Lady Kaede's Demon Lover

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Three Days Later~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sango and Kaede where up on their feet and feeling better. Inuyasha would not leave Sango’s side until the moment she tried to hit him with her boomerang, “Inuyasha - if you don’t give me some time to myself I will KILL YOU.” Then she walked away to take a bath with Kagome and Kaede.

“Sango we are going to leave in one day to find some more shards. Do you think you will be OK by then?” Kagome asked as she walked in to the hot spring?

“Yes I’m doing well now, and Kaede - will you be coming with us?” Sango looked at Kaede with a smile on her face. “I think it would make Inuyasha happy to have you with us. He looks at you like as his mom in his own way.”


“Yes I will come with Ye, I have told Inuyasha this last night. I still not use to this new body mine. But I think I will manage.” She looked over at the other two as she cleaned her body.

After the bath they ate and went to bed to get up before the sun rose over the horizon. The next day they were off to find more Jewel shards. Suddenly Kagome yelled, “There are six Shards that way.” they came to a small village that was under attack by Snake Demons. As Inuyasha, Sango and Miroku were fighting the demons, Kagome and Kaede where trying to get all the women and children to a safe place. Kaede saw a little girl run and hide behind some crates.

“Child, will ye please come with me so I can take you to a safe place?” she said and she put out her hand to the girl to take. But she failed to notice the snake demon sneaking up behind her, the child screamed in terror. Kaede used her own body to protect the girl from the demons venomous fangs. But when she was waiting for the pain to come it did not. She looked up to see Lord Sesshomaru looking down at her with a dead demon in his hands..

Kaede hugged the child to her body for she did not know what the Demon Lord would do to the child or herself. "My Lord do to me what you like, but please spare the child." she begged the Lord.

A small green toad like demon came running up to the Lord. " Milord I can't find Rin, she ran when the Snake Demons attacked." He then looked up at his Master and followed his Masters gaze down to the small huddled forms at Sesshoumaru’s feet "There you are Rin why did you run from me like that?" scolded the little toad.

The newly young miko and the Taiyoukai where still looking into each others eyes. 'Do I know this young miko; she looks familiar to this Sesshomaru.' Then he shook his head to clear it, trying to


“Rin we are leaving come.” He then turned and started to walk off. Rin jump out of Kaede’s arms and ran after the Demon Lord. Just then they heard a scream coming from where they left the miko. A big and powerful Snake Demon had Kaede held by her neck, several feet into the air.
“I think I will have some fun with you before I kill you.” He took on his human form and with his clews he started to rip her clothing. Just then Sesshomaru came up from behind the Snake and pumped it full of his poison He picked up the young Miko. ’How is it that I know you? That some part of me trying to tell me so’ He moved some of her hair from her face. He then leanewn twn to take her lips in a light kiss.

‘This taste, I have kissed her before.’ The thought hit the lord hard as he recognized her taste. Then he remembered a young one eyed miko, he looked at the woman and saw that she too was one-eyed, although her hair had hidden that fact from him at first.

* Flashback *
Sesshoumaru would have left, normally he would, but there was something about this one-eyed woman who held him in a tight grip. He could not move from the spot and he growled. This had never happened before, and she was just a lowly human. He needed to get her to talk about something else, then maybe he would be able?
“What happened to your eye wench?” He asked suddenly.
“M-my eye? Ohh, it was an accident. It happened when I was still a child.” said Kaede, much confused about the demon’s interest in her.
“I understand, petty.”
Kaede’s grey eye widened in surprise. Did he really petty her?
“I… I am quite used to it now, but it does not give you any husbands.”
Sesshoumaru could hear the bitterness in her voice and he felt his cold heart move, ever so slightly. He moved his hand to caress the cheek of the woman. ‘What is it about her that makes me behave like this?’ he asked himself as he felt the soft skin caress his thumb like rose petals.
Kaede was scared out of her wits. She felt his hand on her face and she was sure that he was going to kill her. But the seconds passed, and he just continued to stroke her cheek with soft motions. She looked up into his eyes and she was bewildered to see something soft. ‘What does he want with me?’
Sesshoumaru was not sure either, but this woman was like sadness itself. And his youkai heart did not like it at all, he wanted something else to live for and he moved his hand to be placed on the back of her neck. He pulled her closer so that their bodies were touching each other. He placed his other hand on her waistline and he gripped her soft flesh.
“This Sesshoumaru think that you need to live on young miko. I think that you will be around when my brother is released from his curse.”
“I have not much to live for Sesshoumaru-sama.” whispered Kaede and tears appeared in her eye.
“Then I shall give you a reason to live on, will you accept me for one night of pleasure?”
Kaede gasped, her heart stopped beating for a second. Was he serious or was this some kind of cruel youkai joke?
“Trust me miko, I have no intention on deceiving you.”
“B-but.. why?”
“Like I said, I need you to live on and… some part of me wants to give you this.”
“No human male wants me, why should you?”
“They are fools” stated Sesshoumaru like it was the most natural thing in the world and it brought a shy smile on her lips. Sesshoumaru melted on the spot; this female was radiant when she smiled.
“Thank you Sesshoumaru-sama, that warmed my heart.” said Kaede with honest.
“Would you come with me to a more private place?”
Her heart skipped a beat again but she nodded. He took her hand and walked to a small building with in the temple complex.
Once inside he used magic spells to seal off the building, no body was allow to disturb them during this night. He could smell her nervousness, but he could also detect some small amount of anticipation and arousal. ‘Good, she found me to be suitable for mating.’ He gave her the ghost of a smile and put his hands on her waist again.
“Just let me love you tonight little miko.” He whispered huskily.

* End Flashback *

It had happened inside a shrine, on sacred grounds. Yes, Sesshoumaru remembered it now…
