Cienna's trial
Cienna quickly got dressed and ran out the hut. " Sango, wait I'm coming." She ran up to her Aunt and her mentor. "I am ready."
"Are you sure you are ready for this?" Sango took in the sight of the young lady before her. Her niece was a beautiful woman. 'She reminds me of myself. Just like me she chose the life of a demon slayer. She chooses to be alone.' In many ways Cienna resembled the middle aged Sango. They had the body build and she resembled her not only in manner but in looks as well. 'But in some ways you could see her mother.' "Come we must hurry."
"Right, did the villagers say what kind of demon it was?" Cienna latched her chakram onto her belt.
"They believe it to be a snake demon." Sango shouted for Kirara. They climbed on the cats back and rode to the village.
Sesshomaru stood on the outskirts of his land. Years had passed since he'd came to this part of the western lands. Not since she had left. Over twenty years since that day. He had decided it best for the human child Rin to grow among her own kind. Naraku had been defeated so he left her with his brother and that woman slayer. He refused to see her. He, Sesshomaru, would not show that kind of weakness. He could not let a human slow him down. He did what was best for her and him. He had discarded the first human to show him anything but fear. " Jaken."
"Yes, my lord." Jaken ran to his masters side. "Are we leaving?"
"Come."
