Naraku's Revenge

Chapter 18 (Sesshomaru’s P.O.V)

Michael helped me to the birthing room while my mate followed behind us. The healer was already there waiting for me. I can’t believe that Naraku would actually try and pick a fight with Inuyasha when I could go into labor at any second. If he ever does anything as stupid as this again I’ll personally see to it that he never see his heir or mate again. I am laid on the bed and my clothes are removed. I felt vulnerable but at the same time I can’t wait until this child is out of me. A sheet is thrown over the top half of my body before the healer is asking me to spread my legs for him. My mate tries to growl at the healer but I swiftly tell him, “Now is not the time to get fucking possessive. If you’re not going to be helpful then get out.” He doesn’t growl again and the healer goes back to his work. He places his fingers inside me and it hurts but I try to stay as calm as possible given the situation.

“Do not worry my lord the young lord or lady will soon be here. With the next contraction please begin to push.” When I felt said contraction I began the most grueling process of bringing my pup into this world. I screamed and cried but if any had said I did to my face I would kill them before they could finish the sentence. Naraku sat behind me keeping me propped up while Michael wiped my forehead with a wet cool cloth.

“Naraku this is the last time I’ll let you touch me during my heat. I don’t care how bad my body begs for it. If you so much as touch me I’ll kill you!” I scream to my mate as I give a big push.

“Whatever you say my mate,” Naraku said with that condescending voice of his. I wanted to smack him but I happen to be busy at the moment. I don’t know how long I’ve been pushing but it seems like forever before the brat final slips from my body. I relax back into my mate while I listen to the screams of my new born pup.

“My lord you have just birthed a healthy baby boy.” The healer places the screeching thing in my arm. When the pup opened his eyes I knew exactly what to call him.

“I will name you Kira,” he looked up at me with his ruby red eyes with such intensity that I knew I picked the right name. He had my hair color and complexion. The only markings on his flesh were that of a black half moon on his forehead and two black stripes on each cheek. I know he will grow up to be greater than even both of his fathers.

“I think that’s a perfect name Sesshomaru.” Naraku said as he kissed me on the head like I was a dog that had done well.

“I know it is I came up with it.” Naraku laughed and hugged both of us close to him. “Now that our son is brought into this world are you still adamant about your pursuit for revenge?” Naraku looked at our son with a thoughtful expression on his face. If he said anything but no I would be taking our son away from here the first chance I got.

“No, I think I’ve finally seen the error of my ways so to speak. Our son is more important to me than chasing after some half breed dog.” I looked into my mate’s eyes to see if he was serious. I refuse to be lied to or deceived; I have been deceived long enough. What I saw in his expression was truth for once. I saw true compassion for our son and thoughtfulness of our future together.

“I’m glad you’ve changed.” I leaned up to give him a kiss before kissing my beautiful son on the forehead where a black half moon lay.
