell you, you can not tell anyone else." They nodded eager to have some of their questions answered. Kagome shut the well door, but there was still light shining through. "Okay, one at a time so I can actually hear what your saying."
Eri spoke first, "Why are you sick all of the time?"she asked. "I wasn't really sick, my grandfther made up lots of fake illnesses." Kagome answered. Ayumi asked next, "When can we meet this two-timing boyfriend of yours?" Kagome chewed her lip before answering, "You can't" she whispered then added, "but you can see him." she held out a picture of them, Inuyasha was carrying her bridal style, and they were far enough back the they couldn't see his ears. "Wow..." they all said in usion. Kagome turned the picture to herself then said in a halg-hearted chuckle, "Yeah...wow..." taers slipped down her cheeks and her friend became worried. "Kagome are you alright?" Yuka asked, while Kagome stood, completely forgetting her friends were there watching her, she only thought of Inuyasha. Kagome pounded her fists on the well, mimiking her earlier taktics. She screamed, "Why did you leave me Inuyasha, why, why, why?! You said you would always protect me, but how can you when your there and I'm here?! Inuyaaaaaaaaaaaashaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"she shouted. She jumped into the well, but this time not light surrounded her, she hit the hard dirt full force. "Kagome!" her friends all shouted. But Kagome didn't notice the pain, she just dug at the dirt with her nails sobbing Inuyasha's name over and over again.
Kagome's friends thought she'd gone mad and got her mother. "Kagome not this again, please tell me why are you still here, where's Inuyasha?" Kagome's mom asked "He's left!" she sobbed even harder. "Oh Kagome, is it that Kikyou?" her mother questioned. "No, we're done, we killed Naraku, I gave the jewel to him and then I left in tears. He told me to stay, but I said if I did the well would be sealed and I'd never see you again, I didn't know what to do!" she cried and cried until there was nothing more to cry for. He friends sent away, she went to her room and stayed there, she only left it to eat and bath, but she rarely talked to anyone, even her mother.

One month had passed and Inuyasha had finally figured how to get his wish and *his* Kagome. Kikyou watched from the forest, arms length away from Inuyasha, she would take him back once and for all!
"Shikon no Tama, please grant me this one wish, unseal the well so Kagome can pass through time forever, and so I can see her again."he said to the jewel. The tama glowed frowing in heat to the point where he had to drop it. A pink light swallowed him and the well, when the light dimmed, Inuyasha had diasappeared into the well. Kikyou followed, bow and arrow in hand, into the fading light. When her feet touched ground, she instantly climbed the ladder, and went out into the open air. She took in her surroundings and mumbled, "Doesn't surprise me" reffering to the buildings. A single soul stealer had come with her, all she needed now was the tetsusiga. She told her soul stealer what to do and the planed events were happening. "All going as planed."she smirked to herself as she thought this.
