"Get over here monk!" Inuyasha barked from just outside the cave's entrance. Miroku approached and Inuyasha whispered something and Miroku's eyes widened in horror.

"If you want to know why the dog demons are acting like they are, then come with me," Miroku requested of Sango once again. "Otherwise, be patient until Sesshomaru finishes."
"Fine monk, but if you touch me..." Sango threatened giving the monk a death glare.
"This is too serious for me to be groping you at the moment," Miroku assured and the two left.
Kagome and Haruka looked at their mate with their hands on their hips. Inuyasha crossed his arms and glared back.
"If you want to know, then get the kitsume out of earshot, what we've found out Shippo shouldn't hear," Inuyasha growled. Kagome bit her lip and Haruka looked concerned.
"Was he 'using' him?" Haruka asked knowing how to word it so that Inuyasha would understand what she was asking but the little fox wouldn't.
"Yeah," Inuyasha answered quietly.
"C'mon Kagome, I'll fill you in," Haruka said and the two left.

Naraku breathed a quiet sigh of relief. He'd re-absorbed Moryomaru and Hakudoshi and the infant. The damages done to him by Sesshomaru's new sword were now healed over and he was stronger than ever before.

"He wants us dead. He'll have to show himself if he wants to accomplish that task," Sesshomaru countered and Rin fell asleep in his arms.
"We need to head back for my village. I doubt they want to continue the hunt after hearing what they've heard," Inuyasha remarked.
"They will have to get over it quickly. I don't want that spider living one day more than he should."
"Feh, like I want him to live another second longer," Inuyasha spat back.
"He'll hide for now so they can heal their human emotions."
"Sango will take the longest. Kagome's got me and Haruka to lean on, but Sango...that monk's got his work cut out for him."
"Fool, he should mate her and be done with it."
"He doesn't want to marry her while with that cursed hand. He probably doesn't want to die on her and leave her with a child with the same curse," Inuyasha growled.
"The Monk told you this?"
