Chapter 19: Playing

All Kagome could do was stare. Her mate and Yasha were rolling around on the floor, grappling like little puppies! First Yasha would reach out and grab Sess’s arm, and yank him forward, trying to jump onto his back. But Sess would roll, and send Yasha tumbling. They were both growling playfully at each other.

“Well,” Kagome said, holding in her laughter. “It’s a good thing that I had the kitchen renovated, and the walls pushed back to make more room in here, otherwise, you boys would have destroyed my furniture.” She finished with a grin on her face to take any sting out of her words.

Both Inu’s looked up at her from the floor, panting in exhilaration. Neither really knew how the mock fight had started, they both explained after they had jumped to their feet. They had been sitting at the table, drinking their coffees, discussing their past and how they would grapple together as pups, and before they really knew what happened, they were rolling on the floor, trying to pin each other.

“So you mean to tell me,” Kagome started playfully, a smile on her face as she got the coffee pot, and poured everyone a cup before replacing the pot and sitting down next to her mate. “That my mate and his brother were so overjoyed to once again be on amicable terms, that you just had to show this affection by chasing each others tails? In my kitchen?” Kagome snorted, having problems holding in her laughter.

Both males looked a little sheepish. “Kagome, what do you say we go and take a little drive today?” Sesshomaru said, ignoring her question, hoping to divert her attention. “We could go downtown and check out the stores, see how fast we can max out one of my credit cards, hmm?” he enticed her.

Yasha just looked at his brother like he was insane. ‘Imagine, he is dumb enough to offer to a female to help him max out a credit card.’ He chuckled internally. ‘He is about to get a shock. Kagome doesn’t like to shop. She and I used to go out, and it was like pulling teeth to try and get her to pick something out so he could buy it for her.’

“Alright.” Kagome agreed. Yasha about fell out of his chair. “Hey! I had a hell of a time to try and get you to go out with me so I could but you something! How come you are agreeing so easily to him?” he asked bewildered.

Kagome looked at him like he was more than a few bricks shy of a load. She gave a small smile. “He is my mate. I will do what I can to make my mate happy, and if that means that I have to go shopping with him, than I will go shopping with him. It is my duty as his mate to ‘obey’ him.” She turned her smile to Sesshomaru. “If, of course, the offer stands?”

Sesshomaru looked at Kagome and noticed a sparkle of mischief in her eyes. “Of course. I would not have offered if not to follow through.” He replied smoothly. ‘What have I gotten myself in to?’ He wondered. ‘Doesn’t really matter though, I have only one goal in mind today, well two really. But the other can wait until later.’ He thought with a lecherous smirk, recalling the sounds his mate made while in the throws of passion.

He thought back to this morning, not paying attention to the two bickering about her past behavior.

~ He felt a touch on his face and he opened his eyes. A predatory smile came across his face. “Good morning, my mate.” He rumbled, and pulled her closer to him. He bent his head and nuzzled at her lips. ‘They taste so good.’ He thought

Kagome groaned when his lips touched hers. “Good morning.” She replied, as she opened her mouth for his kiss. It started out gentle and soft, but soon turned to demanding and hunger filled.

Sesshomaru rolled her on top of him, his hands now roaming her back and ass. He released her lips to trail them down her neck to her mark. He sucked on the crescent moon that had appeared to show his claim on her. * Mine. * His beast moaned in pleasure.

“Ride me.” He growled, shifting his hips to give her a better understanding of his demand. He needed to be inside her, now.

Kagome looked down at him. He could tell that she didn’t immediately grasp what he said, but she understood the action. She shimmied a little on his lap to tease him, and sat up. It appeared that she wanted to have him inside of her as badly as he wanted to be inside. The little minx decided to tease him some more, and she slowly trailed her hand down her body to touch her sex.

He growled when she lifted herself and gently touched his cock and pumped some. He pushed his hips up. She smiled seductively down at him, and guided his erection to her entrance.

Kagome slowly slid down his length until he was fully seated within her. They both groaned at the contact. Sesshomaru was waiting for her to move, so he lifted his hips to push himself further into her. She groaned and lifted herself, setting a leisurely pace. While undulating she leaned down and captured his lips with hers, torturing them both.

“Faster.” He begged in a growling voice, lifting his hips more, and pulling her down faster with his hands on her hips. Kagome obliged by not only moving faster, but also coming down harder on him.

Sesshomaru moaned and bucked his hips harder. She felt so good. Kagome screamed his name as this pushed her over the edge, and he followed after a quick pump, spilling his seed inside her.

His beast roared in his mind in pleasure.

Kagome slumped down on his chest, breathing hard. He tenderly moved her hair of her face, and kissed her forehead. “Sleep now, my love. It is still early.” He whispered, as he wrapped his arms around her listening to her slowing breaths, and then fell asleep himself. ~

“What do you think Sesshomaru?” Inu Yasha asked.

He came back to the conversation. He glanced at his mate, than over to his brother. He could tell from the smirk on his mates face as well as the one on Yasha’s to know that they both had caught him in his daydream.

“What ever you decide is best, my love.” He said smoothly. Kagome’s smirk grew to a large smile. She realized that her mate wasn’t listening to their conversation, but it was to her benefit in the end. * To our benefit really. * Sakura said.

“Then it is settled. Inu Yasha will stay here and look at what ingredients he needs, and we will come back later for dinner. He will grab the groceries that he needs as we are down town. We are going to celebrate that you two have made up, again.” She giggled at the slightly bewildered look on her mates face.

Sesshomaru looked at Yasha in surprise. “You can cook?”

Kagome gave a very un-ladylike snort, as Yasha’s smirk turned to a frown. “Of course I can cook, you idiot! And I can cook real damn great too, as you will find out tonight. When Kagome and I were talking just now,” he smirked, knowing Sess wasn’t paying any attention. “We were discussing our favorite foods, plus yours from when you were younger. So I will try my hand at making some things. I’m not sure about how to make one or two, but it can’t be that hard. So as a mating gift, I will cook dinner for you two tonight.”

Kagome stood up and grasped Sesshomaru’s hand. “Come on. Let’s go. I can’t wait to see how our tastes in clothing differ.” She said as she pulled on his hand again.

Sess sighed as he got to his feet. He had a funny sinking feeling about tonight’s dinner. ‘And all I wanted was a quiet dinner with my mate, and some steamy sex for desert.’ He sighed again mentally in defeat as he followed his mate out of the kitchen.
