InuYasha stared at kagome. And so did Sango. And Miroku. And Shippou. She blushed when she faced them.



"How...For how long have you been able to do that?" InuYasha asked



"I...um...actually...well....Since you bit me InuYasha."



He looked at her with distrust in his eyes.



"For two weeks?"



"Hai..." she nodded.



"Why didn't you say anything about your new powers Kagome-chan?" Sango asked.



Kagome attached her eyes on Kikyos body.



"I haven't exactly figured them out myself yet. I started to notice a change within myself a few days after InuYasha and

I...You know..." She said blushing.



"It's not until now i dared to let them out."



InuYasha stayed quiet.



'He doesn't say much...' she thought.



'Is he angry with me? Maybe he should be...I didn't tell him about my new powers but...'



"NOW do you see what you got instead of me InuYasha??!" Kikyo grabbed Kagomes foot so that she fell.



"A lying, unlovable fucking who..."



"Don't you dare finish your sentence Kikyo, unless you want to die!" InuYasha growled.



"She's your whore! A fucking half demon whore!"



Kagome slaped her with everything she was worth.



"And who are you to say something like that?! Wouldn't you be his 'fucking whore' if you where with him.?!" She asked.



InuYasha stared at her.



"I'm getting so damn tired of all this shit!" she continued.



"You know. Really Kikyo, you are getting so boring! You are chasing a guy that doesn't wan't you!"



"He may not want me, but he loves me! And the only reason we aren't together is because of you. You and your stupid mark!"



It was true. She knew it was... The fact that InuYasha loved Kikyo struck her with pain. He knew it, and he could see it. Tears gathered in her eyes

as she screamed and raised her hands against Kikyo. She levitated in the air a few minutes before she was thrown to the ground not to far away from them.

She got up and stared at Kagome. She could se Kikyos heartbeats from the pulsating wave of light, the shikon shard surrounded itself with.



"You...are..."



"Dead. Yes i know. Get on with it!"



Kikyos eyes narrowed, and she fired a rain of arrows. Kagome dodged as well as she could but in the end she got hit in her side.



"Ooooouch!" she whined.



"Kagome-chan!!" Sango yelled.



"KAGOME!" InuYasha jumped down infront of her.



"Get out of the way!" Kikyo said, now even more dangerous and enraged than before.



"No."



"Now!"



"No. Kikyo please! I have tried everything to make you understand! We don't belong. If we where ment to be, then we would be, don't you see?!"



"All i see is the two of you!"



"And that's all you're gonna see of me. I love you..."



Kagomes eyes filled up with tears.



"But i love Kagome even more."



"No...You can't! You....y-you swore to me!"



"I know. and don't you think my heart breakes when i think of the way i treat you?! But this is how it has to be. I'm really sorry."



Kikyo looked at him.



"No you are not InuYasha. You're staying with her out of pity...And i can't accept that! I won't!"



"Than i'm sorry Kikyo, this will hurt me so much more than it will hurt you..."



Kagome looked at his face. It seemed so determined.



"Huh?"



InuYasha ran towards her and raised tetsaiga. He let the long sword make a deadly wound over her chest. Kikyo looked at him with sorrow in her eyes as she fell towards the ground.



"Inu....Y...asha....Why?"



"I couldn't do this to you any longer..."



Suddenly Kagome felt a change in the air. She shuffled herself up to Kikyo and fell down on her knees.



"K-Kagome..."



She could see how the shard within her dying body was purified. But she didn't say anything. She looked at InuYasha. He was crying.



'He really loved her.' she thought as sadness struck her.



Kikyo looked at her.



"K...i..ll t-t-them f-for....m...me..."



"I...hate...."



"Don't speak Kikyo..."



"I-im dyin...g. It doesn't mather. Any...anymore. Live with h-him. Love hi-im."



Kagomes tears started to run down her cheeks.



"I will i promise..." She wispered.



"I'll give you the l-la...ast i c-c-c-can give you. M...My pow..e..r..s..."



Miroku, Sango and shippou stared at the scene. They didn't believe what just had happened. InuYasha had cut Kikyo. They looked at him.

His face was hiding behind his long silver fringe. Suddenly Kagome and Kikyo started to glow in a faded white aura. Kikyo took Kagomes hand.



"I...hate...you Kagome!"



