 Naraku's Devious Plot

"So Inuyasha and Kagome are going to have a child?" Inazuma asks

"Yes, I saw the life pattern" Kronos says

"How long before Inuyasha, Shippo, and myself should be able to smell it?"

"About a week"

"Ok"

Chapter 19: Telling Mrs. Higurashi

Inuyasha jumps out the well carrying Kagome, and places her on the ground. "Well, we're here, in my time again" Kagome says.

"Yeah" Inuyasha says "I guess we should head toward the house, huh?"

"Sounds about right" Kagome answers before they head that way. They enter the house "Mom, Souta?"

"Kagome? Is that you?" Mrs. Higurashi asks coming from the kitchen "Oh, it is, and Inuyasha too"

"Hi, mom" Kagome says. Inuyasha just nods.

"What brings you back here?" Mrs. Higurashi asks "Not that I mind. I just didn't expect to be seeing you anytime soon"

"Well, we came back to tell you something" Kagome says

"Oh, what's that?"

"We've decided to start a family" Kagome says "I should be pregnant, right now"

"I'm happy for you, but how are you going to pay for the things you need from this time?"

"I never thought of that"

"Well you should of, cause you're going to need money to see a doctor, or at least I imagine you'll want to see a doctor"

"Well, I think I have enough money left to see a doctor, but after that, I don't know"

"You'll figure out something" Mrs. Higurashi says "Will you help me make a doctor's appointment?

" "Sure"

"Go ahead" Inuyasha says "I'll wait here"

"Ok" Kagome says before heading off with her mother.

"Great, now what do I do?" Inuyasha asks

As if on command, Kagome's Grandfather walks in, "Inuyasha, just the half-demon I was looking for"

"What, you going to try to kill me, old man?"

"Please, call me grandpa, you are married to Kagome now"

"So that means you don't intend to kill me?"

"No, I find that I've grown weak in my old age, and can't carry as much as I use to"

"In other words, you need me to do some heavy lifting for you"

"Yes"

"Sure, why not?" Inuyasha says and they head off.

A little while later, Kagome comes back and looks around for Inuyasha, but doesn't see him. "Inuyasha?" she calls out.

About a minute later, he enters into the room "What's up?"

"Where were you?"

"Your grandfather needed some heavy lifting done" Inuyasha answers "I helped"

"That was nice of you

"It was nothing"

"Well, mom helped me set up a doctor's appointment, it's in a few weeks. I'm just not sure how we're going to pay for it

" "We'll do it Kagome, don't worry"

"I think we should stay here until after my appointment"

"Sounds good to me"

"Thank you"

"For what?"

"Agreeing, it's sweet of you"

"Keh!"
