Showdown


A blush crept up her face, she wasn't sure what to say about that. No one else had remarked on it. Probably due to the serious situation going on. But this was Rin. "Sorry."

"Haha, no need to apologize." Rin grinned at her. She thought Shizuru and Kouga made a cute couple. "So do you like him?"

"I don't know," She felt like she could talk to her. Technically, Rin was older than her. A lot older. "I usually want to smack him or give him a bloody nose. But I think there are times when he can almost be charming. Almost. I don't know Rin, I've been in love before yet this is somehow different. Everything is more intense."

"You do like him. I understand," Rin suddenly stopped in her tracks when she noticed the last person she wanted to see walking towards them. "Shizuru lets go the other way."

"Why?"

"Because she doesn't like me but thats okay the feeling is mutual. Isn't it Rin dear." The blonde wolf kept coming their way.

Shizuru took an instant dislike to the woman. She looked like a cheap floozy and held her nose way too high. "Who the hell are you?"

"Oh, where are my manners. I'm Akita, Kouga's mate."

Shizuru felt like she'd been kicked in the stomach. He already had a woman and still slept with her. Oh he was going to get it.

Rin didn't like the way Akita flaunted that fact, she could tell it bothered her friend. "I'm suprised you're willing to throw that fact out. Considering you find it hard to remember when you whore yourself out."

"What did you say to me, you little bitch. Feeling brave are we dear. Think your friend will save you?" She took a step forward towards both and paused. She looked at the tall woman and sniffed again. She would never be able to forget that stench. "I see, now I know why you feel the need to speak out. Seems your friend has whored herself out to my mate." She cocked a smile. "He sucks don't he dear."

Shizuru lost her temper, she struck out at the woman. Her fist collided with that arrogant jaw sending her backwards. "Open your mouth again and I'll permantly shut it."

"You bitch, I'll tear that pretty face of yours off. Know you'll die for a man not worth spitting on." She charged the tall girl.

"Sesshoumaru," Rin backed up out of the way and shouted at the top of her lungs. She didn't think Shizuru stood a chance fighting against a youkai. Rin watched as Akita made a swipe at Shizuru's face with her sharp claws. Shizuru moved out the way bringing her fist down landing against the woman's face again. Next time Shizuru wasn't so lucky a claw managed to rake across her arm.

"Bitch," Shizuru snatched her by all that pretty blonde hair and slammed her into the wall. A cracking sound was heard as bone met stone. The woman tried to move away from the wall but recieved a kick in the back sending her face to kiss it once more. Shizuru felt two strong arms grabbing ahold of her around the waist.. "Let go of me."

Akita charged the girl, angered that it had been Kouga to pull the girl of her. Shizuru saw her coming again and brought her foot up to kick her in the stomach. Sesshoumaru landed between the two. Kouga tightened his hold on her, hoping to calm her down. He nuzzled her neck, running his mouth lightly over the skin. It seemed to work because she relaxed in his arms.

Ayame came up and wanted to laugh. Akita was leaning against the wall covered in blood while Kouga held the human girl in his arms. No wonder Kouga seemed smitted with her, she had to have balls to take on a wolf youkai hand to hand. Not only had she done it, she thrashed the bitch.

Sesshoumaru knew both wouldn't be able to stay and maintain peace but he would not be the one to decide on who left. "Kouga, decide which will leave. I will only allow one to stay."

He tightened his hold, "Shizuru stays."

"You would chose that pathetic human whore over your own mate."

Shizuru started struggling in his arms again, "Let me go." Kouga dragged her away with Rin trailing behind them.

Sesshoumaru turned to the woman but Ayame spoke instead. "You heard him, he chose. Now leave." She loved the look she recieved, it felt good to tell the woman to get out.

Rin tugged on Kouga's arm, "She was scratched, will you bring her so I can tend to it?"

He nodded and followed her into a small room. He sat her down on a chair, "Stay."

"I'm not a dog dammit." Shizuru tried to count to ten, that didn't work. Okay one hundred.

Rin brought some antiseptic and a bandage. She rolled up the sleeve and took a look. "Its only a small scratch but I'm going to disinfect it first. There's no telling where she had her hands."

She had to smile at that. She wouldn't feel guilty about hitting that woman. She could feel Kouga standing over her as Rin tended to it. "Shouldn't you be tending to your woman?"

"I am."

Rin giggled before she could stop herself, "Oops. There ya go. I'll be going now. I'll give you a tour a little later okay." She left the room quickly. She sighed and laughed. That had been funny to hear, he was staiking his claim on her. It was adorable. She decided to go check on Yukina.

She walked down the hall to the bedroom. The door was already open so she stepped inside the doorway. She froze in her tracks, Hiei was in the room with her. Yukina was still in bed and he was sitting next to her. What tore Rin's heart was that they were holding hands and she was looking at him with a big smile. There was so much adoration and love in her face. Rin left before she was noticed.
