Chapter 18:

Inutaisha awoke the next morning rather early and decided to take a walk for a few minutes before waking up Kagoru. She walked a little ways into the forest then rounded a tree to go back. "How dare you." Her sister's voice broke through her solitude.

"How dare I what?"

"You're mating with a common human."

"Kagoru isn't common Sessha and last I heard I don't need your permission to pick my mate."

"Your muddying our blood even more."

"Last time I heard, sister dear, i'm a half demon and my blood is already 'muddied' so what's the difference?"

"You can't mate him."

"Watch me."

"Sister you're being foolish. You and your love for this human."

"Whats the matter? Can't stand that i'm associated with you and i'm mating a human?" She paused and looked at her sister. "Go to hell and leave me be. I've had enough of you. Disown me if you want. You're not going to make me do anything. So stop trying to."

Walking back to the camp she became even angrier when she saw Kimi inching her way to where Kagoru slept. "You better back off wolfie." Her eyes glowed a dangerous red as she pulled Kimi away from her mate. "You must have a hole in your damned head otherwise you would know not to mess with my mate!"

"I was just going to talk to him mutt."

"Yeah right." She replied, at this Kagoru woke from his sleep. He scrambled to stand up at hearing Inutaisha's angry voice.

"Inutaisha." He interrupted the two girls. "Please. Now is not the time to fight."
She pulled him against her and snarled while letting go of Kimi. "You know you're the only one for me."

Her eyes returned to normal. "Thank you. She kissed his lips softly while Kimi watched in astonishment. This made Inutaisha happy to no extent. After kissing him she pulled him along with her to wake up the others. "See you later Kimi."
