thehotty : Among many, many more. But bear with me. I've been trying to work on the story (Both of them) and get a new one on the way. Please, bear with me.

Kagome watched Shippo transform into a pink bubble and float around with Rin on his back from the safety of the ground. Preparations for the Ceremony were in full swing with it being only two more days away. Kikyou and Inu Yasha had decided that they would tell Kibito after the Ceremony was over, so he’d have more to celebrate. Sesshoumaru had congratulated his brother on civil terms.



Kagome smiled at the life she had right then. Everything was going just right for her. The man of her dreams was her mate, they were married as well. They had two children (though they were not blood, they were their children) and they were surrounded by family. Nothing could make her happier.



Sesshoumaru sat down next to her on the soft grass and kissed her on the lips softly. “I have been talking to father. He thinks I should keep an eye on you. I do not know why, but he wants me too.”



Kagome rolled her eyes. “He’s been acting weird toward me ever since Court was over. He keeps trying to make me eat more and telling me I should rest more often. I wonder what his problem is,” she said, leaning against her mate’s shoulder.



Sesshoumaru watched her a minute before kissing her forehead. “Maybe he wants you to conceive but is being nicer about it?”



Kagome shrugged her shoulders. “Don’t know. I just wish he’d stop beating around the bush and tell us what’s eating him, you know?”



Sesshoumaru nodded and watched as Inu Yasha rounded the corner of the castle and headed in their direction. He watched as Inu Yasha stopped in his tracks and sniffed at the air for a minute before glancing at Kagome.



“Hey, jack-ass. Come here,” he called out to Sesshoumaru.



Sesshoumaru glared at his brother while getting up from the ground. Kagome watched him head over to his brother to talk to him. She couldn’t hear what they were talking about though, due to their quite voices and distance.



Sesshoumaru reached Inu Yasha. “What is it?” he asked.



“Have you noticed a change in Kagome’s scent?” he asked, glancing at Kagome once again and sniffing the air.



Sesshoumaru glared harder at his brother before taking a sniff at the air to test it out. As the scent hit his nose, his eyes widened. Without another word, he dashed off to his fathers study.



Kagome watched him take off. She quickly stood up and started to run off after him. Inu Yasha caught her though and shook his head. She tried to push him away to get to her mate and find out what was happening.



“Kagome, stop! You’re going to hurt yourself. He’s just going to talk to dad. He’ll be fine,” Inu Yasha assured. “He’ll be right back.”



Kagome settled down a little and looked up at Inu Yasha. “What did you say to him? Don’t lie to me either Yasha!”



“I just told him to go talk to dad. That’s all, I promise,” Inu Yasha said, putting Kagome down on her feet. “Now, go find mom. I think she wanted to talk to you about the flower arrangement. I’ll take care of the kids. I promise, no swearing!”



Kagome watched him doubtfully for a minute before she left him with Shippo and Rin, who had just spotted the hanyou coming their way, and trying to fly off from him in a game of chase.











Sesshoumaru entered the study without knocking. He glanced at the two Lords and Kibito. “Leave. I must speak to my father.”



Kibito and Hitten nodded and left right away, not wanting to get in his way. Kouga though, decided he wanted to know about what.



“What’s wrong with Kagome?” he asked, almost snarling at Sesshoumaru.



“Nothing is wrong with my mate. I must speak to my father about other personal matters. They do not include you, so leave Lord Kouga, before I force you to leave,” Sesshoumaru threatened, glaring at Kouga.



Kouga huffed. Inu-no stood up and walked up to Sesshoumaru. “How about we take this somewhere else. I don’t want to start anything here.”



Sesshoumaru nodded and Inu-no led him out the door and into the library, which was currently being used to hold all the fabric for the ceremony to come. Sesshoumaru took in all the colors and styles and smirked. His mate really knew what he’d like. He turned his attention away from his surroundings and to his father.



“You knew about her condition, didn’t you?” he asked.



Inu-no nodded somberly. “Hai. I wanted to say something, but I thought I’d let you figure it out on your own. Can you tell what it is yet?” he asked.



“It smells masculine, but there’s something else there. Surely it cannot be Naraku’s,” Sesshoumaru tried for.



Inu-no shook his head. “You’d be able to tell. It’s yours. But it seems like it is full demon. I don’t see how that can be though. She’s human and she’s a very powerful Miko to boot. What do you think?”



Sesshoumaru shook his head. “I don’t know what to think, father. I will be a father in a few months now. She will be swollen with pup. My pup. I did not expect this so soon,” he confessed.



Inu-no nodded. “Of course. Normally it’s a few years before the first one comes. You’re just blessed. Inu Yasha and Kikyou have known each other for a long time now, so this isn’t unexpected for them. They’d been trying since marriage to start their family. You don’t have to wait much longer though. Go talk to her. I bet you gave her a scare just running off like that.”



Sesshoumaru nodded and left his father standing in the library to find favor in his mate’s arms. As he exited, he spotted Inu Yasha getting tickled by the children with Kagome nowhere in sight. He walked up to his brother and swooped up Rin, setting her on his shoulder as Shippo jumped up onto his other one.



Rin gave a squeal of excitement, and hugged her fathers head while Shippo started boasting that Sesshoumaru was going to kick Inu Yasha’s butt now that he was there.



“Yeah, like he could do that! I’d kill him before he had a chance, squirt,” Inu Yasha huffed.



Sesshoumaru glared at him while Rin protested loudly.



“IIE! Daddy can beat you up without moving! Show him Dad!” she exclaimed, pointing at Inu Yasha.



