Iinterlude before chaos.

Monday evening 5:45 PM (Inuyashas office):
“Kagome, come here for a second will you?” Inuyasha called from his office.
“Yes?” Kagome said sweetly.
“You know earlier when I had lunch with my brother?” Inuyasha said while fiddling with some papers on his desk.
“Yes Inuyasha, I remember. What is it?” Kagome said; as she watched the handsome businessman in front of her.
“He and hivelyvely wife Rin are due to have a baby in a few months.” Inuyasha said with a shrug. “And he wants to discuss my father’s estate that he left for us. Seems he wants more then he’s supposed to get.”
Kagome nodded some. “Ok Inuyasha, What do you want me to do?”
“Tomorrow go out and buy Rin and him a baby present with the company banking account and then when you return from that tomorrow I want you to bring up my fathers estate on your computer and print me out from the files to look over. Sess for some reason wants both of my frs srs swords when he’s only supposed to get one, I have no need for the sword I’m entitled too. But there’s no way I’m letting my filthy brother get it.”
Kagome giggled some; she’d always thought he was adorable when he was somewhat angry. “Ok Inuyasha, I’ll do it first thing in the morning!”
With that Kagome skipped back to her desk, looking at the clock on her computer; sighing happily that the workday was almost over.
Kagome gathered files and other paper work that shedededed to take home and put it in her briefcase, shutting down her computer afterwards.
Kagome walked back inside Inuyashas office. “I’m going to leave soon; Inuyasha is there anything else you need before I go?”
Inuyasha only shook his head and waved some and mumbled out a “No thanks Kag, That’s all for now, Have a good night and I’ll see you tomorrow.”
Kagome shrugged some and headed out the door.

Monday evening 5:50 PM (Mirokus office)
“Miroku!” Sango shouted as she was heading out the door.
“I’m fixing to leave now; do you need anything else before I go?”
“Yea Sango, I’m going to be leaving Saturday just to let you know a few days in advance. I need you to accompany me on this trip. We’ll be gone til Wednesday .” Miroku said as he started to stuff some files into his briefcase.
Sango nodded some and sighed sadly.
“Ok Miroku… Even though Inuyasha won’t be too happy about this, I guess I can make arrangements for me to go with you.”
Miroku smiled “Thanks Sango. I really need you there. Kouga is one tough cookie to crack. And if we’re going to partner with him, I’m going to need you by my side.”
Sango shook her head as she headed out the door. “Well birokiroku, See you tomorrow. And please DO NOT forget that you have to have lunch with Inuyasha and tell him of your plans and this business trip.”
Miroku smiled hesitantly, for he knew Inuyasha would be sort of upset.
And when Inuyasha is upset, he wasn’t someone you wanted to mess with.
Sango walked out the door and to the elevator.
Pushing the lobby button she thought to her self
~Why would Miroku want to par up up with Kouga, He’s in Illinois and this is Las Angeles. ~
Sango sighed and decided not to think more of it.

Monday evening 6:00 PM (downstairs lobby.)
*DING! *
Kagome stepped off the elevator once more, doing her usual routine
Wait in the lobby and talk to Sango as she waited for Miroku and Sango waited for Inuyasha.
*DING! *
Kagome heard as she watched Sango step off the elevator with a smile on her face when she saw Kagome. “Hi Kagome! How’ve you been?” Sango said nicely as she sat beside Kagome.
“I’een een good. Miroku still won’t take time off to plan the wedding. But oh well. He is busy I suppose.” Kagome said with a sigh.
“Ahh..Cheer up Kagome; I’m sure he’ll be un-busy soon. He has been being swamped with a good load of work lately though. No worries; I’ll see if I can make an opening in his schedule for you.” Sango said while patting her friend on the shoulder.
“Um.. Ok Sango.. Thanks Anyways. How’ve you been Sango?” Kagome said cheerfully, Not letting the thoughts of having to get Sango to make time for Miroku, just so she can spend time with him get her down.
“Oh, I’ve been pretty good. Inuyasha and I were going to go this Saturday to pick out flowers for the wedding. But now it seems I have to go with Miroku on his business trip.” Sango said with a sigh.
“Oh.” Was all that Kagome had said when she heard two *DING! *’S
Kagome and Sango both smiled as they saw their fiancés getting off different elevators around the same time; coming from the opposite direction of one another.
Inuyasha waved some at Miroku as he walked over to Sango and gave her a nice kiss on the lips. Miroku narrowed his eyes some and waved back a little as he went to Kagome and gave her a big hug and a tender French kiss. Kagome and Sango both giggled as they thought their loves like to show off some.
“Well Miroku, I’ll see you tomorrow old friend” Inuyasha said with a smirk on his face as he toongo’ngo’s hand and started to lead her out the work building
“Yea Inuyasha, See you around.” Miroku said with a grin as he took Kagome by the waist with his left arm and walked her out the door to his Jag.
And thus…another workday ends.