Those where her last words before she closed her eyes and died. Finally her restless soul, had been able to find some comfort. Her body started to disapear

into little balls of white lights. They slowly flowed into Kagomes body. She tilted her head back, and her body was filled with new powers. When the glow

started to fade away she felt dizzy. The last thing she remembers is Sangos voice first screaming:



"InuYasha where are you going?!"



then:



"Kagome-chan! Kirara!"



She felt like she was floating in thin air and then everything went black.

KAEDE-BABA'S VILLAGE

'Kagome could see her arms stretching out for her. Kikyos long arms. And her black hair entagled her body. She smiled as her words echoed over

their heads.



"I hate you Kagome!!"



Hate you...hate you...hate you...hate you...



She was getting harder and harder to breathe...Like the hair somehow was suffocating her.



"K-k-kikyo..."



She started to laugh at her. She felt so hopeless. Hopeless and helpless.



"InuYasha!" she screamed.



"InuYasha!!"



No answer and the world was getting darker.



"INUYASHAAAA!!"



The world went pitch black as she pulled her last breath.'

With a jerk Kagome woke up. Her body ached and her head felt clouded. She looked around. She was in Kaede's hut. It was dark in the room, and all that

she could hear was the crackling sound of the fireglow in the middle of the room. Suddenly she saw a small shadow coming in from the doorway.



"Kagome?"



She tried to look at Shippou but her eyes didn't want to focus.



"Shippou?"



"Hai. Are you okay?"



"I've seen better days..." she mumbled



"You are not wounded?"



"Well...Not to bad anyway. I'll survuve."



She closed her eyes again. In the back of her head she heard Sango-chans voice.



"InuYasha, Where are you going?!"



InuYasha. InuYasha....InuYasha!



"Where's InuYasha?!"



She tried to sit up, even though she felt like she really shouldn't.



"Kagome please lay down." Shippou begged.



"Where is he?"



Sango entered the dark hut.



"We don't know. He took off when Kikyo died."



"Oh..."



She didn't know what to feel. She knew he probably hated himself for what he had done, but why did he leave her alone?! She needed him to!

Where was he...

InuYasha sat in a tree looking at the starfilled sky. His tears ran freely down his cheeks. Kikyo was gone. Killed by his own hands. He had let

tetsaiga walk through her as if she was nothing. He opened his hand, on his palm layed the last shikon shard. Then it would be complete.

What would happen then? Would Kagome give it back, and go away? Abandon him? She should! He was a killer. He knew she didn't think of it, ever, but

he could sense her feelings. He could sense her very clear when he had talked to Kikyo, she was so sad. Her tears ran down her cheeks. But he could also sense Kikyo. Her heart was breaking. She wanted to die. They had to get the last shikon shard, and she was holding it. Even though she was a miko, a HOLY miko, she tried to kill Kagome, like an assasain. She didn't put up as much fight as Kazuma or Hideaki. But still...He killed her.

He felt so guilty that he didn't know where to go. He had to let Kagome go. He had to.He couldn't be with it her, since the people he cared about seeemed to die infront of him... He really wanted to be with her for the rest of his life, but...The pain of watching Kikyo die again, and knowing that he had to let Kagome go overwhelmed him. His tears streamed down his face as he raised his head, and let out a long sad howl.

Takashi opened his eyes and stared at Mishizu.



"You felt it to?"



She nodded.



"Kikyo has left us."



The darkness fell over the room, and the usual lit candle was the only thing keeping it fairly away. Neither one of them spoke...They both knew what this ment.



"Master..." Mishizu started.



"I know. We have to deal with this ourselves. Send a messenger to out dear companion. From now on, we'll do things right around here."



She smiled.



"No more messing up."



"Nope."



He got on his feet.



"Send the message and come back to me Mishizu..."



She bowed and walked away. The errand wouldn't take long. She walked down the hallway and out of their underground mansion. Then she whistled. Only a few seconds after that a little blackwinged dragon appeared.



"Hey Juijin." she smiled.



She had trained it herself, only because it was a birthday gift from Takashi. And because of that it altso was her favorit pet. She would never let him down. She loved him to much for that. She pulled out a piece of paper from her pocket and started to write with a branch, dipped in ink.

Kikyo, Kazuma and Hideaki, they all failed. Me, Mishizu

and Takashi, will now see to your mather of killing the

miko. The end is gathering itself upon us, get ready.
