Song of My Soul

Part Nineteen

Kagome moaned into Inuyasha’s mouth as he stepped into the heated water. His tongue slid over her teeth tasting ever bit of her. He never wanted to lose this again and if he had anything to say about it then it wouldn’t ever happen. When they finally broke the kiss they were both out of breath. He was still sheathed securely with in her warmth but had not moved any accept to enter the pool. He loved the feel of her around him. The heat was only adding to sensation he was already feeling. Carefully he sat on a smooth flatrock near the side so that the water level was just below Kagome’s breast. The steaming water lapped over her full melons giving them a floating effect. To his amusement they looked like jiggly mounds of flesh that carelessly floating about waiting for someone to grab. He refrained from saying anything about it though knowing she would get embarrassed then mad.

“Oh dear God you feel so good.” She mumbled as her lips attacked his chest with little butterfly kisses.

“Mmm..you do too.” He moaned relishing the attention. One clawed hand slid lazily down her back and clutched her bottom pulling her forward in one quick movement so his fully erect member could fill her completely causing a gasp from her. He chuckled at the moan but found himself moaning and groaning with her as she began to nibble and bite his shoulder and neck. She knew just where to touch in order to take control of the situation and he loved ever minute of it.

“I could stay like this for a while.” Kagome nuzzled his chest with her cheek. The thought brought a smile to his lips but he knew as well as she did they had something they needed to take care of. His fingers slid under her chin raising her face to look at him. Her blue eyes were hooded slightly from relaxation, the bangs on her forehead clung to her damp skin as tendrils clung to the side of her face framing the creamy skin that seemed to glow. The sight left him awestruck and his eyes softened just looking into her dream filled face.

“Me too.” His eyes scanned her face lovingly as he wiped a few hairs from her mouth. Impulsively he leaned down placing a tender kiss on her slightly swollen lips. What started out as a chaste kiss soon turned into a much more heated demanding one. His clouded mind couldn’t have told you who was at fault and frankly he didn’t care. After bracing herself securely on her knees she began to slide up and down his pole slowly with her hands on his shoulders to balance better. First she would raise up enough to just about remove him from inside her then agonizingly slid down all the way to the hilt. The action was driving him crazy but he knew how much she liked to have control of their love making sometimes so he pushed his more dominant side down for now. There were ways he could stir her senses wild enough she would willingly give up the control.

As she pumped slowly on his shaft, he put his hands and mouth to use. His right hand began to play with the nipple on her left breast gently working the nub into a hard little pebble then he began to pinch it harder until the blood rushed to it turning it an amazing deep reddish-brown color. When he was satisfied it was ready he flicked his tongue out tapping it then sliding it around the circle soothing the irritated tip. She sighed and ran her fingers through his wet silver locks pulling his head closer to her while keeping up her rhythm. A shiver ran through her as his fangs slid gently from her breast up her chest and to the mating mark he placed on her so long ago.

He began to suck on it then nip it sending shocks through her body that caused her to lose some of her rhythm. She shook as every nerve in her body came alive. Finally she began to work her hands all over his body rubbing feverishly. His own hands were now latched onto her hips helping her bounce up and down on his steel penis faster then before. She sucked in a breath sharply then gasped out his name in a small cry of pleasure. His ears flicked forward relishing every sound she made.

In a sudden movement he pulled her completely off him as he stood and turned her around so her back was to him. Before she even realized what was going on he impaled her again holding her around the waist with one arm and the other closer to her chest to keep her from falling in the water. He began to thrust into her with more ferocity. She panted out his name over and over in pleasured moans. His beast was painfully holding back from just pushing her forward so he could pound harder and deeper.

“Inu...yasha...” she was barely able to say between pants, “the...shore....me....lean...now....” she went on as a groan escaped her. “Harder..deeper....” She gasped when he suddenly had her where she wanted. He didn’t hold back now that she wasn’t in danger of drowning. His beast took control with a feral growl as he complied with her wishes. “A...a...a...a...” She groaned with each thrust. He could feel the heat building faster now. He knew she was close to her completion but wanted just a little more before she went over the edge so he pressed both knees between hers then side stepped both spreading her legs farther apart. Leaning over her so his chest was on her back he clasped his hands over hers and pulled them closer to her chest under them so she could hold herself up then thrust into her hard.

She screamed his name again as he managed to reach new depths within her womb with each stroke sending renewed pleasure through her scorching her very soul. Her body began to tremble from the built up pressure inside her. Then with a growl his fangs sank into the mating mark and her world exploded before her eyes. A bright light consumed them both as they climaxed at the same time with that one hard thrust. She could have sworn his penis seemed to grow in size at that moment and fill her more then she had ever felt before.

It was the most erotic sensation in her life. When the light faded she could feel him still inside her and the feeling was not an illusion. Her womb felt completely full with a wonderful warm heat that was quickly spreading through her body. The next thing she noticed was his heaving chest. The tight skin on his chest slid gently across her back from their sweat. His hands still held hers tightly against her chest so his arms were wrapped firmly around her shoulders and arms. His warm breath blew on the side of her neck with each breath that left his heated body.

