Chapter 2 - Found Love

Inuyasha, Kouga and Kaede all worked together to clean Kagome’s wound. The wound was big, the cut from the middle of her stomach to the middle of her back was not bleeding any more. If they moved Kagome even by a little push her wound could start bleeding again and she had already lost quite a bit of blood. “Kagome-chan?” said a voice from behind them, all 3 of them turned to see Sango and Miroku. They both had a shocked look on their faces “What happened to Kagome-sama?” Miroku asked his voice shaking slightly, Inuyasha walked out and Sango and Miroku followed. Once outside “we’re not sure what happened to Kagome but I think it had to be one of Naraku’s demons from the look of the wound” Inuyasha answered, “but how did you find her Inuyasha there has been a lot of demons around lately you wouldn’t have smelled her blood?” Sango asked still in a worry voice. “Yeah that’s right. At first I smelled Kagome’s scent but she was early so I let her be, then I saw her at the top of the hill and she was hunched over so I ran as fast as I could and I noticed I was going faster than usual. It had to my will to protect Kagome” Inuyasha recalled the facts about Kagome. Sango and Miroku had a little hope that Kagome would be fine but the wound was big and Sango knowing for a fact that it will not heal completely.

Kaede watched as Sango and Miroku followed Inuyasha out, “Right, back to putting bandages on Kagome” Kaede said more to herself for Kouga was not listening in his head 3 words were repeating themselves ‘KAGOME GET BETTER’. At that moment Kagome’s unconscious form started to give off a blue light “Inuyasha, Sango, Miroku” Kaede yelled to get them in here, the 3 where in the hut within seconds after Kaede’s call “Kaede wh..” Miroku started to say but then he saw the blue light from Kagome. All 5 of them were just staring at Kagome. They saw Kagome lift her arms to her wound, she put her hand flat a little above the wound and started to heal. “Kagome” Inuyasha muttered as if Kagome heard him her arms went back to her sides. As they were about to leave Kagome stirred but they thought it was just something in a dream she was having and still they headed for the door until “Inuyasha” Kagome said softly but loud enough for all of them to hear. Inuyasha turned around as Kagome opened her eyes “Kagome” Inuyasha said as he flew to her side nearly as fast as his brother. All the others just looked really shocked to see Kagome awake when she had only been out for about 2 hours. Kouga was the first to move besides Inuyasha “Kagome” he said as he kneeled down on the opposite side to Inuyasha. “What happened?” Kagome asked in a weak voice as a quick pain shot though her left side “Don’t you remember the demon attacking you, Kagome?” Kouga stepped in before anyone else could. Kagome face went from confused to shocked, at once by Kagome’s face everyone knew she remembered as she started to look at her left side to see the wound. “But what I can’t re ore out is why a feel so weak?” Kagome asked sitting up. “Well…” Miroku began but was interrupted “It looked like you were healing yourself Kagome-chan” Sango said walking to Kagome, “Yeah, Kagome-sama your powers have some how not been showing themselves until now” Miroku said going over to the sitting Kouga, both Sango and Miroku sat down around Kagome. Miroku next to Kouga and Sango next to Inuyasha but Kaede hadn’t said anything or moved.

Kaede was deep in thought about Kagome’s powers ‘Kagome is differently Kikyo’s reincarnated, but Kagome has a lot more power than Kikyo’. When Kaede saw Kagome’s form surrounded by blue light she new that Kagome had healed a little of her wound but not enough so the wound would not open again. “Inuyasha can I talk to you” Kaede said so she could tell Inuyasha what was on her mind. Inuyasha got up and walked over to Kaede “Come outside” Kaede motioned to the door.
“What is it?” Inuyasha said in a bored tone he would rather be by Kagome’s side. “Lately I’ve been sensing a lot of energy from Kagome. I know she is sis’s reincarnation but Kagome has a lot more power than Kikyo had” Kaede said straight out with no hesitations “what does that mean?” Inuyasha asked a little confused “it means that Kagome has a lot more power that is still hidden” Kaede answered as clearly as she could.

“I wonder why Inuyasha was called outside for” Sango said to no one in particular so she got up and listened to what they were talking about “Sango-chan what are they talking about?” Kagome said still in a slow voice “Kagome-chan their talking about you” Sango said a little surprised but she should have known. Kagome got up to listen “Kagome, you shouldn’t walk yet” Kouga said but Kagome ignored him “Kagome’s got a lot more power than Kikyo but its hidden” Kagome heard Kaede say ‘how could I have more power than Kikyo’ Kagome thought to herself ‘I am barely able to use my powers when I need too’ Kagome kept arguing with herself when Inuyasha walked in though the door and walked into Kagome “Kagome, I’m sorry” said Inuyasha with a worry look ‘Oh no I hope that didn’t open up Kagome’s wound’ Inuyasha said to himself but it started bleeding again “That’s ok Inuyasha” Kagome said so Inuyasha wouldn’t feel bad, then she realized something running down her leg and it was red “Kaede” Kagome said in a little voice as she fainted “Yes?” Kaede asked poking her head in though the door but shocked to see Kagome on the floor a little red line flowing down her leg.

Inuyasha walked though Inuyasha Forest to the god tree that he was sealed to until Kagome came and freed him. Inuyasha was not needed at Kaede’s hut so he went to the first place he and Kagome had met. At first when he and Kagome set out on the journey of collecting all the jewel shards he only thought of Kagome as a tool but now he knew her like she was family. Inuyasha wasn’t going to lose Kagome like he lost Kikyo all those years ago, he wasn’t going to give up on losing someone he cares about not now not ever. Inuyasha had finally found his feelings towards Kagome. “What you thinking about Inuyasha?” said a soft familiar voice from behind him “Miroku” Inuyasha said turning around “What are you doing here? I thought you were helping Kaede?” Inuyasha asked in an annoyed tone, “Sango took over” Miroku answered “You know, Kagome looks like she is about to die, she has lost a lot of blood” said Miroku making sure Inuyasha didn’t feel left out “Die, DIE, KAGOME CAN NOT DIE I WILL NOT LET HER” Inuyasha yelled “CAUSE I LOVE HER” Inuyasha flew off in the direction of his brothers castle.