Inu Yasha laughed and looked at Sesshoumaru. “So, what’s up?”



“Where is she?” he asked



“She’s with mom. They’re doing flower arrangements. Are you telling her?” Inu Yasha asked, picking Shippo off Sesshoumaru’s shoulder.



“Hai. She deserves to know, after all,” Sesshoumaru answered. He handed Rin over to Inu Yasha as well. “No swearing,” was his last order as he walked off to the tea room to find his mate once again.



He found her walking back to the gardens where the children where. As soon as she saw him round the corner, she ran up to him and hugged him.



“What happened? You just took off without saying anything to me!” she cried out into his arms.



Sesshoumaru wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her up, dashing through the halls to their room. She tightened her grip on him as he ran through the halls. As they entered the room, he slowed down and closed the doors, setting her down on the bed.



“What’s going on Sesshoumaru?” she asked, standing up to face him. “You’re acting really weird. Please tell me.”



He sat down and pulled her onto his lap and rubbed his nose against his mate mark. Kagome giggled and pushed him away slightly.



“Stop that! It tickles. Tell me what’s wrong,” she tried again.



“I’m happy is all,” he answered.



“About what? You’re acting weird Sesshoumaru. I want to know what’s happening,” she demanded.



Sesshoumaru nodded and smiled brightly. “We’re going to have a pup,” he answered.



Kagome’s eyes widened. “What?” she asked, not quite sure she had heard him correctly.



“It’s a boy. I didn’t think anything about it at first. I just thought father was trying to convince us to conceive. Then Inu Yasha asked what was wrong with your scent. After I realized what it was, I quickly went to confront my father. Kagome, we’re having a boy, a full blooded demon at that,” he said, holding her tighter.



Kagome threw her arms around Sesshoumaru and tried not to scream to loud, else she hurt his ears. “Oh! Wait until Dad hears this! And the kids! Kikyou will just die! And Mom! She’ll go all sorts of crazy!”



Sesshoumaru planted his lips on hers to silence her. Though it worked quite effectively, it soon lead to them ripping at each others clothes, trying to touch each other’s skin. Sesshoumaru broke away to move his mouth to his mating mark. She moaned loudly at the feeling, making him throb in pure need.



Soon their clothes were shredded off by impatient hands and claws and Sesshoumaru positioned himself while pulling away from Kagome. She thrust her hips upward, engulfing his dick in her wet pussy. Sesshoumaru tossed his head back and moaned at her movement at the same time Kagome gasped at the feeling.



She called out Sesshoumaru’s name, begging him to move, and so he obeyed. Their bodies slid over each others in a dance older then time while they made love. “We’re going to be parents soon,” Kagome whispered before finally drifting off to sleep.



Sesshoumaru pulled her closer to himself and covered them with the blanket, following her into the dream world.











Kagome woke up to find Sesshoumaru dressing. She sat up in the bed and stretched, catching her mate’s attention in the process.



“I see you’re awake finally. The servants brought us dinner. It looks like we slept through. The children should be going to bed soon though, so you should get up and go tuck them in,” Sesshoumaru informed her.



“Ah, I see. But why didn’t anyone wake us up?” she asked, grabbing a yakama that Sesshoumaru handed to her.



He kissed gave her a chaste kiss. “Father wouldn’t let anyone. Said you need your sleep. Now get dressed and take care of the kids. I am going to speak to father,” Sesshoumaru said while he tied his oobi.



Kagome obeyed him and quickly tied her oobi and headed out the door to kiss her children good night. When she entered the room, a servant was scolding Shippo for not changing into his night clothes. Kagome took the clothes from the servants’ hands and motioned for Rin and Shippo to sit on her lap. The servant bowed and quickly left.



“Mamma! Were have you been? You missed it! Yasha fell into a huge puddle of mud and got yelled at by Grampa Inu-no. Then Aunt Kikyou yelled at Grampa and then yelled at Yasha! It was so funny,” Shippo explained excitedly while Rin laughed at the memory.



“I bet. Mamma was sleeping though. I have something to tell you two. Now, I want you to remember that you Dad and I aren’t going to forget about you, ok?” she asked the two kids.



They both nodded their heads, looking at one another for any answer.



“You’ve got a baby brother coming!” Kagome told them throwing her hands in the air.



Shippo’s eyes widened. “Really? Where is he?” he asked, looking behind Kagome, expecting a little boy to crawl through the door.



“Rin can play with the baby too, right?” Rin asked, looking up at Kagome hopefully.



“Of course you can play with him. But you have to wait, because he’s in my tummy. He’s not ready to come out yet,” she told the two.



They both looked at her tummy as their mouths turned into ‘O’s of understanding. Shippo looked up again. “What are you going to call him?” he asked.



Kagome looked down at Shippo for a moment. “You know what, I don’t know. How about you two think of names for him? How does that sound?” she asked, setting the two down onto the floor.



Rin nodded. “Rin will think of lots of names for the baby. But how will you know what Rin thinks of?”



Kagome laughed and kneeled down. “How about when you think of them, you tell me. That way I and Daddy can talk about them. We’ll all pick as a family, ok?” she asked, undressing Shippo and putting him in his night clothes.



Shippo nodded. “Alright Mamma! What story are you going to tell us tonight?” he asked, climbing into the bed.



Kagome smiled as she covered him with the blanket and waited for Rin to climb into hers. “How about I tell you the story of the mighty samurai that save the beautiful princess?” she asked, tucking Rin into her bed.



They both nodded their head, as this was their favorite story, and so she began.
