sango's adventure

hello, here is chapter 2. i hope everyone likes it. i have recieved 1 review and i must say i was very suprised i got good feedback. i hope this one will be good too. so all of you out there who read my story please try to review it and let me know what you think. i'll take most all comments as long as they are not flames

here comes the disclaimer: i don't own inuyasha, but i still wish i owned kagome so i could have my way with her...lol

Sango was startled as she turned her back towards inuyasha.

"What are you doing here?!?" sango asked, slightly surprised to see him.

"uh...well..i...saw you walking and figuired i should follow you to make sure demons wouldn't attack you" inuyasha became angry " and you know better than to go out walking by yourself at night, you should've took kagome with you, or at least miroku"

sango became a little upset with inuyasha " i can take care of myself just fine inuyasha, i'm a demon slayer. i don't need someone to go with me everytime i go somewhere" sango retorted.

"well, i don't care. you should've told someone" inuyasha sat down near the bank and crossed his arms.

sango swam a little farther out until she found a rock to hide behind so she could have some privacy. "you know, it's not very nice of you to be peeping on me like this. i'm sure kagome would be very upset if i told her what you did" sango said as she cracked a wicked smile.

"you wouldn't dare...." inuyasha snorted

"oh, and what makes you think i won't" sango loved this little game she was playing with him.

"feh....whatever" inuyasha snorted.

Sango's voice became more serious.."inuyasha....i want you to tell me something..."

Inuyasha just snickered.."yeah,what?"

Sango waited for a few minutes, trying to get the nerve to say what she was about to say.

Blushing heavily, she spoke " tell me inuyasha.....what do you think of me?"

Sango came out from behind the rock and swam closer to the bank, letting inuyasha see her in all her glory.

"look at me inuyasha....am i beautiful?" she asked, trembling.

inuyasha froze, unable to say a word.

"S..Sango. why would you ask such a question?"

"I want to know inuyasha.....i want you to tell me" Sango began to tremble again.

Inuyasha walked closer to her..."S...Sango....you are.....very beautiful. you have always been since i first met you"

Inuyasha stopped when he came to the edge of the water. Then sango came up to the very edge to meet him.

" Inuyasha...i can't take it anymore...i must confess...i must tell you" she said, now lightly trembling.

"Yes, what is it?" as inuyasha looked deep into sango's eyes.

"I...I love you inuyasha " sango hugged inuyasha and held him in a tight embrace.

Inuyasha held her as well, just as tight, and unable to let go. he couldn't let go even if he wanted to.

After a few minutes, Sango released her hold and kissed inuyasha, doing her best to remember what kagome had told her about kissing someone. Sango knew she still had some learning to do in that area.

As sango released his lips, inuyasha spoke " Sango, why didn't you ever tell me you felt this way about me?"

Sango stood silently for a moment.."well,....i was afraid to tell you..i didn't know what you would say."

Inuyasha went behind sango and wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her firmly against him.

"Sango,....you don't ever have to be afraid to tell me something..I'm here for you" as he nuzzled against her neck and kissed her right under her ear.

Sango began to get teary eyed "I was afraid of what everyone would think....especially kagome. I don't want her to hate me..it's like she's a sister i never had" sango began to cry in inuyasha's chest.

"C'mon sango. Don't cry. I'm here for you" inuyasha did his best to comfort the demon slayer.

"But you don't understand inuyasha, it's wrong for me to love you. That was the number one thing my father taught me: never, ever associate yourself with a demon, or even a half demon. it will bring you nothing but trouble. I always remembered that. But with you it's so hard for me to say no. You've saved my life and even tried to save kohaku's life. That is why i love you the way i do.....beacause you have done so much for me. No one has ever helped me as much as you have inuyasha."

Inuyasha tried to find the right words to say.."well, no human, other than kagome, has cared about me this much before."

Inuyasha went to sit down in a mossy, comfortable spot near the bank of the lake. Sango followed and laid down next to him.

"I wish this night would never end" sango sighed.

Sango came up with an idea..."Inuyasha,...please...stay with me. here...tonight. i want to sleep in your arms. i want you to hold me so i will feel better" Sango pleaded.

Inuyasha thought for a moment.." i guess we can...but we will have to leave early so the others won't find us" Inuyasha warned.

Sango cuddled closer to inuyasha, wanting to feel his warmth so it would make her feel safe.

Inuyasha wrapped his arms around sango....." I will always protect you sango..no matter what "

Soon inuyasha and sango drifted off to sleep.

Unknown to inuyasha and sango, someone was watching them from behind a tree not too far away.....
