Unseen Eyes
A bluish glow covered the girl as she healed her wounds. Energy was taken and exhaustion bid her to fall on her knees. Her master would be displeased at her apparent weakness. Kagome stood and continued to wipe the blood from the floor. The masking spell she had cast was drawing her down, and the Healing was going to knock her out soon, but the others couldn't know. He would be angry if they knew, and she would never make Him angry.
She sighed in remembrance. The punishment had been beautifully painful, as it always was. She winced as the Healing finally managed to re-open her eye. She had become something of a masochist since she'd been seeing her master, three years o pain and pleasure had given her that.
Sesshoumaru-sama... When will you come again? A shaking sob left her as she lifted the cloth from the now spotless floor. Every moment without him was like a million needles piercing her flesh. Every breath without his scent was a hot iron flaying her skin from her bones. Every thing she saw without his perfection to sooth it was a sword cutting her heart from her broken, torn ribs.
Pain was a virtue if it came from him. Inuyasha would never have understood how deeply in love she had fallen for her Master. Shippo would have cried that she was allowing pain to come to her person, Sango would have killed Him, and Miroku would have helped. She couldn't let this happen. She needed him. She burned for his touch, for the swift slice of his claws and the painful hiss of his toxic whip. Their relationship had never been sexual, but masochistic pain was very much like sex.
She nearly reached orgasm every time he punished her for disobedience, and last night had been no different.
Shaking her thoughts from her head, Kagome stood and carried the rage out into the night, throwing them a nearby stream to be taken to the river. She watched them a moment, then trudged back to Keade's hut, resting herself for an uneventful sleep.

A figure watched the girl take her beating from the Western Lord. He himself had reveled in her beautiful screams. He had wanted desperately to be the one pulling them from her throat. He had watched in awe that she was so obedient to one who caused such pain. Her arousal had been pain-stakingly obvious as well.
He followed her to the stream and waited until she was out of sight before he plucked the still-heavily-blood-coated rags from it. He liked at the blood, savoring its taste against his tongue. The sweet nectar was divine. He wanted more. Fangs grew over his lip and he gave a wicked grin. This sweet little thing was going to find herself in a position she hadn't expected before. He wanted her breathing his name in pleased anguish.
He caught the smell of sunrise on the air, and drifted back toward his hiding place. He could wait until evening to find her again. He would have her at any and all costs. She was a marvelous creature, one that he was certain would bring great honor to his family. She would make a most radiant prize, and an even greater puzzle. He lie in his bed and let his mind drift over the wonder that was this miko as he drifted to the sleep of the dead.

