Eternally Yours
A dark saviour
2.
Sango’s sight blurred due to her blood
loss and she fainted just before she could see him up close. He kneeled next to
the young woman with the giant boomerang. He had seen her take on four vampires
and she had killed them with ease even if she was badly wounded. This was
perhaps someone he could get help from. His hand moved over the razor sharp edge
of the boomerang. He was pretty sure that it was made from material that was
unknown to him. But he could feel the power that resided inside it and he moved
his gaze back at the woman. The wound in her shoulder was going to kill her
unless he did something.
-
She will hate you for it, said a voice from seemingly out of nowhere.
-
She will be alive, said the figure with a dark raspy voice.
-
She will still hate you for it D, said the voice.
-
Perhaps.
He placed his hands behind her back and
neck and pulled he to to rest in his arms. He brushed a few strands away from
her face and neck, exposing her white skin.
-
I am not so sure about this D, see that glow around her wound, it looks
dangerous, said the voice.
-
I can not feel anything hostile about it.
-
Sometimes I just hate being stuck to you, snorted the voice.
-
Hmpf..
The dark figure bit his lip right before
he descended down on her throat. He felt his own cursed blood pound in his ears,
his white skin suddenly felt very warm and he let out a small growl before his
sharp fangs pierced her throat. For a few seconds he was certain that he had
touched the heavens. Her blood, more powerful than anything he ever had tasted
through out his long life. His spirit was raised, his heart thumped hard, his
mind went into overdrive. Her blood was almost like aphrodisiac. And he was
enjoying it. He wanted to banish that thought but he couldn’t, he feared that
this little lady was going to affect him on more level than just one. He was
certain that her blood were more pure than any virgin he ever would encounter in
these lands of darkness.
He reluctantly let go of her flesh and
looked down on the wound and saw the purple glow seep into her body as it was
healed. His blood was making sure that she would not loose her life, but he had
cursed her to a life in the shadows and darkness. She would be able to travel by
day, but nothing more. “I am sorry young woman, but I feel that you have
something more to accomplish in this world.” He thought and laid her down on
the ground again. He removed his cape and covered her body, sheltering her from
the cold night. He listened to the sounds around them, but it was nothing but
the ordinary sounds of the night.
-
Shall I keep watch D? You look like you are about to pop a vein, said the
voice.
-
Do so, keep watch.
-
She tasted good then?
-
Good night.
He closed his eyes and let a small sleep
take over his mind. His mouth still harboured the heavenly taste of her blood
and he wanted to smile, which he didn’t of course, he never smiled.
