"You are welcome" She says "Now, I must be off, don't tell Sesshamoru I told you about the mating or he'll never allow Shippo back here, fearing that you indeed would mate"

"Not a problem" Kagura leaves the room, leaving Rin to think about everything.

Chapter 18: Kronos's Discovery

Shippo sits in Inuyasha and Kagome's hut, thinking over everything that Myouga and Inuyasha had told him earlier that day. When he smells Kagome come close to the village. He gets up and goes outside and upon seeing her he jumps into her arms "You're back!"

"Yes, I returned Shippo" Kagome says putting him down.

Shippo turns to Sesshamoru "I'm sorry for offending you, Lord Sesshamoru"

"Apology accepted" Sesshamoru says "are you calling me Lord Sesshamoru cause of Rin?"

"Yes" Shippo answers "She told me that is what you should rightfully be called"

"Did she tell you why?"

"She said you are Lord of the western lands"

"That is correct" "So, am I allowed to come see Rin sometime?"

"Of course"

"Good" Kagome says "because I need to ask you to watch him for awhile"

"Why?" Sesshamoru asks

"Because me and Inuyasha have something's to do in my time, and he'd have more fun staying at your castle then being stuck here, in the village" Kagome answers

"Oh, please let me go, Lord Sesshamoru" Shippo begs "I was so bored when they left to get married"

"How long will you be gone?" Sesshamoru asks

"I figure a week or so" Kagome answers

"Very well" Sesshamoru says "Come on, Shippo"

"Yes, sir" Shippo says before going to Sesshamoru.

"Come get him when you return" Sesshamoru says before grabbing Shippo

. "Ok" Kagome says. Then Sesshamoru heads off with Shippo. She heads into the hut to find Inuyasha, only to find him not there. "Inuyasha?" Kagome calls out.

Nearby in Kronos and Inazuma's hut, they hear her. "Kagome's calling out for Inuyasha" Kronos says

"Why don't you go help her?" Inazuma asks

"Ok, I'll be back in a few minutes" Kronos says

"Ok" Inazuma says.

Kronos leaves the hut and heads to Kagome and Inuyasha's hut. "Kagome, everything ok?"

"I'm looking for Inuyasha" Kagome answers "I'm sure he can't be too far away" Kronos says

"Would you like me to help you look for him?"

"Sure, but how?"

"Well, I can see life patterns if I choose to. I'll just look for half-demon life patterns. Can't be too many around"

"Sounds good to me" Kronos looks around "Inuyasha's in Goshinboku, one question though"

"What's that?"

"Are you aware that you're pregnant?"

"We were hoping for that"

"Are you going to tell your mother?"

"Of course"

"Good" Kronos turns to walk away "Wait, you are aware that demonic pregnancies are shorter than normal human pregnancies by about 2 months, aren't you?"

"They are?" Kagome asks

"Opps, I guess you didn't know that"

"Well, thanks for telling me" Kagome sighs "I need to talk to Inuyasha"

"Ok" Kronos says as he walks toward his hut.

Kagome walks to Goshinboku "Inuyasha?" "Kagome"

Inuyasha says "I'm sorry"

"Sorry, for what?" Inuyasha hops out of the tree and hugs Kagome "I found out that demonic pregnancies are a bit shorter than normal human pregnancies I should've known before hand"

"It's ok, Inuyasha" Kagome says as she hugs him back

"You're not scared?"

"I'm over that already

" "How?"

"Kronos knows that I'm pregnant. Apparently our child already has a life pattern"

"Well, I guess we should tell your mother than"

"Yeah, and I need to see a doctor"

"If you say so" Inuyasha says "Where's Shippo anyway?"

"He's at your brother's"

"He's actually letting him stay there?"

"Yeah"

"Come on" Inuyasha says as he grabs Kagome and heads toward the well.

Back at Kronos and Inazuma's hut. "So Inuyasha and Kagome are going to have a child?" Inazuma asks

"Yes, I saw the life pattern" Kronos says

"How long before Inuyasha, Shippo and myself should be able to smell it?"

"About a week"

"Ok"
