A Royal Pain

Sesshoumaru had his armies attack early that morning. It was a rather fierce fight since the few dragon demons that were protecting the castle called upon their mounts and had what seemed like endless varieties of dragons at their beck and call.

The dragons swooped down raining down acidic poison, fire, and ice. The whole left flank of the wolf tribe was frozen solid unable to move and his right flank was doing the best they could with the fire dragons as the Heron’s tackled them from the sky looking like grey winged fallen angels as they fell to the ground covered in flames.

The lesser demons like the fox, otter, and lynx tribes marched forward throwing spears and spells at the black dragons that were firing acid down at them. Luckily a few fox demons knew how to create barriers and were able to use them protecting the majority of the right and left flanks as they continued to march forward.

Sesshoumaru and the other Inu demons changed into their dog forms and did their best to kill off as many of the ice dragons as possible since they were the immediate threat.

Everything was going to plan although it seemed like chaos was erupting everywhere. It was indeed a brilliant plan until the wolf demons decided to go crazy and got themselves frozen for their efforts.

Koga could only shake his head at his group since now he had lost almost one hundred men all due to their stupidity. They were not supposed to rush in front of the fox demons, but his brother tribes did not want to listen said they could handle it and there was no way some stupid fox demon’s barrier was going to keep them safe. Sometimes Koga had to wonder what the hell was going on in his brother’s heads.

It was Sesshoumaru who grabbed one of the fire dragons throwing it down to Koga to de ice the wolves as he looked down at the pathetic display. Perhaps Koga wasn’t so damn useful.

It was really the bear demons that did the most damage. But they too had their moments of complete idiocy. You definitely do not try to hurl yourself in a catapult at the enemy if you do not know how to aim. It just doesn’t work that way.

Sesshoumaru fought in front of them all and transferred back into his humanoid form using bakusaiga to slice through his foes. He did get a bit singed and used the light whip to destroy several of the dragons. However on the acid breathers he was not able to just kill them off with his light whip since they were impervious to acid and poison strikes.

After a while of cutting through the chaotic mess that was behind him, Sesshoumaru focused on gathering up his little brother. His troops were doing fine at this point and if they kept this up they would slaughter them all since the dragon demons were finally being pushed back and some of the dragons were heading back ignoring their master’s call.

Using his poison flower move he allowed acid to fly from his right hand as the walls of the castle melted before him. There behind it were only a few female dragon demons all who were bowing before him.

“You are Lord Sesshoumaru?”

Sesshoumaru looked down at them all like they were filth of the earth.

“Where is my brother?”

Akahana stepped forward.

“We must hurry. I will take you to where your brother is. I fear that Lord Kaneko has gone completely mad. He has poisoned your brother to near death and is now alone with the boy. We tried to find a way to help him escape, but when he became ill there was nothing we could do but wait.”

Sesshoumaru took this knowledge, but it did not mean he would show mercy to these people. They had kept his brother from him and now Inuyasha was ill. He would slaughter every one of them if Lord Kaneko was doing what he thought he might be doing.

Akahana lead Sesshoumaru to the door as Sesshoumaru blew it up simply by using his mind power.

“Leave me.”

Sesshoumaru told the woman as he entered the room where a very shocked Lord Kaneko was preparing to penetrate his little brother.

Everything went red for Sesshoumaru as his eyes bled over. No one touched his little brother especially some piece of shit like Katsutoshi Kaneko.

The room reeked of Katsutoshi’s poison. Sesshoumaru within a blink lopped off Katsutoshi’s head not giving a damn that his blood would end up all over his little brother. He just stood there and watched the body fall.

Sesshoumaru then pulled the body off of his little brother then opened his hand and melted the body while the head was still moving. The dragon Lord would die and could not be regenerated. Bakusaiga and his acid would insure that much.

When Sesshoumaru came back from his demon rage he finally went over to his brother’s side picking up the now unconscious boy carrying him outside not giving a damn that poor Inuyasha was still naked.

Inuyasha awoke feeling wet and cold. Sesshoumaru was washing his body off and he had the taste of blood in his mouth.

Ignoring the taste of blood Inuyasha was in shock watching his brother wash him off. Sesshoumaru didn’t do shit like that. It had to be a dream.

The other thing that was wrong was his brother wasn’t ever a mess. Even after a battle he was always pristine. This time his pure white silky hair was coated with blood and some kind of black goo. It was also singed in a few places. There was no way that could be. Sesshoumaru was a snob and his hair was always perfect.

And his clothing was ripped. Not just shredded in some places, but ripped. The silk had the same goo, blood, and burn spots in it. It had to be a trick.

