Obedience
Tyrinn bolted through the dark forest, slightly panting from her long run. She sniffed the air to make sure that she hadn't awakened any of her wolf tribe and they were following. Finding no living thing within miles of her, she continued her running towards the village. She knew her brother, his mate, and their friends were staying in their own camp just inside the forest by the village.
Tyrinn had snuck out lat in the night from the den. Koga had been rather on edge lately, having her always stay within his sight, save for when he went out hunting, and he would have her stay in sight of some of the wolf demons in the pack. She suspected it was because of the attack from Naraku a few weeks ago when he had shot her with an arrow in her right shoulder. Inuyasha had shown up with his own small 'pack' and had ended up saving his sister, Tyrinn. Koga had been furious with himself for not being there to save her and at her for leaving their lands.
A campfire glowed just up ahead and she ran faster, eager to get warmer from the chilly night breeze. She skidded to a stop as she reached the camp, panting as she looked around.
Inuyasha held Kagome on his lap, wrapped in her sleeping bag, and Sango and Miroku were asleep on opposite sides of the fire. Exhausted, Tyrinn collapsed beside her brother, curling up under the bottom of the blanket he had over him and partway over his mate.
Inuyasha yawned, cracking his jaw as he awoke. He nuzzled his mate's neck, waking her up, smirking as she curled up into a ball on his lap, murming something about five more minutes.
Inuyasha felt a growl start in his throat as he saw the lump in the bottom of Kagome's sleeping bag and blanket. She was all the way on his lap and all of their friends were in his sight. He sniffed the air, catching the scent of Koga, then relaxed as he smelled the stronger scent of his sister. He pulled the blanket off of the bulge to see his whimpering sister curled up in a tight ball, shaking in the cold air now that the blanket was moved.
