Chapter 15:

As Inutaisha and Inuyasha practiced together Kagome and Kagoru sat talking together. They watched their friends and in Kagoru's case, mate, seriously but playfully; fight with each other. "What is it like?"

"What?" Kagoru asked, thoroughly confused.

"You know. Having Inutaisha as a mate." Kagome answered while watching the two half demons.

"Kagome. Do you girls have no decency?" He asked while a blush crept over his cheeks.

"I didn't mean it like that. I meant, is she protective? You know stuff like that."

"Very. I was half-surprised when she hauled me into the hut like that. She is very protective of me. I can't get her to wear her haori anymore. She's determined to protect me."

"What about kissing and stuff like that?" Kagome asked with a blush.

At this moment Inutaisha chose to interrupt as she leapt beside him and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and whispered something in his ear. He blushed then watched her continue practicing with Inuyasha. "What did she say?"

"She said it was okay to share with you."

"So.."

"Well. When she kisses she rubs her fangs against my lips. I still am clueless to why she does that." He turned to Kagome and smiled. "When we uh..have sex it is something different. She is so gentle. It is so strange."

"I bet. Was she rough last night?"

"No. Just angry. Very angry."

"Does she get rough when she is angry?"

"No. She remembers to be gentle." He said then broke the silence. "What about you Kagome? Are you and Inuyasha ever going to get together."

Kagome blushed. "I hope so. It's so hard to get him to talk."

"Don't worry Kagome, i'm sure Inuyasha is just waiting for the right moment."

"I hope he hurries. Koga has been trying to get me alone for a while."

"He hasn't. I would be careful."

"Oh don't worry. I can handle Koga. I think."

"You might want to be careful. I think since he knows that Kimi didn't get me then he better get you faster than Inuyasha."

"Well. That remains to be seen. Sometimes Koga gets on my nerves."

"I know how you feel. Before Inutaisha become my mate she used to argue extensively with Kimi about who I belonged to. It was so annoying." Kagoru then turned his head. "Well we will have to talk about that later. They're coming back."

Kagoru sat watching the night sky. He was surprised when Inutaisha snuck up behind him and pulled him between her legs to play with his hair. "Tomorrow, Inuyasha and I have decided we are moving on. He's going to tell the others." She said while stroking Kagoru's hair.

"Good."

"Do you have everything from your world? If not we should go now to get it."

"Uh. I have everything."

"What's the matter?"

"I just don't know how I am going to explain to my dad, sister, and grandma that I am your mate."

"Easy. I'll do it."

Kagoru's jaw dropped. "But. How can you?"

"They'll understand. Afterall your grandma was in love at one time as was your father. And I can tell your sister that we will be sort of like sisters now."

"Yeah."

"Let's get some rest."
