Chapter Seventeen: Thoughts Changing
Disclaimer: Hey, you know that I don’t own Inuyasha
IM SO SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG! I honestly am. I had to concentrate on a lot of other things, like my book. That is my top priority so I can finally give it to my publisher. So…yeah…I don’t know how long this chapter will be. I just know it has gotten deleted at least three times, and I have forgotten to save it before too.
So here. Here is Chapter 17. Finally. Please review. Yeah. Just read it.
(please review?)

Kyoko opened her eyes slowly. She was still in Inutaisho’s arms, and he was asleep next to her.
‘Inutaisho. How could I forgive you that easily? How could I forget everything you did? I guess I still love you too much to lose you.’
She sighed softly, however it was loud enough to wake up Inutaisho.
“What is bothering you, Kyoko.”
“It is nothing, just thinking.” She then turned around to face him. “Are you truthful when you say you love me?”
He smiled. “Of course. I love you more than anything.”
She smiled, “Good.” She smirked lightly, a gleam in her eyes. “I'm really bored Inutaisho.”
He smirked as well. “Are you?”
“Mm hmm.” She moved so she was straddling him. “So I’m gonna have some fun…”
Kagome…
Kagome woke up to bright light shining in her window. It was just sunrise.
“Damn no one is gonna be up this early.”
But she decided to wake someone up instead.
She walked down the halls, wishing she had a nose like Inuyasha’s.
She was now sure she was lost.
“Human, what are you doing wandering around the castle this early?”
She turned around to face Sesshoumaru coming out of a room that was obviously his.
She walked angrily up to him. “Hey, my name is not human! Or bitch, or wench, or girl, stupid, idiot, or whatever you want to call me! My name is Kagome! Ka-go-me! Got it?”
He raised an eyebrow.
“Fine then, Kagome. What are you doing wandering around the castle this early?”
She smiled. “That’s better. I am looking for Inuyasha’s room.”
“Down the hall, to the right. Last room in this hall before the stairs.”
She smiled again. She bowed. “Thank you Lord Sesshoumaru.”
He didn’t answer and went back to his room.
‘Jerk.’
She walked until she reached the room she was looking for. She walked in, and as usual, Inuyasha was not sleeping on the bed, but against the wall.
She sighed and shook her head. One of Inuyasha’s ears twitched, and he opened his eyes.
“What are you doing in here?”
She sat down in front of him. “I was bored.”
“Well can you be bored somewhere else then?”
She frowned. “No, because…” Actually she did not know why she had chosen to wake up Inuyasha. “You know you could have at least slept on the bed for once. They are really comfortable.
He looked over at the bed. “Nah.”
Kagome yawned. “Wow you are not very fun to be around in the morning. I think you just made me more tired. Well, since you’re not usin’ your bed, I will.”
He watched as she went to his bed, and layed down, asleep in minutes.
‘Huh?’ Inuyasha yawned and fell asleep.
Everyone…
Breakfast was very interesting, as now added to the group was Inutaisho, who they now knew would die by sunset. Kyoko seemed distant, almost like she was thinking.
Breakfast was not set on one thing. One minute, everyone would be talking nicely, then the next, they would be at eachother’s throats. Insults flew, anger rose, voices rose, even a plate was thrown. Nothing could calm down.
Kyoko…
Kyoko sat in the garden, still thinking. Kagome came out and sat next to her on the stone bench.
“Hi Kyoko.”
“Hello Kagome. What brings you out here?” Kyoko asked her, turning to face her.
“I was just wondering…”Kagome hesitated, unsure of what Kyoko’s reaction would be. “Why is it that you forgave him so easily?”
Kyoko looked away. She sighed. “I…don’t know. It must be that I still love him too much. Or maybe that I don’t want to accept that he ever did it. Maybe I’m just a fool…”
Kagome sighed and looked at the thing she had brought in her hand. “Kyoko, here.” She handed it to her.
Kyoko looked at her, amazed. “My—My knife…but how—“
“I took it before we left the castle. I thought you would have wanted it back.” She smiled.
“Thank you very much Kagome. I have some things I need to attend to now, so I will see you later.”
Kyoko smiled as she left.
Kagome…
Kagome remained in the garden. She was thinking.
“I just don’t get it…something is different…something is wrong…”
“I agree with you Kagome.”
She looked up to see Sesshoumaru. He sat next to her.
“Every night, my mother had cried because of what he did. She killed herself to make him happy. But then, there is something wrong. My mother, being as smart as she is, would have asked first. She would have also left, not killed herself, as that would have made me sad, and that was her greatest fear. I can’t really figure this out…why would she do that? She might have tried to, but she would have never gone through with it.”
Kagome registered everything Sesshoumaru just said.
“That doesn’t make any sense.”
“That, Kagome, is the problem. And I know a way that you could figure out the answer. But it would be dangerous.”
“Will it help Kyoko?”
He nodded.
She thought for a moment. “I’ll do it. Just tell me what it is.”
Naraku…
“This is all falling into plan. All of them are leading her right into my trap, even the one deceiving her most.”
Naraku laughed as he watched in Kanna’s mirror.
