Chapter 17

The moon seems to light the way to Murglor, the capital city of the blood elves. Inuyasha leads the way as he is followed by Sesshomaru and Elixor. The three sped through the forest as if no obstacles of trees lay on their way.

Inuyasha tried to keep his exhaustion but he just have to stop to catch his breath. “Hah… hah… hah...”

“My prince, are you alright?” Elixor said worriedly.

“you still haven’t regained your full strength.” Sesshomaru stated.

*I feel like I have my brother Philander with me.* Inuyasha mentally said with his back at Sesshomaru he rolled his eyes. “I am fine Elixor… I just need to catch my breath.” He said in between deep breaths.

“You better rest Inuyasha. I’ll stay guard.” Sesshomaru seems to offer but it sounded more like an order.

“No brother we need to go. There’s no time to waste.” Inuyasha said with one last deep breath and then coughed.

“In that condition cousin? Truly foolish… you should follow your brother.” A very familiar voice from the dark called out.

“VICTOR! I may be foolish but I’m never a coward that hides in the dark! Show yourself!” Inuyasha called out with slit eyes.

“As you wish…” Victor appeared from the dark “after all you still have my favor.”

Sesshomaru and Elixor unsheathed their swords. “Oh you don’t need to do that… I have no intentions of fighting.” Victor teased.

“”What do you want?!” Inuyasha irritatingly said.

“I wish to see how my young cousin is doing and this is what I get?” Victor said in mock drama. “I was going to tell you something but I guess I’ll just have to wait that you discover it yourself when you reach Murglor.” Victor turned away “I was looking forward to seeing your reaction when you hear that we have captured Phil-…” Victor turned to look at Inuyasha’s shocked face.” Oh! Me and big mouth.” Victor teased

“You’re lying!” Inuyasha unleashed a fire ball at Victor which he easily evaded. “Believe what you want to believe Inuyasha but saving your mother will be one thing Inuyahsa… saving Philander will be another!” Victor retreated in the dark. Inuaysha sped through where Victor retreated.

“Inuyahsa!”, “Prince Inuyasha!” Sesshomaru and Elixor called out as they followed him.

Inuyasha ran in the dark calling out and cursing Victor when he got into a clearing. He saw elven soldiers on the ground. He kneeled on the ground as Sesshomaru and Elixor came out of the woods to see Inuyahsa in the middle of the battle torn field. “No…” Inuyasha whispers. He whispers an elven incantation “I whisper to the wind” a light breeze started to play with Inuyasha’s hair “send forth my request to the spirits of this forest…” with that the trees started to sway with the light blow of the wind. “Tell me what happened in this plain, let me see… let me hear my beloved’s voice… show me the FOREST’S THEATER.”

From where Sesshomaru and Elixor were standing the trees swayed like they were dancing and whispers were heard, more of an era soothing song, making it known that the trees are talking to each other.

Inuyasha came into a trance. In the middle of the field where Inuyasha was kneeling a tree started to grow encasing Inuyasha. Sesshomaru was about to run and take him when Elixor stopped him. “Lord Seshomaru, Prince Inuyasha is communing with the trees. He wishes to know what happened in these fields… communing with them will also help him, they will protect him, will heal him and give him energy.” Elixor explained. Sesshomaru relaxed after hearing the explanation.

Inside the tree, Inuyasha sees the events that happened…


Philander, Wystan and their group sped through the forest and emerged in the plains. Philander stopped “Wystan tell them they can rest for now… but be on guard.” He ordered.

“Yes my lord.” Wystan said and retreated to the soldiers.
Philander stood regally in the middle of the fields with his senses in optimum. “Come out from hiding Ophelia! I know you’re there!” Philander called out making the soldiers and Wystan stand their guard.

“This was suppose to be an ambush…” A woman with a black long wavy hair appeared. She has white that could pass as very pale complexion and is wearing a tube red long gown that is fitted to her curvy body and spreads out by the mid thigh. She looks really vamp especially with the eye make up and her blood red lips. She is carrying a larger then usual folded fan that has a long braided tassel with three red diamonds at the tip encased in intricate gold patterns. “But thanks to your senses my ambush is nothing…” Ophelia teased.

“Be very carefull men! She uses her hair as her weapon.” Philander warned.