Inuyasha went to speak, but found he still could not and that he was still ill. All of this had to be a hallucination since Sesshoumaru wasn’t here. Sesshoumaru wouldn’t come to save him. Ya, all this had to be a dream.

“Inuyasha, I can read your mind. This is not a dream.”

Inuyasha knew that was the right voice, but what the hell was his brother doing in some other guy’s body? Even Sesshoumaru’s face was scratched a bit although that part seemed to be healing rather quickly. This had to be a trick.

“Inuyasha it is me. This is not a trick. I have been battling dragons to save you. We are in Father’s old war tent since the Lords of the East and North are here to take part of the lands of the South. I must decree it so and there will be much paperwork for me here.”

Inuyasha thought about his wife.

“Kagome and the others will be meeting you back at my castle. You are in no condition to see any of them until we get back and yes they have your sword.”

Inuyasha still didn’t trust this, but he wasn’t exactly able to move to do anything about it.

‘What about my clothes?’

Inuyasha decided to talk to his brother in his head since that seemed to be the way of things in this conversation. It was weird, but this whole thing with his brother had been weird ever since he had sex with him in the village at the hot springs.

“Koga is going to fetch them.”

Inuyasha pouted at that a bit since now they would smell like wolf turd.

“You don’t have much of a choice in people who would go and get your fire rat armor. It will not matter anyway. You will not be wearing such since you have gifts here and proposals although I don’t approve of any of them.”

‘Proposals for what? Gifts?”

Now this had to be a fucking dream. Inuyasha was against all of this. It wasn’t normal.

“Inuyasha you are coveted by many because you saved many of these demon’s lives. By the way you won’t be doing that anymore. You will act like a damn Lord if I have to shove it down your throat.”

Now that sounded like Sesshoumaru. Bossy bastard.

‘What if I don’t want to be a Lord?’

Sesshoumaru smirked at that.

“Would you rather be a Lady? I can do that too.”

Inuyasha looked horrified.

‘You won’t put rose shit in my hair. I would rather die than to be some asshole’s Lady.’

Inuyasha went on a tangent on why he would not be a Lady and no asshole was going to braid his hair ever again.

Sesshoumaru chuckled a bit since Inuyasha’s brain was as bad as his mouth.

“After you heal you will become someone’s mate. It is the only way to remove the mark.”

Sesshoumaru touched it and it ached a bit.

Inuyasha just laid there realizing that his brother was being serious.

‘Do I get to choose?’

Sesshoumaru nodded to the affirmative.

“Right as we speak the bear and wolf demons are debating on who will have the option of taking you as a mate. As I said before I don’t approve. As your brother I am responsible for you and for who will be your mate. I know Koga is eager to take you and has known you the longest.”

Inuyasha looked at Sesshoumaru again like he lost his fucking marbles.

‘Wolf turd wants me to be his mate? I guess the guy has really hit his head on something pretty hard to decide something like that on his own and I am not going to mate a bear. Do you know how fucking big they are? They would kill me.’

Sesshoumaru smiled a bit.

“I was kind of hoping you would choose to stay with me.”

Inuyasha looked at Sesshoumaru not quite believing that one. Still, Sesshoumaru had been the one that saved him, he was taking care of him now even though he looked like hell, and Inuyasha had taken him twice by the hot springs.

‘I guess you will do. It isn’t like I have a real choice here and I don’t want this stupid mark on me from that other asshole. I thought it would fade after he died.’

Sesshoumaru did know that information was somewhat true, but it would take a long time for it to fade away. Sesshoumaru really had to choose to mate Inuyasha now or he would have to forfeit his little brother to one of the tribes to keep the peace.

“So you do want me?”

Inuyasha thought about it.

‘Sure. I mean it will be weird with you being my brother and all, but we kind of have been with each other already and you promised that you would show me pleasure. I still think you lie about that, but I will give you a chance to prove me wrong.’

Sesshoumaru smiled and nodded.

“When you are well again I will show you and I guess your wife as well. I am not going to have sex with her though. She can have it with you and can watch. You know I don’t like your woman even if she suits you.”

Inuyasha shivered a bit as Sesshoumaru washed him off, but was surprised when Sesshoumaru kissed him.

“I love you Inuyasha.”

Sesshoumaru whispered into Inuyasha’s ear.

Inuyasha didn’t believe it, but he wanted to so he took those words for now and hung onto them.

“I know it is hard to believe, but I ask you to acknowledge them as I did when you said it to me.”

Inuyasha finally got his lips to move.

“I will. Thank you for saving me.”

Sesshoumaru kissed those lips tenderly before he turned out the light and covered them both in furs not bothering to clean himself up since by morning the dirt would all be gone.
