I sat there staring into Naraku's eyes without a single feeling running through my body. I didn't understand how all of this really happened, and I didn't know if I would ever be able to feel things again. I was broken as I sat there on my knees looking into eyes that were filled with shock and deep down sorrow... *Why is he feeling sorrow?*

Naraku and Inuyasha both stiffened and turned to look towards the door... That's when I heard it...

Sesshomaru had traveled non-stop to reach Naraku's castle. He was tired, but he knew something was wrong. He knew something bad had happened with Kagome. He couldn't shake the feeling that he needed to get to her, and soon.

He saw the demons step back away from him. They saw that his eyes were gold with red outlining them... meaning that his beast and him were both in perfect control. Making them their most powerful.

Inuyasha came out of the castle first and walked up to his brother.

"What are you doing back here? Didn't think I could handle things on my own?" Inuyasha asked as he sneered at his brother.

Sesshomaru inhaled Inuyasha's scent and it pushed him over the edge into a blood rage. All the full-blooded demons ran for it. They didn't want a piece of Sesshomaru. Inuyasha of course just didn't get it at all.

**How dare he?**

*We kill him now!*

In perfect agreement Sesshomaru growled at Inuyasha.

"Wtf?! Sesshomaru you bastard! What's wrong with you??" Inuyasha yelled at Sesshomaru as he found himself being held by the neck off of the ground and against a wall.

"You dared to touch her?!" Sesshomaru growled out.

Inuyasha's eyes got wide as he now realized his greatest mistake. "I...I...I didn't know brother." he said as he tried to get out of his grasp to no avail.

Sesshomaru tightened his grip on Inuyasha's throat as he growled louder than ever. "You should have known better than to do anything like that to another being. You were taught better than that you half-breed. Your no brother of mine!" he growled at him.

Before Inuyasha could say another word he was thrown across the castles large yard and hit a tree, but to make it worst Sesshomaru had grabbed a spear from off of the ground where a guard had dropped it on his way out. He threw it with deadly intent. When Inuyasha hit the tree the spear pinned him to it.... right through the heart... killing Inuyasha instantly.

Sesshomaru walked into the castle and saw the other lords and ladies, but not Naraku. He growled as they walked closer to him.

"Lord Sesshomaru... What's gotten into you?" the Lord of the North asked him.

"Leave this place. Naraku is deranged. He rapes, beats, and kills his slaves. He does things you couldn't even imagine. He has something that is mine and I plan on taking it back. Move out of my way... or I'll move you myself." Sesshomaru growled out at them, leaving them all shocked as they moved out of his way and left the castle.

Sesshomaru took a breath and growled louder, letting Naraku know he was coming for him.... letting Kagome know he was coming for her too.

He found Kagome's room with ease and opened the door. What he saw made sorrow shine in his eyes.... Kagome was just laying on the bed staring at the floor with empty eyes. He walked towards her and reached out to her. She looked up at him and there was no emotion at all in her eyes. He felt his heart squeeze at this.

He turned as the door snapped shut. Naraku stood with hatred in his eyes. *How dare he touch my mate!* ran through his mind over and over. He smiled as he realized that Sesshomaru hadn't yet notice that Kagome belonged to him now.

"Naraku you bastard! What have you done to my Kagome?!" Sesshomaru yelled.

"Ha ha ha... Wow your a piece of art Sesshomaru. You hate ever demon that makes a mistake and yet you yourself have just made a huge mistake and the funny part is... you have yet to realize what it is." Naraku said with a smile on his face.

Sesshomaru tried to think what he could have mistaken, his eyes got wide and he inhaled Kagome's scent. *Noooo it can't be?!* Sesshomaru turned his back on Naraku and looked down at Kagome. He grabbed her face gently and turned it to the side so he could see her neck. He gasped... there on her neck was a mating mark.

I let Sesshomaru move my face to the side so he could see the mating mark. He gasped and let go of me and I turned to see him staring at the spot on my neck. He looked up at me and I watched as his eyes held sorrow and heart break. He looked.... broken. The great Lord Sesshomaru was... broken.

I looked up just in time to see Naraku, before I could say something he plunged a long dagger into Sesshomaru's heart. He smirked evilly at me with satisfaction on his face. Lord Sesshomaru hadn't seen it coming at all. In his sorrow he had forgotten all about Naraku.

I watched as Sesshomaru looked into my eyes with sorrow. I watched as his hand went up to my cheek and then slid down as he fell to the floor.

In that moment, that exact moment, I felt hatred like never before. I looked up at Naraku and he moved back. My aura reared up around me. In the room there was an invisible breeze. I stood on the bed naked as the very day I was born. My hair flowed around me and my eyes glowed with feeling.

Naraku gulped and went for the door. Before he could even touch the door he was nothing more than ashes. My powers went through my body and touched every person still in the castle and on the grounds. Every demon with a evil aura were turned to ash within seconds. Everyone that was wounded were healed... scares and all. Among the demons and humans my powers came against Inuyasha and turned his dead body to ash as well. Then they drained from my body and left me breathless.

I got up from where I had fallen and went to Sesshomaru's side. My powers had not healed him. They drained from my body, before they had the chance.

I fell to his side on my knees and touched his beautiful face. Ran my fingers through his hair. I sat there in a puddle of his blood and a tear drop came down. My heart filled with sorrow and grief.
