Naraku's Devious Plot

Naraku's Devious Plan

Last time: "Right, when I'm human it feels ok to let my feelings go. So I'm going to just have it out. Kagome, I..." he paused nervously. "I love you" There he said it, he felt better immediately.

Kagome was in total shock over him saying that "Do you mean it, Inuyasha?"

"Of course I do, I wouldn't say it if I didn't"

"Oh, Inuyasha" Kagome says and hugs him tight. "I love you too"

"I hate to interrupt this precious moment, but I've come to kill Inuyasha" an all too familiar voice says

Chapter 2: The Owner of the Voice

"Kikyo!" Inuyasha jumps up and grabbed Tetsusaiga, which luckily wasn't too far away. "I said go away, I want nothing to do with you" Inuyasha growld

"You really think I'd let you go that easily, Inuyasha?" Kikyo asks "You're going to go to Hell with me remember?"

"Yeah, I remember saying that, and I will go to Hell with your soul Kikyo, not your body." Inuyasha says, "You are nothing more than a doll that I should break"7

"But you can't, can you Inuyasha?"

"Kagome" Inuyasha whispers "Get your bow and arrow".

Kagome nods and goes to move and Kikyo pulls an arrow and aims it at her. "Don't even think about moving, girl"

"You're fight is with me, Kikyo" Inuyasha says. "Leave Kagome out of this"

Kikyo looks at Inuyasha and suddenly realized that something was different. "Inuyasha, what's happened to you, where are your ears, and your hair isn't silver?"

Kagome quickly takes off toward Sango and Miroku while Kikyo looked at Inuyasha puzzled.

"That's right, you've never seen me like this, have you Kikyo?"

"What do you mean?"

"Every half-demon has times when they become human, this is mine"

"You're human right now?"

"Yeah, what of it?

" "You never told me?"

"I didn't feel I could really trust you, I guess. With Kagome it's different"

"So you're willing to fight me without any of your powers to keep me away from you?"

"Kikyo!" Kagome stands ontop a hill with her bow and arrow. "Leave Inuyasha alone"

"I never intended to fight you on my own" Inuyasha says as Sango and Miroku come up the hill behind Kagome.

"I will shoot you Kikyo" Kagome says Kikyo moves to aim at Kagome and Kagome fires her arrow at Kikyo.

Kikyo tries to stop the arrow with her shield, but the best she can do is dodge it. "You're strong girl, I'll give you that, but let's see how you fair against my arrow" Kikyo fires straight at Kagome.

"Wind Tunnel!" Miroku yells as he takes the prayer beads from his hand, the wind picks up and sucks the arrow right into it, Miroku quickly wraps the beads around his hand again.

"I see, your friends are strong, but there's nothing they can do for you when I do this" Kikyo says as she takes another arrow and points it straight at Inuyasha's heart, in his human form he'd never live from it, and he was too far away for Miroku's wind tunnel to help.

"Is this what you want Kikyo?" Inuyasha as "To kill me?"

"I want you to be with me"

"Not going to happen, even if you kill me"

"Then if I can't have you, no one can. Die, Inuyasha!" she pulled back the string and then suddenly the bow is broken, a dagger stuck into the ground near Kikyo's feet.

On another hill a figure stands, and speaks "If anyone is to kill Inuyasha, it will be me"

Author's Note: What is this kill Inuyasha day? Who is this new person that wants to kill Inuyasha? And what does this all have to do with Naraku? Just be patient, and you'll find out. Until then peace.
