CHAPTER EIGHTEEN — HELP—
{in kagome’s time}{again with the shortness. man I just can’t think anymore}
Sessoumaru hired some special doctors and they had fixed what they could. He even had a few vets look at her they were amazed at what they saw . He paid them quite richly to keep quite about what they saw. The doctor said that it would take a miracle if she healed properly. After she had healed somewhat they brought her back to their time. they laid her down on a soft bed and left the room kohru sat next to her. miroku and sango went back home.
“You know we could bring her to the goddesses temple to see what she could do for her” said maru “she helped me so she might help yuki”. They all agreed and put her in a wheelchair. It took them a couple of days to reach the temple `cause they had to maneuver the wheelchair around rocks and other objects. They finally reached the temple and noticed the walls were green and the floor was made of emerald. The supports looked like tree’s and vines it was rally pretty thought yuki as she stared in amazement.
“Welcome” came a voice from nowhere “to the te ofe of the elements”. “”who are you? Where are you” said maru puzzled “and what happened to umi?”. “oh you mean my sister” said the voice . A fugure came towards them she was tall and thin with a kimono the color of green it also had gold edges. “I’m iya goddess of earth. What brings you here friends?”. “we were wondering if you could heal her” said maru who was pointing at her daughter. “No this, I can only heal her physical scars her mental scars will need a tender touch of a loved one to heal”.
She motioned for them to follow her down the hall to the inner sanctum. Once there she walked up to a tree in the middle of the room and drew some friut from the branches. The fruit was clear and looked as though it held some kind of liquid in the center.” how did that tree get there?” asked maru “last time I came here it was a fountain of water”. “you see child, this temple is made of pure magic and when a different goddess visits it, it changes according to there element” said Iya. She took the friut over to a bowl of rock and cracked it open spilling the juice into the bowl. She then went over to yuki and took from her a strand of hair. She walked over to the bowl and placed the hair into the concotion. The liquid turned red then blue then finally green. She walked up to yuki with the bowl in hand “here drink this and heal young one” said Iya. As yuki drank the concoction her wounds and scars began to fade they all watched in amazement not noticing the goddess leave in a furl of leaves taking the tree with her.
As they reached their home ,yuki walking of course, yuki couldn’t help but think it was her fault for the pain naraku caused her saying she should have been on better guard. “That’s not true” siad kohru as he held her close in his arms. He walked her into the house and sat her down next to him by the fire. “But I feel so inferior” said yuki. “Your not to me” said kohru “in fact I think your quite tuff”. “Your just saying that to cheer me up” said yuki as she started to cry. “Kohru cupped her chin and brought it towards his gaze “no I’m not. I really mean it”. He lieaned in and kissed her makeing her feel protected.
She pushed her body colse to him trying to wrap the blanket of protection aroud her so that she wouldn’t any any more pian. What she got was a more passionate kiss and a hug pulling her into his warm body. He pressed his tung lightly on her mouth and she excepted him. They both intwined their tungs and explored each other with deep passion. Just then she pulled bck and a tear came to her eye. “Wharongrong?” asked kohru. “I can’t do this I-I just feel ......tears followed her sentance not alowing her to finish. “It’s ok sweety we don’t have to ok”said kohru. she nodded still sobbing. She curled up into him and cried herself to sleep. He placed her on the bed and layed next to her wraping her close to him to comfort her.