Inuyasha woke the next morning with a frown on his face. He dreams had been filled with the breathless screams on Kagome. He went to check on her, sighing in relief to see that she was unharmed as usual. She woke to his presence and murmured a word... Tatsujin? He thought. Why would she say master? He shuddered as he recalled his dream. It couldn't have been real, could it?
He shook it off when her beautiful mahogany eyes graced his. "Good morning, Inu-kun!" She said brightly, sitting up. There was a tired look about her, but that wasn't unusual this time of the day. "When are we leaving?" She inquired, packing their things for the day ahead. "As soon as the others get up." He grunted, turning and walking back to the front of the hut.
He hated being boxed in, but he had felt as though Kagome were in danger... An ominous feeling, that was. He had been so sure they were going to be attacked... But it had never happened. And Kagome seemed as cheery as usual. He leaped into the nearest tree and waited. The others would come out soon and they'd be off. He frowned. Even now the feeling of lurking evil surrounded his conscious. Miroku had sensed nothing, but even still, he could feel its presence.
He growled in frustration and cast it from his mind. He was just being paranoid.
Kagome picked up her bag and went outside, setting it on the grass just below the tree she knew Inuyasha had taken possession of. She turned and left again, returning with a blurry eyed Shippo and two grumbling ningen. She grabbed her bag and looked up expectantly. Inuyasha grunted and jumped down, dutifully taking his position as leader.
The day was uneventful. Kagome had sensed a shard, but whenever they got close to its location, the damn thing had moved farther away. It was running! They ran and ran, Sango, Miroku, and Shippo on Kirara and Kagome with Inuyasha, but they never got within more than ten miles of the youkai. It was frustrating to say the least.
Sango grumbled under her breath and pulled Kagome away from the camp. "I know you'll want a bath," she said, "and I want to get away from everyone." "Won't you join me for a bath?" Kagome asked. Sango frowned. "If you bathe to often your skin will fall off." She said. "You should really be careful, Kagome."
The miko rolled her eyes. "In the future, everybody bathes everyday, and no one ever dies of their skin falling off!" Sango looked at her in disbelief. "I'm not lying!" Kagome growled. "I'm sure you're not." Sango replied, but the look on her face didn't agree with her words. The miko sighed and ignored it. If her friend wanted to believe in such stupid ideas, who was she to protest?
At the stream, Kagome reverently washed the dirt from her skin. She sighed in languishment. There was no greater luxury than bathing. Sango gasped, causing the girl to wince. She had forgotten to spell her scars away. "Kagome, where did you get those wounds?" The taijiya asked. She waded into the water to get a better look. "They look old, but I've never seen them before.
Kagome smiled reassuringly. "It's nothing." She said. "Kids get cut up." Sango shook her head. "Not like this..." She muttered. "I think of you as a sister... You must tell me who did this."
Kagome's temper flared. "It's none of your business. You wouldn't understand!" Sango gave her a sympathetic look. She had seen this behavior before in girl who had been taken as youkai slaves. When it had happened was beyond her, but she knew the only way to cure this was to either kill the youkai or find a new master for the girl. "Who is he, Kagome?" She asked gently.
Kagome's power flared unexpectedly, throwing the taijiya from the spring. "How dare you seek to know his name? You aren't good enough for it!" Sango winced as another wave of power flared and struck her. She had never seen her friend this angry. He must be a very powerful youkai.
The power turned lethal and struck the ground, leaving a massive crater in its place. Sango scrambled away. She could hear Miroku and Inuyasha running their way, and she shouted for them to hurry. She ran as another wave crashed into her position, knocking trees from their roots and blowing them into dust. Kagome's eyes were glowing a bright, sickly reddish hue.
Kirara bounded into the clearing, hissing over her shoulder. Sango paused, confused, when the fire cat stood before the vengeance of the miko, hissing and growling at she and the others, who had finally entered the clearing. Inuyasha went for his sword, but stopped when he saw Kagome. Fear and worry crept into his eyes. Kagome climbed up onto the cat's back, and the two disappeared in a burst of flames. All were left speechless.

The creature watched the girl all night; he loved the way the moon reflected off her porcelain skin. His arousal grew as her power did. He nearly came out of hiding to take the girl right there, to hell with all else. He had wanted her to scream in pain as he tore through her vaginal walls, wanted to hear her panting for him to stop. He'd wanted so badly to taste her tears... But she had caught the scent of her current master nearby.
Sesshoumaru was not a youkai to mess with. The Vampire shifted irritably. He couldn't just attack the taiyoukai without the necessary means to kill him. His race was an odd one. The Vampire was half demon, half vampire. But one had to be born vampire to be vampire, unless a vampire gave you The Gift. In order to survive, these creatures fed on the blood of the heart, their favorite being youkai hearts. It was a constant battle to feed each night. Human food would only last so long before they'd need to hunt again.
The Vampire settled himself to watch the ending, had had been mildly surprised the fire cat would save the girl, but had not minded. A fire cat could make a very healthy ally. Particularly to a Vampire. He tilted his head to the side and let his nose do the thinking. His sire was about somewhere. He could feel it.
The creature pushed delicate violet strands behind his ear. He would tell his sire of the girl tonight. He would tell him of his desire for her. Together, the two were unstoppable. Sesshoumaru wouldn't stand a chance to face them in Challenge. He wanted the slave girl, and nothing would stop him.
A presence alerted him to his sire, and he fell into the others' embrace. The mates made their way back to their hiding place, unconcerned with the fight behind them. Golden eyes watched them leave, a growl issuing from his chest. So a Vampire had his sights set on what was HIS? Sesshoumaru grinned in pure satisfaction. This would prove to be very interesting...

Can any of you guess which anime this is being crossed over with? I don't normally write crossovers, but it became too tempting while I was typing.
