Chapter Nineteen: Kyoko’s Last Decision
Disclaimer: I don’t own Inuyasha (this is like a chapter ritual. Its like a fricken chant!)
You know what I think? There isnt enough violence in this fanfic. I think, at the end, there is gonna be lots of blood. And someone emailed me telling me there werent enough lemons. Well you know what? WRITE YOUR OWN FANFIC AND STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT MINE! Can you tell I don’t like people saying what I should write?
Oh and by the way, this might be the last chapter. But look for the sequel! It’s good too!
I forgot what it was called…Rain of Blood I think…

Breakfast was only slightly better this morning. Kyoko and Inuyasha didn’t fight this time, which was good. Everyone was informed on what happened, and it was over.
Kyoko had chosen to wear her battle outfit and armor today. She said it made her feel like she had never died.
Naraku…
“Naraku what do you plan to do?” Kagura asked as Naraku stared into Kanna’s mirror still, very angry.
“Destroy all of them, once and for all.” He looked at her. “And you are going to help.”
Her eyes widened. ‘I can’t kill them…not Sesshoumaru at least…’
“Fine.” She stood and walked away.
‘Now that Kyoko has all of her memories back, and all of her strength, it won’t be as easy to get her. But I will not kill her. The death of her friends and family should be enough to convince her.’
He looked at his new creation sitting on the other side of the room. “Go. Get the little girl. That should bring them all here.”
Kyoko…
“Lady Kyoko!”
Kyoko looked back as Rin came running down the hall after her. She stopped, and Rin stopped in front of her.
“Lady Kyoko, would you play hide and seek with me? I need someone to play with. Shippou taught me how to play, but now he is busy.”
Kyoko smiled and nodded.
Sesshoumaru…
Sesshoumaru watched from his balcony as his mother pretended to not know where Rin was, to make her happy.
‘Mother you have such a kind heart. You tried to teach me how to be kind to others…but when you died, all of it shattered.’
Then it was Kyoko’s turn to hide, and when Rin found her, she ran slow enough for Rin to catch her.
Sesshoumaru smiled. He then looked away, and the next thing he heard was a scream. He looked down and saw that Rin was no longer there, and Kyoko was looking around calling her name.
He jumped down from his balcony.
Kyoko…
Kyoko ran slow as Rin chased her, and allowed the girl to tag her.
“Well Rin, you win again. You are really good at this game.”
Rin smiled a big smile. Suddenly, she screamed as a blur passed by and snatched her.
Kyoko’s eyes widened. “RIN!”
She saw Sesshoumaru jump down from his balcony.
“Mother what happened where’s Rin?”
The others all came out as well.
“Someone took her!”
Sesshoumaru growled. “Naraku…”
They were off in seconds. Chasing through the forest. Kyoko was the fastest, and it amazed them that she was faster than Sesshoumaru was.
After a few minutes, they reached a clearing, and then they saw Naraku’s castle.
“How could it be so close?” Kagome said.
Kyoko was not looking at that however. There was someone standing in the clearing.
It was a female youkai. She had waist length black hair, and black eyes. Her outfit, also black, appeared to Inuyasha and Kagome as a replica of Yura’s. She held to long knifes in her hands.
“The girl is inside,” she spoke with a flat emotionless voice. “But this battle, is for you and I Kyoko. They, will wait.”
Suddenly a red barrier surrounded the entire castle, going around the youkai and Kyoko, leaveing the others outside of it.
“If you defeat me, Naraku’s incarnation Shikyo, you may pass.”
Kyoko smiled and drew her sword, that radiated youki. “If you wish.”
Shikyo charged towards her and swung her blades down, and Kyoko blocked it. Kyoko then shot black youki at her from her other hand. Shikyo dodged it, and then swung at Kyoko again.
“How can she use Dark Youki?” Miroku asked. “She doesn’t have a dark heart.”
“My mother is a powerful Youkai. She surpasses me by far in her power and speed. She can use most any kind of energy, including Purification, though that thakes up her power.” Sesshoumaru answered.