She tried to move her head so she could see him and that is when she felt the pain of the mark. His fangs were still embedded in her shoulder deeply. A gasp escaped her lips but the warning growl from him told her not to move. He pushed into her womb a little more eliciting another flow of electric white shock to flow through her body causing her to orgasm again and she scream his name. After coming down from that she whimpered in submission not knowing if she could withstand another intense orgasm like that. He breathed in her scent and his growl changed, she could have sworn he started to purr. A vibration from his chest on her back began to fill her calming her nerves quickly. This little trip had definitely turned out to be more then she hoped for.


She wasn’t even sure how long they stayed like that but every time she moved he would push into her again causing the torturous orgasm to flow through her body weakening her resistance. Not that she was complaining really it was a wonderful feeling that he seemed to be able to beacon when ever he wanted to but it was annoying. It was almost like he was teaching her a lesson but then if she really took the time to think about it then she would realize it was normal for him to be dominant. He was dog demon after all. Males ran the pack in a canine world but her mind kept telling her that she read somewhere that the female ran the pack and the males only thought they were dominant. Another quick thrust ripped her from her thoughts and the white light consumed her again. ‘What? Can he read my mind now?’ She fumed. In reluctance she finally gave in and remained unmoving for as long as it took.

After an eternity of laying there like that his fangs finally left her shoulder and his once swollen member shrank down to where she didn’t feel so full anymore. Slowly he pulled away causing both of them groaning. Sadly she felt a bit empty now but in another way her body felt excitement too. He licked her ear gently then nipped her earlobe. “I didn’t hurt you did I?” He asked while gently brushing hair from the side of her face. She shook her head no unable to come up with words to explain how she was feeling.

Inuyasha watched her closely. He was a bit worried when she didn’t answer him with words. After his beast took over he could remember little of what happened. Not that he didn’t enjoy it. He remembered feeling every bit of the pleasure but he never meant to soul bond her that way. In the back of his mind he chastised himself for it but again he thought his beast was only trying to protect her. He sighed and stepped back from her so she could get up. Surprisingly she slid down as if her legs couldn’t hold her up. He quickly grabbed her to keep her from going under the water and pulled her to him. Quilt began to consume him as he stepped back and sat on the same rock as before. This time she sat sideways on his lap leaning against his chest. Her body began to shiver and shake. He was convinced she was trying to hold back tears even though he didn’t smell any. Sighing he kissed her temple.

“Kagome, I...” He was having a hard time with this. He didn’t mean to hurt her but that is what he had done and he didn’t know how to fix it. As far as he knew a soul bonding was permanent. “I didn’t mean to hurt you. My...beast got out... of control...and..” He stuttered trying to hold back tears as the thought of losing her again crossed his mind. Instinctively his arms went around her tighter afraid to let go or she would disappear. His nose was buried in her hair, his eyes closed tightly praying to the heavens or who ever would listen for her to stay no matter what. A soft giggle filled his ears.

His eyes shot open. He blinked a couple of times then realized the giggling was coming from Kagome. ‘Oh god I drove her crazy.’ He gasped as his heart sank. He began to rock her back and forth in an effort to calm her. “Kagome? What’s wrong sweetheart?” He said frantically when she didn’t answer him. Her giggling started to become hysterical. She threw her head back laughing harder. Tears were streaming down her face. He frantically wiped them away. This was scaring the shit out of him. How would he explain this to everyone. ‘Oh well you see, I couldn’t control my beast and it performed a soul bonding with her that drove her crazy.’ He shook his head. They were going to purify him for sure. “Please Kagome stop this. You’ll be alright I’ll find a way to....” He started. The desperation in his voice was so urgent she stopped laughing and looked at him smiling.

He looked back at her with startled eyes filled with worry that was confusing to her but she felt so good she couldn’t let it or anything get her down right now. Suddenly she jumped up and knocked him backwards almost drowning them both in the water. He came up spitting and sputtering while she came up giggling like a fool again. Quickly he waded over to her and grabbed her by the shoulders. “Please, Kagome, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean for this to happen.” The pleading in his voice almost broke her heart. She could tell he was really worried. She calmed herself then took his face in her hands holding it tenderly.

“I’m fine Inuyasha.” She tapped him on the nose playfully. “That was wonderful. We’ve never...I mean it has never been....that is to say, it was totally different from any other time we’ve made love.” She giggled again at the emotions that flashed across his face. For the life of her, she couldn’t remember seeing that many at once. Relief washed over him then finally it sank in what she said and he grinded arrogantly.

“You liked that huh? Well it will be a pleasure to do it again any time you want but I warn you. The more times we soul bond the more I’ll know your thoughts and feelings.” He hugged her grateful she was ok. She hugged him back then stepped back so she could look him in the face. A small frown of concern reflected in her eyes he didn’t like. He could feel her uncertainty but the bond was still new and he knew it would take sometime for it to fully work. He also figured that since he was hanyou that the bonding may only be half as strong as a full youkai’s.

