Chapter Fifteen


Kimi woke up alone the next morning, where he had slept was cold and empty. He'd been gone for some time now. She wasn't ready to see him just yet. Her mind was still in shock from the kiss he'd given her. Had it effected him the same way it had her? Did she even stand a chance? Better yet did she want a chance? She wasn't from this time and wasn't planning on staying any longer than neccesary. Besides why get attached to someone when she'd be leaving soon. The question that nagged her the most, did she stand a chance against the ghost of his first love? She didn't want to be wanted because deep down he still wanted her.

A migraine was begining to form behind her eyes, so she got up and changed her clothes. Today she decided on her last pair of blue jeans and her favorite shirt. The color was blue, the sleeves stopped at her shoulders leaving them bare, along with the top of her back and all her neck. The bottom was cut three inches below her breast, leaving her stomach exposed. Now, not only was her belly ring seen but her tatoo as well. She needed to ask Kouga or Ginta about means to a bath and washing her clothes. She slipped on her sneakers, strapped her katana to her side and called Socks to follow her outside. Her ankle was much better it hardly hurt to walk on it. Which meant Kouga would probably demand that she leave in a day or so.

Her and Socks made a trek a little ways down the mountain passing a few wolf demons along the way. The men stopped what they were doing to stare, gawking was more like it. Hakaku saw the girl making her way towards him and waved her over. "My Lady, the women are taking their cubs to the valley to play while the day is warm would you like me to take you there?"

"Sure that would be great," she noticed that even he took the time to check her out. He took her down the mountain and down a path she hadn't noticed before. It led directly into a valley, women and children were already roaming the area. If she had to count she'd say about seven female demons and over thirty children. Most of the women ignored her as she walked around the area watching the children play.

Her and Socks took a seat on top of a fallen log, she didn't mind really. Only five minutes passed before a female came up to her. She was an incher shorter than Kimi, with white hair down to her waist and a friendly smile. "Hello, my lady."

"Morning, I'm suprised you would come over here to talk to me."

"The other's fear you, Lady Kimi, they don't mean any disrepect." She glanced back over her shoulders to the children. "My brother told me that you are a kind person and I believe him."

"Whose your brother and may I ask your name?" Kimi stood and stretched her legs.

"My name is Gercha and my brother is Ginta," the girl didn't seem hostile if anything she looked lonely. Gercha had decided to try and befriend the human girl. "He left early this morning to go hunting with our leader. They should return later on in the day until then we can enjoy our time here."

Two kids started fighting causing others to join in, it reminded Kimi of a food fight in the her high-school cafeteria. The women ran to break up the brawlers some earning scratches in the process. Kimi sighed at the sight, they needed a better way to spend their energy. "Don't they know any games? Besides, Lets Pound the Other Kid?"

"Games, what kind of games, my lady?"

"Like Red Rover, or a wheel-barrel race, what about duck duck goose?" she asked.

"I've never heard of these games, maybe you can teach us. It might help the kids play better together, would help keep them from fighting. Most of our time here is spent breaking up fights." She grabbed Kimi's hand, "will you teach them?"

Kimi's first thought was that half the kids must be Kouga's since she said they liked to start fights. "I doubt they will let me get near them."

"Sure they will they are children, come I will even help." Gercha's smile was contagious cause she found herself agreeing and letting the female wolf drag her into the field filled with children. She commanded her wolf to stay put and he layed back down to sleep. She waved all the children over and they all came running to see what was up. "Children, would you like to learn a fun game?"

They all shouted at the same time causing Kimi's ears to ring. She had to quickly decide which one to teach them first. She clapped her hands together, "Okay, first we are going to play Red Rover. This is how we play, there are two teams. Me and Gercha will be the leaders and what we do is we split you all up into our team. When both teams are formed, they stand facing each other some feet apart, holding hands. Do you understand so far?" Nods and yes' urged her to continue, "Each team takes a turn calling over a person from the opposing team, that person has to run across the field choosing which two people he or she is going to try and break through. If that person breaks through they get to pick someone from that team to join theirs. If that person fails to break through then they have to join that team, they are basically getting caught. The team that gets all the players wins, understand?"

