Final Battle: Enter Sesshomaru part 4
“InuYasha are you enjoying this impressive occasion? I am; I relish watching you suffer InuYasha. I have one more surprise for you.”
InuYasha’s eyes glowed with all of his demonic power. He was beside himself with rage. The desire to see Naraku in hell was all that came to the fore front of his mind.
“What else do you have in store for me Naraku? Bring it on. I’ll destroy them quickly so that I can avenge the death of…”
Naraku laughed. “Arrogant you are InuYasha, but you can’t win no matter how you fight. I have on my side an aristocratic assassin. You already know him.”
Naraku moved to the side and InuYasha gritted his teeth.
“Sesshomaru.”
Without a word Sesshomaru jumped and landed gracefully in front of InuYasha.
“I thought we made a truce, how quickly you take it back.”
“Little brother don’t be so quick to pass judgment. You insult me. I came to help you.”
“What!”
Sesshomaru opened his human hand. Within it was the jewel Naraku had. Then he pulled open his pouch and handed to InuYasha the jewel that Naraku had given him the other night.
“You will need this to fight him.”
“How did you?”
Sesshomaru looked at Kagura. Kagura had met him earlier that day. She was sent by Naraku to tell Sesshomaru his plans. However, she made a pack with Sesshomaru. If she helped InuYasha defeat Naraku, she would be free of him. Well, when the mayhem was beginning and Naraku was into seeing how the affairs ended. She used her wind to steal away the Sacred Shikon jewel from Naraku and handed it to Sesshomaru.
Naraku angry at Kagura yelled. “You betrayed me Kagura, I will deal with you first.”
Sesshomaru at the same time gave InuYasha the Tensusaiga.
“InuYasha, this sword will protect you should Naraku kill you. The sword will bring you back to life as it done me. No matter how many times you get struck down.”
“Naraku….” Was all that Kagura could choke out before she collapsed onto the Earth. Naraku growled as he noticed Sesshomaru coming toward him. Quick as lightning Sesshomaru tore open Naraku’s flesh as his poison gas ate away into the demon.
“Huh, I will take care of you later Sesshomaru; first however, I will get my jewel back!”
With that Naraku formed a wooden stake to pierce through InuYasha’s heart. InuYasha jumped out of the way and hacked away at Naraku. Sesshomaru started stabbing Naraku from the other side with the blade forged from Goshinky’s fang. They tag teamed him and were quick to execute the blows. Naraku sent forth more demons to distract them from him so that he can heal himself and defeat them moving in one fluid motion like they did in the past. Together, they were unstoppable. Both of them took out their swords and with one blow took out millions of demons, in spite of this, InuYasha had his back turned to Naraku and unbeknownst to him Naraku again went on the attack. Sesshomaru saw his brother in trouble when a memory entered his mind a memory from long ago. After InuYasha’s mother died, Sesshomaru took him into his care. Their father had asked him to do it. He remembered training Inuyasha how to become an assassin.
“I want to be just like you big brother when I grow up.” InuYasha said panting. His older brother was working him hard. Every time Sesshomaru beat him with mock combat he would make him get up again and battle harder.
“You will never be like me InuYasha; you’re only a half demon.” He smiled. Thoughtfully InuYasha responded.
“Well, than I will train hard to become a full blooded demon just like you for I too want to become a feared aristocratic assassin.”
The little InuYasha said grinning at Sesshomaru with a smile missing a fang. He remembered holding his little brother that night while he slept because InuYasha had a bad dream.
The need to make up for all the lost time, the anger and hate he felt for his brother overwhelmed him. He jumped up and took the stake meant for InuYasha.
When InuYasha turned around he saw his brother being lifted into the air by the tentacle gorged into his mid section.
“Sesshomaru!!!”