“Soul bonding? What is that?” She asked cautiously, not sure if she really wanted to know. He looked at her warily hoping she didn’t get mad and purify him.

“Well..um...you see, I lost control a little...and well...my beast took over for a bit there at the end.” He stammered, a clawed hand scratched the back of his neck while his eyes were wondering everywhere but on her. ‘Avoid eye contact. Avoid eye contact.’ He kept repeating to himself while he searched for words to explain it.

“Inuyasha?” Kagome’s sweet voice questioned. A slight bit of irritation filtering through. He looked up at her and that was his down fall. He sighed heavily, his ears drooped against his skull in complete defeat.

“Promise not to get mad at me first.” His eyes looked hopeful at her. She frowned and crossed her arms over her chest.

“Why are you being so vague about this? What the hell did you do?” She fumed. He cringed but stood his ground.

“I’m not saying anymore about it unless you promise not to get mad.” He pouted and crossed his arms across his chest too. She glared at him for a bit hoping it would break him of his resolve but it didn’t work. After a good 5 minute wait she threw her hands up in the air in defeat.

“All right already. I promise. I just don’t understand what the big deal is. Geesh we just had mind blowing sex and now you act like it was the worse thing that could have happened between us.” She brushed a tear away clearly upset by all this. He quickly stepped forward and wrapped her in a loving embrace.

“It’s not that it’s terrible. It’s just that it’s custom to ask the other party before performing it. I don’t want you to be mad at me because of the circumstances behind it.” He swallowed when she stiffened.

“What circumstances are yo getting at?” She demanded with a scowl. “And stop beating around the bush. I’m tired of this little game.” She huffed but he smiled and pulled her closer. She was already acting a bit like him.

“A little impatient are we?” She narrowed her eyes and smacked him on the arm. He chuckled then hugged her tighter. “Alright, I’ll tell you.” His mind was still searching for the best words. After some thought he believed straight forward would be the easiest. “Well basically, my beast took control and soul bonded with you.” She started to say something but he shushed her. “You want me to explain then save questions for last.” He stated profoundly. Her bottom lip stuck out in a pout but she nodded. He couldn’t resist leaning down and kissing that pout then nibbling on her bottom lip. She moaned and returned the kiss with more aggression then he was expecting. The heat began to build between them once again and even though he didn’t want to stop, he knew if he didn’t explain this now and it happened again then she would get even more angry. Finally he broke the kiss with a whimper from her but he placed a finger on her lips to hush her again.

“You wanted to know about Soul Bonding. If we don’t stop now then it could happen again. I want to make sure you understand what it is before that could happen.” She blinked but nodded acceptance. “Good. Soul Bonding is a way for a demon or demoness to share their power with their mate through the soul. Most demons don’t do it because demon mates feel they have chosen the strongest females for their mates. It’s more common for a demon to do it when they have mated with a hanyou or a human. Follow me so far?” She nodded so he continued. “I just want you to understand that I don’t feel you are weak. That wasn’t the purpose of it. I think what my beast was trying to do was make the bond so that I could feel what you are thinking. With the possibility of a battle coming soon it was my way to be sure I could protect you.” She started to protest but he put a hand over her mouth. “I know koi, you don’t think you need protection. But my biggest fear is being separated from you and not being able to know what is happening until it’s too late. I realize there may be a time when I can’t be there but with this I’ll always be able to find you no matter where you are.” She got a sorrowful look on her face.

“I kind of messed you up a bit by leaving last time didn’t I.” She hated herself for letting Naraku talk her into leaving like that. It was wrong. He gave her a hard look. Inuyasha was so proud. She knew he would never admit that he had been hurt that badly. He was silent for a long time. His eyes were staring off into some other place where she couldn’t read his thoughts. “I’m sorry.” She said finally. He turned back to her with a frown. Suddenly he pulled her into a bear hug and rested his chin on top of her head.

“It wasn’t your fault. I was to blame for everything that happened. Never once did I blame you for any pain I might have felt then. I can’t explain what was going through my head at the time. No matter how many times I thought about it, I couldn’t come up with any reason other then Kikyo asked me not to tell you about meeting with her because she was afraid you would tell Naraku. I should have trusted you more. I know you would never do anything to put her in danger. So you see there is no reason for you to apologize to me.” He nuzzled her hair with his nose and sighed. “The hardest part of it was the emptiness I felt when you were gone. At that time I couldn’t tell if you were dead or alive. The feelings were intensified by the mating. It was even more frustrating when Naraku wouldn’t tell me where you were. Now that I soul bonded with you, I’ll be able to feel your life force no mater where you are or how far away. Your soul will call out to mine drawing it to you so I’ll always be able to be there for you.” She hugged him tightly feeling the warmth that generated from him. He inhaled her sweet scent that was so mixed with his it was hard to decipher whose was whose. The grin that spread across his face was a bit arrogant but he didn’t care. She was his till the end of time the way it should be. Deep inside his heart he knew this is how it should have been from the start.
