Chapter 2
“Inu Yasha?” cried Kagome.
Inu Yasha looked at her wondering what to do as Kagome rose to her feet jumping into Inu Yasha’s arms hugging him for all she was worth. Sango was getting jealous and turned to walk Inu Yasha and Kagome into Inu Yasha’s room.
“Kagome?” whispered Inu Yasha.
She had been clinging on Inu Yasha for about ten minutes while Inu Yasha kept glancing form her to Sango, but Sango was getting pissed ‘he finally admits that he is starting to love me and she had to ruin it!’ Thought the agitated taijia.
“Inu Yasha why?” whimpered Kagome.
“Huh?” asked Inu Yasha.
“Why are you and Sango . . .” her voice trailed off as she realized Sango was in the room to.
It got quiet and Kagome whimpered as sleep over took her tired body, Inu Yasha set her down and covered her up.
“Inu Yasha?” asked Sango.
“Sango lets get some rest I can’t answer right now I am to tired” he replied.
“Ok she lay her head on Inu Yasha’s lap as Inu Yasha leaned against the wall watching Kagome sleep, and as Sango’s breathing began to slow Inu Yasha drifted off to sleep along with the girls.
Shippo awoke and felt for Kagome and his eyes shot open as he realized she was not there, the sun was just beginning to rise and the girls were nowhere to be found. Shippo had gotten Miroku and Kilala to help, and as they neared Inu Yasha’s room Inu Yasha smelt them coming and hopped up waking Sango and then Kagome.
Inu Yasha came out of his room, as Miroku was about to touch the door, Sango followed and Kagome with her head down. Miroku looked at the girls ‘why were they with Inu Yasha alone in his room!?’
Shippo looked at Sango confused ‘she smells like Inu Yasha again’ thought the kitsune but he knew that from experience that if he asked about it Inu Yasha would hit him on the head.
Kagome kept her head down because she didn’t know what to do or say ‘my best friend hates me and is having sex with Inu Yasha, but Inu Yasha loves me, what am I supposed to do?’ she thought.
“Inu Yasha?” she finally asked.
Sango glared at her and Inu Yasha turned “yeah?”
“I want to go home please” she kept her head down.
“Kagome . . .” started Inu Yasha.
“Kagome come with me,” demanded Sango.
Inu Yasha looked at her as she dragged Kagome away, Miroku and Shippo stared at the scene wondering what was going on.
When Sango had gotten far enough from the ‘guys’, she turned to Kagome.
“I need to know right now why you have to ruin what I have worked two years for!” demanded Sango.
“W-What?” whimpered Kagome.
“I have worked two years ever since I met Inu Yasha to get him to love me” she said “but the night he admits he is starting to love me you have to ruin it” Sango began to cry as she slumped to her knees.
Kagome did not know what to do or say so Sango spoke again.
“I am tired of every time you hurt him emotionally and physically, I can’t stand the look in his eyes” she sobbed “but he comes to me at night, yet every morning he has forgiven you and is at your side!”
Kagome was shocked “Sango I don’t know what to say”
Sango couldn’t answer any longer she was crying hysterically and Kagome sat down and pulled her to her lap and stroked her hair.
“I’m sorry Sango” she began “I love Inu Yasha to but I don’t want to hurt you”
Sango looked at her wondering what was to be said next.
“I love you like a sister Sango but I don’t know what to do” Kagome began to cry, “I want to be with Inu Yasha, but I don’t want you to have to suffer because he loves me”
The two girls were crying together, not noticing a little pink bubble above them.

They looked as Shippo landed next to them “why don’t you both be Inu Yasha’s mates?” asked Shippo.
The two girls looked at him and wondered what he had heard.
“S-Shippo!?” asked Sango.
Shippo explained that Inu Yasha could have more than one mate, and Sango spoke again, “I don’t care what I have to do as long as I am with Inu Yasha.” Sango said sniffling.
“I don’t know,” said Kagome wondering if she could share Inu Yasha “I want to go home and think about it” and with that, she stood up and helped Sango up, both girls followed by Shippo headed back to the ‘guys’.
“Inu Yasha?” cried Kagome.