Inuyasha growled. He drew tetsusaiga and it turned red. “Damn, Im gonna break that barrier.”
“Do not Inuyasha. She can handle this.”
Inuyasha just growled.
As Kyoko shot out poison from her claws, Shippou said, “She just melted a tree!”
Kyoko laughed. “You actually think you are stronger than me?” she said as she dodged more attacks. Then she shot purifying energy through Shikyo’s arm, causing her to fall to her knees.
Shikyo screamed. She glared at Kyoko before disappearing entirely.
As the barrier disappeared, everone ran towards Kyoko.
“She isn’t dead. Naraku saved her.” Kagome said.
Kyoko nodded.
“Look!” Sango said, pointing toward the castle doors.
They all looked. Naraku was walking out, very angry. He looked at Kyoko.
“Well well Kyoko. You found out Inutaisho’s secret. Well done.”
Kyoko glared at him.
“Unfortunately your luck has run out.”
Everyone except Kyoko backed away as Naraku began to grow tentacles and other gross limbs. (A/N: Naraku is just disgusting I don’t even know what to call those things he grows)
And the battle began…
Everytime one of Naraku’s limbs were cut off, he would just grow more. Even Kyoko’s blasts of Youki and other energies couldn’t stop him.
“What’s with this guy?!” Kyoko yelled.
For once in their lives, Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha were working together, using their power to try and destroy Naraku.
Suddenly Miroku was knocked out by a blow to the head.
‘Why is he so strong?!’
Then Kagura showed up. She was mainly battling Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru, but most of her attacks avoided Sesshoumaru.
Kyoko looked away toward Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha for a second, only to have a tentacle pierce her chest, right below her shoulder.
“Don’t lose focus now Kyoko…” Naraku laughed.
She glared at him and continued to cut him down.
She heard Kagome scream the second she was pierced.
‘What…the jewel!’
She concentrated as the shard in her heart appeared at the surface of her skin. She removed it and put it at her belt.
‘If I die again Kagome…I will make sure you don’t…’
Kyoko fell to her knees. She was getting exausted very fast. She was using purification powers, and that drained her energy.
Miroku was knocked out. Sango was doing her best to keep the Tentacles away with Hiraikotsu. Kagome was down, from her pierced shoulder and her broken leg from falling off Kirara. Inuyasha was struggling, covered in cuts as Kanna reversed his attacks that were directed at Kagura. Sesshoumaru was now trying to get Naraku as well. That’s when Kyoko noticed that they were all in the same area, and right in Naraku’s path. She watched as his hands began to glow, and Kagura and Kanna flew away on Kagura’s feather.
‘What’s he planning.’ Then her eyes widened ‘no…’
Naraku shot out a huge blast of energy.
Kyoko didn’t have time to think, as she ran as fast as she could. She wouldn’t let them die.
And she didn’t, as she caught the blast, head on, and redirected it toward the other direction. But not before it blasted right through her stomach, creating a huge hole.
Sesshoumaru wasn’t paying attention, as Naraku sent out a huge blast. He thought it was going to hit him and everyone else. But he saw his mother jump in front of it, catching it, and throwing it off somewhere. He also saw as it created a hole through her stomach and part of her chest.
“MOTHER!” He ran to her and caught her before she hit the ground. He held her as she was bleeding horribly, her eyes half open. “Mother don’t worry, you’ll be okay.”
She smiled weakly as blood came out of her mouth. “Sesshoumaru, when I died, you taught yourself to be emotionless. Please, for me, don’t be afraid to love…even if…it kills you…”
Her eyes closed as she breathed her last breath, a peaceful look on her face.
Naraku became angry. “That damn woman. Be warned, this isn’t over yet!”
And as Naraku and his castle disappeared, everyone looked to where Sesshoumaru was holding his dead mother, and for the first time anyone had ever seen, the Taiyoukai was crying.
And no one said a word…

AHHH POOR SESSHY!!! I nearly cried when I wrote the first chapter to the sequel in my notebook. It kinda starts from where this one left. Now I have to go get my notebook so I can start typing it. It should be out soon. Called Rain of Blood.