Gersha and her spent the next five minutes seperating the kids, making the kids too small to play sit on the sidelines to cheer. At the end they both ended up with ten children. Both lines were set up and the game began. The other female demons sat along side the other children deciding to watch the game play out.

One by one the children were called, over an hour passed and the teams were still even. The kids definitely had the hang of the game. The onlookers cheered for those that managed to break through a chain and praised the ones that tried but failed. Laughter filled the valley instead of hollering and shouting. Gersha decided to break the odds and called Kimi over. All at once they shouted, "Red Rover, Red Rover, we call Kimi over."

She dropped the hands she'd been holding, and grinned at her new friend. It was obvsious who she was going to try and break through. All the smaller children would be a bit unfair, but she noticed Gersha had placed the biggest boy to her right and thats where Kimi was heading and Gersha knew it. She ran as fast as she could, she felt her stomach make contact with their arms but it didn't budge. She soon found herself flat on her ass knocking the wind out of her. "Umph."

The children started cheering and hollering, "We got Kimi." Gercha bent down and checked on her."You ok?"

"Yeah, but I think I broke my ass bone," she giggled as the kids climbed on her. A few minutes later the game ended with Kimi's teaming being the losers. Then the kids demanded to learn a new game.

"How bout a race but something different, each one of you pick a partner and stand by them." She turned to the other women, "Can I get one of you to help?"

A lady with long black hair stood up, gladly to help out. "What would you have me do?" Kimi showed her where she needed to stand and asked the other women if they cared to participate. Four others got up deciding to try it out and paired off. "Guess, that leaves you as my partner, Gercha." She called them all over and she drew a long line to mark the starting point with her foot. She explained to everyone how to hold their partner and how to let the person in front lead. She explained how to lose and win. The kids were all ready to go throwing bets at each other about which team would win. Kimi got down on her hands and knees waiting while the others did the same.

"Girl, you are lucky I'm not Kouga," Gercha laughed as the blush crept across the girl's face. The other women having heard the comment laughed also causing the girl to turn beat red.

Kouga and the other men arrived back from hunting bringing back four boars, two deer and eight rabbits. The hunt had gone good, due to most animals had taken the chance to come out while the weather had warmed up some. Round about this time, they usually went down into the valley to rescue the women. He spotted Hakaku speaking to Ginta and headed over to see what was up.

"Hello Kouga, I see the hunting went good. Will we be feasting tonight?" Hakaku rubbed the back of his head. The men after depositing their weapons started making their way down to fetch the women. "Are you going to go down also?" He directed the question towards Kouga.

"Why do I wanna go down, I'm going to head inside and get cleaned up."

"Well, I just figured since Lady Kimi was there you might wanna go check on her." He was left talking to Ginta as Kouga took off trying to catch up with his other men. "Come, Ginta let us go as well."

Kouga walked fast enough to catch up with most of his men but a few had already made it to the valley. Ginta and Hakaku ran and caught up to him. "Wait for us Kouga." They walked down the path leading to the valley. The men were gathered around all pointing and laughing.


Kimi was having the time of her life. Her and Gercha had won the first race, came in a pathetic sixth place during the second and they were about to start the third race. The kids and other women were getting the hang of this game to. She could probably move faster but Gercha's comments had her gasping for air as she tried to run on her hands while laughing. Everyone was set up and enjoying themselves so much they payed no attention as the men gathered to watch. Tahiko, the young lady standing at the finish line and playing referee cleared her throat and shouted, "On your mark, get set, GO!" Her voice rang through the valley.

Everyone took off at once, Kimi and Gercha were in third place when it started. Gercha smiled, "Kimi, we could win if you picked your breasts up off the ground. Look you are leaving two twin lines behind us." Kimi started giggling knowing damn well her tits weren't dragging along the ground. "You are leaving a trail even a blind man could follow."

"Stop making me laugh, we are going to lose again." She tried to quicken her pace and in her hurry her hair fell over her shoulder getting caught up under her hand. Her head was instantly snapped down causing her to pitch forward and lose her balance. She landed flat on her chest crushing said breasts.

Gercha burst out laughing at the profanity escaping the girl's mouth. "See told you so."

