Too confusing

“Where is the Miko,” Lena asked again, irritation in her voice. Taijina and Tasshomaru just sat and stared like they had been since the advisors entered the room. Cho and Fu had remained silent, as Lena daughter of Linh spoke. While she may have taken her spot after her mother’s mysterious death, Lena did not have her mother’s key manipulation tactics. “I’ll ask again. Where is the younger brother’s whore!!!”

“You will curve your tongue when you speak of InuYasha’s intended,” Taijina growled, as she stood. Lena gave a growl of her own and ended up with a hard slap across her face from Taijina. While Taijina could never get one over on Linh on her own, she had devised a plan a hundred years ago to have her daughter take care of her. She never knew Lena would be so infuriating when she took her murdered mother’s place. “The girl shall speak to you when the Lord deems her ready. As the Lord is currently absent I, his Lady, shall express his wishes. Those wishes are for you to leave her alone. Now leave.”

“We are the advisors,” Lena growled back at Taijina. “And we will do as we please!”

The advisors wore their traditional black robes, Fu and Cho remained by the door, as the temperamental Lena got into the face of their Lady. This wouldn’t end well. Last time Lena engaged in a heated conversation with Taijina it ended up with her hair being shaved off. It had been a blow to Lena whose long flowing silver hair had been her pride. The hair had just grown back enough to touch her shoulders.

“And I am the Heir to these lands,” Tasshomaru replied standing. The blue crescent moon on his forehead was proof enough he was the heir, but unlike his father he had the silver stripes of his mother. “You were told once in the past you advise and nothing more. Now Advisor Lena here is once again trying to anger the Lady of the West. This will not do, especially since she is with pup. You will leave now or the consequence shall be deadly for you Lena. And since you have no heir, the advisors shall be down to just two.”

“How dare you disrespect me so,” Lena fumed.

“It’s moments like these I actually miss Linh,” Fu sighed, seeing Cho enjoy the exchange. Knowing he was the only on who would diffuse the situation before it got worse, he approached Lena. “Lena compose yourself and act like an advisor. Not like you are some common demon with no mind for authority.”

“I’d be careful with whom you choose side with Fu,” Lena threatened as she stormed out, Cho followed her out. Fu turned back to his sister.

“At least I gave you warning,” he joked, giving her a small smile.

“It would be more useful if you got that beast under control,” Taijina replied, seating herself once more.

“May I remind you dear sister,” Fu laughed, as Taijina’s eyebrows creased together at his word. “You are the one who unleashed this holy mess upon us.”

“And to remind you dear brother,” Taijina hissed. “I can still kick your ass.”

“So who is your mother?” Kagome asked Celina as a pink haired rabbit demon served them tea. Shippo sat on the floor coloring in the books given to him by the rabbit Youkai at Kagome’s request.

“Lady Taijina,” Celina replied sipping her tea. She sat in the chair across from Kagome, her bare feet tucked underneath her. Looking to the door Ash had return with an angry scowl on her face. “Can’t handle the eastern lord?”

“You know damn well I can,” Ash huffed, as she leaned against the closed door. “You are just better at it.”

“Never leave a human to do a demoness job,” Celina sighed as she stood, her silver dress falling to her knees. She made her way to the door, and Ash opened it for her and gave a mock bow.

“My lady,” Ash said, sarcasm dripping off her.

“Don’t make me hurt you,” Celina growled as she left, slamming the door behind her. Ash let out a laugh as she seated herself in Celina’s seat.

“She’s just like her ma,” Ash laughed, then looked at Kagome. “So you are the Kagome InuYasha and the Eastern Lord speak so fondly of.”

“You know InuYasha?” Kagome ask hopefully, she needed to know if he had mated.

“Yep,” Ash said as she picked up Celina’s tea. “That pup has waited 500 years for this day to come. Now all he needs to do is get his and that brother of his butt home. Taijina is having a fit that they are late.”

“He waited,” Kagome muttered to herself. “That could mean…”

“He is not mate,” Ash replied, clearing her doubts. “I do believe the morning after I first left the western lands, maybe 5 years since you were expelled from our time. Wow, that must have been only ten hours ago for you. Anyway, Kikyo came to the castle to bring InuYasha to hell with her. I believe it was one of the memories I should you?”

“You mean the dream?” Kagome asked, as she thought back to her strange dream. Then it hit her, the memory came to her that Ash had given her. “He turned her away.”

“Yes,” Ash smiled. “You must be a powerful Miko to receive my visions so clearly. I must say I am impressed.”

“Oh,” Kagome replied, no longer paying attention to Ash. She was thinking about InuYasha. He had been waiting for her for 500 years. It was more then she could hope for, but did her truly have no other relationships with women. Also if he waited so long why wasn’t he here? “Where the hell is he!?!?”

“Can you not sense their approach?” Ash asked, as she stood. “InuYasha and Sesshomaru are returning from their battle with the demonesses. You shall see him soon.”

“How dare they! How dare she! How dare any of them!!” Taijina growled as she paced in the room. She had been doing that for over two hours now, since the advisors had left. Tasshomaru had not left his seat, and just sat in silence as he watched her pace. “They have no right! That bitch wouldn’t have gotten anywhere without me! I made her and I can damn well break her! Stupid moronic bitch! I should have killed he…”

“Just what are you ranting about now,” Sesshomaru asked as he entered the room. Tasshomaru stood up and bowed as his father entered. Moving out of his bow, Taijina realized how much they were similar. If it wasn’t for the blond streaks in his hair, he would be an exact copy of Sesshomaru, that and he had her nose. Realizing they were both staring at her, she willed her mind to think back to the last this said.

“Lena, what else,” Tasshomaru snorted as he walked out of the room.

“They where here?” he growled as he stared back at his mate. She turned from his gaze and went to the window. Staring out she tried to compose her thoughts, although it wasn’t working very well. “I asked you a question.”

“Yes,” she sighed, keeping her eyes looking out at the garden. Her claws gripped the window sill. “If you must know the advisors had been here, and I handle it. They left moments ago. Where is InuYasha?”

“He caught the sent of the Miko as soon as we entered,” Sesshomaru replied, moving towards her. He placed his hands on her shoulders, the other arm had grown back over the years. “What bothers you mate?”

“Nothing at all,” she huffed as she shrugged out of his grasp, and moved away from him. They had played this game many of times through out the years, neither winning. She would never admit she loved him, just lay with him when she was in heat. After all they did produce two beautiful pups, and one more was on the way. That didn’t give him any right to play with her heart.

“Where is Celina,” Sesshomaru asked, trying to change the subject.

“Maybe she is with that wolf she fancies,” Taijina huffed sarcastically. The next thing she knew he had bolted from the room. The weight of her words finally fell upon her. Shrieking as she ran from the room after him. “Oh shit! I think I just signed Lord Koga’s death certificate!”
