Final Battle: Revelation part 5
However, it was too late to help him. Naraku tore Sesshomaru in half. His body fell to the ground with a thud the life in his body depleting rapidly.
“I’m sorry lnuYasha for all of my actions toward you, I love you little brother, forgive me.”
Inuyasha stared desolate; he had lost everyone he’s ever known in his life. Memories of good times with his brother filled his mind as he watched the blood soak the ground.
“Well InuYasha, you have no one to help you now, you are at the end of your time dog.”
Naraku said sardonically. InuYasha looked around him and looked at all the dead carcasses. He saw Miroku, Sango, Kilala, Kohaku, Kaede, Sesshomaru and Kagome. People he cared about. He desired to rid the Earth of this foul creature. He desired to be happy again with his friends, his brother, and his love Kagome. The jewel began to purify within his hand. All of a sudden he felt calm, warm and peaceful. He began to shine with purity like one of Kagome’s arrows.
‘What’s happening to me?’
The light that surrounded him blinded Naraku’s eyes. Then they saw her, forged from the spirits of Kagome, Kikyo and Sango, the warrior priestess who created the Sacred Shikon jewel.
“InuYasha, used this jewel to rid this evil from the face of this planet forever!”
“Kagome?”
“No, She and Kikyo are my reincarnates and Sango carried my blood for she is from the warrior tribe I came from. I have been waiting for a champion such as yourself InuYasha, one of your stature and reputation. You have learned what it is like to be both human and demon and as both you have the desire to love.”
The jewel floated into his body, into his heart.
“Use this jewel to cleanse the Earth of this pure evil and fulfill your destiny, You are who you were meant to be.”
Then the aura vanished and filled InuYasha. With renewed strength InuYasha lunged toward Naraku. They clashed sword to sword. InuYasha then cut the sword from Naraku’s hand. Naraku looked down and cursed. However, he turned his lost hand into a weapon that pierced InuYasha right through the heart.
InuYasha felt the pulsation of the Tensusaiga. The sword his father gave to his brother. It preserved InuYasha alive.
“How can this be?” Naraku asked in disbelieved rage. “I killed you.”
“I won’t be that easy to get rid of Naraku.” InuYasha snarled.
InuYasha started again on the assault on Naraku. Not missing a step InuYasha laid in on him. InuYasha had Naraku on his back.
“You know, this is for Koga, Sesshomaru Miroku, Sango, Kikyo and Kagome. I wish they were alive to see you perish, so that they would know that their enemy was vanquished.”
InuYasha lifted his sword and was about to strike Naraku dead when Naraku with a surprise attack engulfed InuYasha in his body. With a flash InuYasha was gone. Naraku was left amongst the battle grounds laughing with malicious victory.
Shippo had crawled out of his hiding space and went to see how things were going with the war. He trapped Kagome’s family with one of his tricks to keep them safe in a fox hole.
He saw the bodies of his friends and he cried when he saw that now InuYasha was gone too. He saw Naraku laughing as dark clouds began to hover in the sky menacingly. When all of a sudden he heard Naraku cry out in pain. The purifying light was coming out of every portal in Naraku’s body. Light soared through the sky as the body of Naraku was destroyed and standing in Naraku’s place was InuYasha with all of his white hair flowing and sword in full erection. The power of the Shikon jewel allowed him to use his full fledge demon powers to destroy Naraku. Now with tears of joy Shippo jumped up shouting with gleeful noise as the champion’s body began to go back to normal.