Kimi started laughing with her and rolled over on her back causing her legs to be released. "Think I left some hair back there also, next time I get on top." She cracked up a split second later. "Don't tell your mate I said that."

"Don't have to, I think he heard you," she pointed over towards the men. Sure enough, her mate was standing next to none other than Kouga.

Kouga stood with his men watching as their mates and children took part of some kind of race played out on your hands. They seemed to be enjoying themselves unlike usual. They usually left in a hurry gladly leaving the task of taking care of the little ones to the men while they saw to preparing the meat brought back. The women were trying to entice the men into joining in and having a couple's race. All seven women grabbed their mates and dragged them to the starting line explaining how the game went.

Gercha saw Kimi get up to go sit on the sidelines. She went over and grabbed her hand, "Oh no, you don't. I'm going to find you a partner you stand right there." She left the girl there not giving her time to argue. She knew exactly who she was going to drag over there. Stopping in front of Kouga, Ginta and Hakaku, "Kimi needs a partner." She grabbed Kouga's hand and dragged him across the field.

"What the hell do you think you are doing woman? I don't want to play," he yanked his hand away and turned around.

"Fine, I'll just ask my brother to be her partner after all I'm sure you don't mind if hes gets to stare at her ass all the way across the field. Not to mention he will be standing between her legs, holding them." She knew she had him when he turned back around.
"Thought so, thats a good boy."

All the women but the two were already on all fours prepared to start. "Look who volunteered to be your partner." Kimi felt her face go red when Kouga was announced as her driver.

Kimi mocked Gercha's movements and somehow ended up on her hands and knees in front of Kouga. She could hear her friend trying to refrain from laughing. She knew true humiliation when her friend decided to teach Kouga how to play. "Kouga, you grab her legs not stand there all day and stare at her ass. See watch," her mate picked up her legs lifting her off the ground.

"Shut up, I know," Kouga was trying hard to calm down. Watching the race and actually participating were two different things. When he watched her go down on all fours, his mind instantly sent naughty thoughts to his groin. He wanted nothing more than to climb behind her and bury himself deep within her. He reached down and grabbed her legs just to get that pain in the ass woman off his case. His hands were finally wrapped around her ankles and he took deep breaths he could do this. Everyone was ready so, the referee, which now was one of the men shouted, "On your mark, get set, GO!" And the couples were off.

Kimi tried to focus on the game at hand and not the fact that Kouga was behind her. Within yards of the finish line, Gercha was in first place with Kimi coming in quick beside her. Kouga wasn't paying attention to where they were headed, he couldn't tear his eyes from the girl's backside. It seemed to twitch every inch the girl moved, he felt himself get hard again and cursed out loud. "Dammit, woman do you have to shake your ass like that?"

Gercha heard his comment and started laughing causing herself to fall over. Kimi ignored his rude comment and passed her friend who'd collapsed on the ground in a fit of giggles. She took the win and he quickly dropped her legs letting her roll over on her ass. He stood over her glaring and she stuck her tongue out at him.

"What is that thing in your mouth anyway?" he'd felt it last night as he kissed her.

"Tongue ring, of course. I got it pierced awhile back." She sprang to her feet and began to brush the dirt of her hands and the back of her pants.

He reached forward and touched the small piece of metal she had placed in her stomach. Her muscles jerked when he ran his hand over her skin. Her intake of breath brought him to meet her eyes and he smelt her arousal. Her sweet scent lingered under his nose tempting him to pick her up and carry her to his cave. His actions were stopped when he heard a loud laugh from behind him.

Gercha was very pleased how things turned out. When the girl had gone down on all fours her suspicions had been confirmed. She had smelt Kouga's arousal confirming that he desired the girl. He was trying so hard to hide that fact but nothing fooled this old girl. She'd almost urinated on herself when he shouted about her ass shaking. Things were looking up for their tribe if she did say so herself. Their leader had joined the men this morning in a better mood than usual. She knew her brother liked the girl but anyone with eyes could see that the girl was falling for their rough leader. She walked up to her new friend and grabbed her arm, "Come, I could use your help with preparing the food."

"Okay," Kimi let herself be dragged away. Thankful to escape Kouga's presence for the time being.
