Chapter two: The Priest, the Dogboy, and the modernday Witch


Back at the camp Sango, Miroku and Shippo went about their daily activities. Shippo had pouted all day long about Kagome's absence. Sango had gone out with Kilarra and Shippo after lunch for demon extermination in the next town east, a rat youkai had been eating peoples rice crops and Sango went, although Miroku had tried to talk her into letting him come along for "protection", but Sango insisted she would handle it. Miroku sighed to himself, but turned as he heard Inuyasha approaching. He couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the vixen walking alongside him with 2 large bags in hand.
"Miroku!" Inuyasha called to him as he approached. But Miroku completely ignored him, and in a flash he was by Sandra's side relievieing her of her heavy bags.
"Wow," Sandra said. "There are lots of hot guys here, Kagome didn't tell me that."
"This is Kagome's friend Sandra, Miroku. So behave yourself." Inuyasha snarled. Miroku looked at him innocently.
"I don't know what you mean Inuyasha," he said."I always know how to treat a beautiful lady."
"Where are Sango and the others?" Inuyasha asked.


"So, Sango and the others will be back in 2 days." Miroku finished explaining. "Are you sure you will be able to break the barrier, Sandra?"
"I should" Sandra said, and fiddled with the large crystal that hung from her neck. "However, it may take some time...."
"Just how much time are we talking here?" Inuyasha said, he was irritated again.
"Hopefully only 3 days or so..."
"WHAT? you kidding right? I thought you said you were strong???"
"Hmph. I AM strong, but do you wan to to rush through it and blow us all to hell? Didn't think so."
"Whatever.... what do we do first?"

Dusk. It had taken a little longer than Sandra had expected but, after 4 hours she managed to conjour what they needed. Inuyasha, Miroku and Sandra all approached the cave.
"Now what, Sandra?" Miroku asked. Inuyasha looked at her, her face was serious again.
"Now, You two get back so you don't die..." The wind suddenly began to blow with intensity. Clouds began to gather as Sandra began to chant.......
"I summon you, come to me..... hear my voice..... I summon you in the name of Satan and in the name of hell..." The wind blew more intensly as the blue crystal around her neck began to glow, her eyes blackened and the blue streaks in her hair turned to white. The ground began to shake. The barrier was fully visable now, Inuyasha could see it's purple light. Suddenly he felt a cold breeze wash over him...... Something was wrong.
"Sandra, Wait..." He started to walk towards her, but it was too late. A bolt oack ack light shot from the barrier straight into Sandra's crystal shocking her and hurling her back to the ground. And like that the wind was gone.

Inuyasha rushed to Sandra, but Miroku was already there. He was relieved when he was the girls cheast shallowly breathing.
"Uuunnggghhhhh..." Sandra opened one of her eyes. "What the fuck was that?!?!" She sat up and slowly tried to regain her footing. Inuyasha and Miroku watched amazed, How is she even standing after a hit like that? Miroku wondered..... Surely she does have great power....
"FUCK!" Sandra said angerly.
"Hua? Are you injured?" Inuyasha said.
"No no no," she said holding her focusing crystal in the moonlight so they all could see."Worse, the black aura has tainted my crystal." Inuyasha and Miroku both looked closer to see, sure enought the light blue crystal was blacked in the center with what looked like black blood.
"So wdoesdoes that mean?" Inuyasha asked.
"It means.....I can't go home...." Her voice sounded sad.
"What?" Miroku said "Ever?"
"I will be able to go home once my crystal is blue again and shines with my aura."
"Oh okay so all you have to do is make it blue again and you can try again..." Sandra shook her head.
"It's not that simple....it may take another 2 days for my crystal to return to it's natural state." she sighed. "But I guess I have no choice."
"Oh that's okay." Miroku chirped in. "You can stay here with me...in my bed..." he grined at her wickedly and draped his arm around her, taking in his golden opportunity to run his hand down her soft ass.
"Ohh.." Sandra squealed. Inuyasha expected her to slap Miroku like Sango or Kagome would, but instead all she did was grin more devilish than he was.
"Sorry, Monk, but now is not the time...." Sandra reached down with her own hand and with one quick motion slapped Miroku on his ass with a loud SMACK! Miroku yelped in complete shock and his cheeks turned bright red as she passed by him headed towards camp.
Inuyasha just watched her go, I can't believe she got Miroku to blush he chuckled to himself before following after her leaving Miroku there with his jaw still open.

Back at the camp Sandra immediatly headed for the hot spring saying something about how it was "dirty" not to bathe everyday. Inuyasha and Miroku sat by the fire. The night was calm and cool ane ste stars lighted the night sky, Inuyasha found himself thinking of Kagome, wondering if she was thinking of him. He shuddered as he thought of Kagome's last words to him before she stomped off. Sandra was much different from Kagome and he wondered to himself how the two could be friends. Finally Miroku broke the silence.
"Inuyasha," he said. "Sandra has been gone for some time do you think maybe you should go check on her?"
"Keh! I am sure she can handle herself..." he said.
"All the same I think I will go, she might need help washing her back....."
"Don't you DARE you perverted priest!" Inuyasha snarled. Miroku raised one eyebrow.
"Why do you care all of a sudden about Sandra?" he pryed. Inuyasha Felt his face flush and turned his eyes away. Why was he acting so possessive? Was this what Kagome was talking about?
"Fine. whatever..." Inuyasha finally said. "But don't come crying back to me when she turns you into a toad."

Sandra relaxed as she sank down in the hot spring. She left her clothing and bag close to the waters edge so that she could grab it quickly if needed. She swam out alittle a came to rest by a small rock. She sighed. How could I have been so careless? she thought to herself. Her hand holding her crystal tightly, she closed her eyes. I can't believe I was so reackless... What if Kagome had been there.... she might have killed them all.
"Damnit all...." she said to herself. Nextime I wont fuck up. She wondered to herself how Kagome found the inner strength to come back here all the time. A sound in the bushes near by brought her back to reality.

"You Dirty Priest..." he said, but couldn't hold in his devilish grin. "How was she?" Miroku chuckled and licked his lips.
"I can still taste her...."
"Really?"
"If your so interested in how it went maybe you should go next time..." Miroku chuckled again.
"Hmmph!" inuyasha snorted. "Maybe I will."
