Teasing

Epilogue..

Inuyasha paced back and forth in front of the house. The painful
screams from his mate had him want to kill who ever dared hurt her, but the
trouble was that it was he who had done this to her.  He could smell the birth
blood lingering in the air and it drove him mad. Every demon out there could
probably smell her giving birth and he held his hand on his sword all the time.

-         


Inuyasha,
calm down, said Miroku and sighed heavily.

-         


It’s easy
for you to say; it is not your mate who giving birth here, snarled the pacing
hanyou. Every demon with in a fifty mile area can smell her giving birth and are
heading here.

-         


Do not worry
little brother, said the monotone voice of Sesshoumaru. No demon can penetrate
our defences, your mate and unborn pup is safe here. Kagome-sama, Kaede-sama and
houshi-sama has put up a protective barrier, not even this Sesshoumaru can get
through this barrier, so please sit down and rest.

A low growling sound could be heard from Inuyasha and the houshi
and the demon lord looked at each other and sighed again. Inuyasha was in very
poor shape, Kagome saw this as she looked out the door, he was probably in a far
worse state than Sango right now. A soul searing screamed echoed through the
woods and Kagome thought that Inuyasha was about to faint when he heard it. The
young miko went back into the bedroom and saw Sango push one last time and her
last scream was accompanied with a baby’s forceful life-giving scream. Kaede cut
the navel string with a clean knife and then she cleaned the baby and wrapped in
soft linen.

Kagome-chan,
get Inuyasha, said the older miko and Kagome nodded.

Kagome saw the tense form of the hanyou and she smiled softly.

-         


Inu-chan,
you can come inside now, said Kagome and before she was able to react he had
passed her like a whirlwind.

-         


SANGO!! he
shouted and burst inside their bedroom.

-         


Shh, take it
easy Inuyasha, scolded Kaede and gave Sango her precious cargo. I will leave you
three to get to know each other.

-         


S-sango,
a-are you o-ok, stammered Inuyasha, slightly blushing and took a few steps
forward to sit down next to his wife.

-         


Yes, I am
tired but I am fine, whispered Sango and looked down.

Inuyasha did the same and they were both med by a pair of
sparkling dark amber eyes and black hair. On top of the head was two silvery
puppy ears, dipped in tar.

-         


What shall
we call her? asked Sango and looked up to Inuyasha.

-         


H-her? It is
a g-girl?

-         


Yes, this is
our little girl, said Sango with her soft voice.

-         


She is
beautiful… c-can I hold her?

-         


Of course
Inu-chan.

Sango gave him the little bundle and watched him as he cradled
his daughter’s form. She could have sworn she saw tears in his yellow eyes as he
stroked his thumb over her little cheek. She saw him mouth the word My Daughter
and she smiled.

-         


What do you
think of Seiya, [starlight night]? he asked after a few moments of
silence.

-         


It is
perfect my love; Seiya is a good name, said Sango.

He gave the child back to Sango and he saw her put the child next
to her swelling breast. He was in total awe when he watched his daughter take in
her first meal.

-         


I love you
both so much, he choked on a sob and laid down to embrace them in his strong
protective arms.

Sango nuzzled his neck as she drifted off to sleep, knowing her
mate would protect them from anything that would harm them. She was certain that
this was their paradise on earth.

Ahh,
how sweet, how cute and yet so sad... it is the end... *buhuuu*