“Too late dear cousin…” Ophelia smiled and five soldiers that had their backs on the woods were entangled by her hair and got dragged into the woods. Last thing known to them were screams of agony. “do you know that it had been long since my hair was last showered by blood… and it’s liking it.” her hair that was once wavy started to straighten and move.

“You will not take any of my men!” Philander sped to Ophelia. Ophelia seeing this commanded her hair to attack Philander. Philander jumped to the hair and slashed his twin swords as red and white burst of energy came out going towards Ophelia. She called back her hair just in time to cover her in a sphere case. When everything settled she came out her case and called out. “Boys… I need some help here.” she flirtly called out. Blood elf soldiers came out. A whole armada!

“My lord!” Wystan called out.

Philander looked at Ophelia scowling. “You-“

Ophelia answered cutting Philander in mid speech “what? You think I would come out to get you with just a battalion?” She said sarcastically “you should be proud Philander… I came with an armada! Just to catch you.”

“You think these low ranking elves can catch me? You are under estimating me…” Philander said with a smile.

“But is it the other way around? Hn?” Ophelia blinked, and her eyes glowed blood red. “Let’s see who gets to smile after this!” her voice unearthly. Her hair was raised to the air by the aura that engulfs her. Slowly her hair sticks together as eyes, fangs and flickering tongue appears by the tips. Her gown tightens more to her body, the bottom part turns to black thigh boots, the upper part becoming a really tight tube skirt that accentuates he boobs and curves. Her fan became solid metal and got sharp blades at each fold. She opened it and sparks came out as metal scratched with metal. “I hope your ready!” all the skanes on her head turned to look at Philander then she lunged at him her fan ready to swing.

“Never been!” Philander said in icy voice as he was engulfed with white light, wings came out of his back. He lunged at Ophelia in his seraphim form with his twin sword out.

Metal fan and the twin sword met with an explosion. When everything settled the two was in the middle with their auras fighting each other. Philander lashed out his heaven sword and got some of Ophelia’s snake hair. She screamed at such a high pitched tone that it could break a human’s ear. “My babies!!! YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!” She lunged at Philander with the metal fan as the snakes strike with poison fangs. Ophelia started to slash her fan at Philander together with he striking snakes “DO the restraining spell NOW!” She screamed as a battalion of spell casters circled around the plain the soldiers of Philander were about to stop them when the other soldiers of Ophelia started attacking.

“That cannot stop me!” Philander Flew to the air raised his two swords and slashed it unleashing a strong energy blast. When everything settled he wiped out half of the armada. He landed to the ground to see a grinning Ophelia.

“I told you… I’ll get the last smile.” Ophelia said when Philander felt something bit him in the neck. He got what it was and saw the snake hair of Ophelia. The one he cut. He crushed it and lunged at Ophelia when he collapsed to the ground. Ophelia walked to Philander and kneeled. “You see… an armada is easy to sacrifice with a trophy like you… when you cut my baby off of me a while ago I commended one of it to cling to you… and bite you at the right moment. They have a potent paralyzing poison that even your strong body cannot fight… you know why?” She lowers down to whisper to Philander’s ear. “It’s made of my blood… and I was never called the poison witch for nothing! Ahahahah!”

Ophelia sudductively alked to the fighting field and announced “YOUR LEADER HAS FALLEN! SURRENDER OF DIE FIGHTING! AHA… AHA…AHAHAHAHAH!”

Wystan tried to rescue Philander but was caught by Ophelia’s snake. “I almost forgot about you.”


The surrounding Inuyasha started to wilt and fall to the ground revealing Inuyasha. Sesshomaru and Elixor rushed to him, Inuyasha was still in his trance state. “Inuyasha.” Sesshomaru called out. Inuyasha opened his eyes, but when he opened it Sesshomaru didn’t see the warm, innocent eyes that he was used to see but rather the hateful eyes that he used to have when it have not seen Inuyahsa.

“Let’s go… I’ll explain to you everything along the way.” Inuyasha said in monotone that could make an erupting volcano turn to ice. Inuaysha blurred out Followed by Elixor and Sesshomaru.

*What happened to you Inuaysha…* was the only thing Sesshomaru could say to himself as they sped through the forest.
