Chapter II Fear of Flying

Kit’s nervousness grew no better as the plane taxied away from the terminal and took off. Shippo found it rather amusing to see the normally carefree youth so obviously terrified by being in the enclosed aircraft. He knew he shouldn’t be amused by it but Kit was being such an ass today.

As soon as the seatbelt sign was off, Kit started getting up and wandering the aisles till a flight attendant would ask him to sit down, only to pop back up again 10 minutes later. The fourth time around a familiar voice called out to him as he reached the rear of the plane. It was the redhaired girl he had been flirting with, sitting in an outside row of seats.
“Hey Kit are you planning to jog all the way to Japan?” She asked.
“Melanie” he said with a grin. “My first time in a plane. I’m a little nervous I guess.”
“Oh I see,” she grinned back “well my seatmates seemed to have missed the flight so why don’t you sit here and talk with me awhile. It will help take your mind off it. Besides they are getting ready to serve dinner and I hate to eat alone.”
“Ok.”

Shippo wasn’t sure what had happened to Kit as dinner was served and commented on it to Spirit Singer.
“There are several empty seats.” The elderly shaman commented. “He may hfounfound someone to talk to. I wouldn’t worry, he is a big boy.”
“Ok,” Shippo said. He was still a little concerned but decided to take the advice for the moment and eat his dinner.

As they ate dinner Melanie explained to Kit how she was going to tour Asia as a break from college and her now ex-boyfriend.
“How about you?” She had asked.
“Oh I’m traveling on business,” he said.
“I see. Any girlfriend?” She asked, getting to what she was really interested in.
Kit thought a moment about last night. “No” he said at last. “Not at the moment.”

The dinner trays had been collected and the flight attendants were preparing for the in-flight movie when Melanie asked Kit to fetch a blanket from the overhead bin. She had been increasingly leaning against him and the scent of her arousal had not diminished, so Kit took the opportunity while standing to change his physical appearance to match the illusion of his charm. It just wouldn’t do to have her run her hand through his hair and encounter a set of invisible coyote ears.

The cabin darkened and they settled down with Melanie leaning against him under the blanket to watch the movie. The movie was a disaster film about a group of people trapped in a tunnel that was slowly filling with water. Kit found he wasn’t really following the details as the imagery had managed revive the feelings of being enclosed that plagued him earlier. Melanie noticed him starting to tense up and leaned closer to him.
“Feeling nervous again?” she asked.
“The movie isn’t helping” he replied with a little laugh.
“Poor boy” she said and glanced around noting that everyone near them was asleep or engrossed in the movie.
“Maybe I can help you out” she said snuggling closer to him.
Suddenly the movie and plane were forgotten as Kit felt her hand rub against crotch of his jeans beneath the blanket.
“Melanie, I…” he started but she stopped him with a finger to his lips.
“Just helping a fellow traveler in need” she said as her hand attacked the fastenings of his pants. She silenced any further protest with a kiss. She was pleasantly surprised to find he wasn’t wearing any underwear under his jeans. He moaned into her mouth as she gripped his rapidly hardening manhood and pulled it free.
Kit wasn’t sure if this was a good idea but he had always lived by a ‘if it feels good do it’ philosophy and this definitely felt good. She leaned back long enough to fold the armrest out of the way and encouraged him lift his hips to slide his jeans down to his knees. Then looking around again to make sure they were not being observed, she ducked under the blanket and lifting his shirt started licking his belly button.
Kit leaned back pretending to be asleep as his hand found its way under her skirt and into her panties. His fingers found her wet depths and proceeded to return her pleasure. She continued down to kiss and lick at his shaft. Kit’s breathing quickened as he struggled to remain silent. He had to bite his lip to stifle a groan when she swallowed him.
To be honest, aside from being interrupted he didn’t really care if the other passengers heard them. The only person whose knowledge or innocence of his actions he cared about was going to know anyway.

Shippo had been trying to watch the movie but was only half listening as he started to doze. Something had been fluttering around on the edge of his senses and he snapped awake as he realized what it was. Kit and the girl from the airport, he could smell their arousal clearly, only it wasn’t just arousal anymore. He frowned. It seemed Kit had found a way to deal with his nervousness after all.
“Something wrong?” Spirit Singer aske“Oh “Oh nothing I just had a bad dream” Shippo said.
Singer was sure the Kitsune was not being fully honest but decided it wasn’t any of his business and returned to watching the movie.
Knowing he shouldn’t but unable to contain himself, Shippo got up and started towards the rear of the plane. He followed the scent to an outside row of seats at the very back of the plane. The seats were empty except for a blanket but the strength of the smells indicated they had been here just moments before. His sharp ears then caught a sound over the roar of the jet engines. Moving further back he came to an occupied lavatory. The sounds coming from inside made it clear that they were both inside and what they were doing. Shippo turned and went back to his seat.
“Did you find Kit?” Singer asked.
“Yes, you were right he found someone to talk to.”
Shippo leaned his seat back and pretended to go back to sleep.
‘Yes, perhaps it is all for the best’
