The sun was starting to go down and everyone was tired. Sango walked up to Kagome.

"Kagome-chan, i thought that maybe later you and me could take a bath in the hot springs?"

She nodded and smiled.

"Sure, i really could need it after this day."

"How are ye feeling girls?" Kaede asked looking at Sango and Kagome.

"Just fine Kaede-sama."

"Just fine."

"Good." she smiled.

Suddenly Kagome got a bad feeling, but she couldn't describe it. She stopped and looked around.

"Kagome?" InuYasha said worried.

"Hai?"

"Are you okay?"

"I don't think we're alone..."

The others stopped and looked around. InuYasha sniffed the air.

"I don't feel anything..."

"Maybe it's just in my head..."

'But it's so real...' she thought.

They went inside the hut and miroku lighted the little fire in the middle of the room.

"Aaahhh....so good...." Miroku sighed and leaned against the wall.

Shippou sat down next to him.

"Oooi Miroku, fix us something to eat."

"What?"

Kagome opened her backpack.

"Hey guys, i've got some noodles if you want?"

"Sure!"

She tossed them the noodle cups and gave InuYasha a warming look.

"Sango, you wanna go?"

She nodded and followed Kagome through the forest. They slipped out of their clothes and down
into the hot water.

"Whoaaaa....this is nice..." Kagome smiled and leaned herself against a rock.

"I couldn't agree more. After a days work, this is the best way to relax."

"Mhm..."

Kagome stared at the now black sky, it was painted with bright glowing stars.

"Sango...I Can swear that someone is watching us..."

"I'm sure it's that perverted monk! Just wait until i get my..."

She started to get out of the water.

"NO! I didn't mean like that." Kagome said.

"Oh..."

She calmly walked back.

"What do you mean? You mean before? or what?"

"I mean now. I feel...I Don't know Sango. All i know is that i jus..."

Kagome stopped in her tracks.

"What the..."

"What is it?" Sango said.

"Look!"

She followed Kagomes eyes to the hill just across the lake.

"Kikyos soul collectors!"

"I knew it! So it was her presence i felt earlier today."

"She's still watching you?"

Kagome looked at Sango.

"I don't know...Hope not...You know what let's go back to the hut. I think i want to talk
to InuYasha."

"Fine by me" Sango smiled.

They got dressed and walked up to the village again. When they finally reached Kaedes hut
InuYasha wasn't there, and Miroku and Shippou where fighting over the last noodles.

"Guys, have you seen InuYasha?" Kagome asked.

"He said something about having a bad feeling about your bad feeling or something...
Anyway he's out looking around."

"How long ago was that?"

"Since you left i believe...Why? Did you find something."

"Kagome and i saw Kikyous soulstealers in the forest..."

Shippou and Miroku went quiet.

"oh..."

Kagome felt how her heart skipped a beat, then returned to normal as she remembered...

"It's okay. I'm not worried."

Shippou looked at her.

"You're not? B-but..."

"No...I know he won't do anything like that..."

"Kagome, are you sure? This is..."Shippou nervously stopped in his sentence.

"I'm sure...And i got something to prove it,Look."

She pulled down her shirt a bit from her neck and showed them a blue crescent moon.

"You two...! That's a demons mark!" Shippou yelled.

"Kagome-sama! The two of you have..?"

She nodded. Sango smiled.

"I trust you."

The others smiled.

"Soo....want to help me find him?"

They nodded. One by one they went outside the door.

"Okey...Let's head in this direction...This is the way to Kikyou. I guess he's found
her by now. Or at least i think so..."

They started to walk through the dark forest.

"InuYasha!" Kagome screamed.

"InuYasha!"

No answer. Where could he be...They kept on walking and got closer and closer to Kikyo.
When they got out of the forest they could see her light on the hill, clearly. Kagome
started to climb it and when she got up, she found what she was looking for exactly where
she thought he could be found.

InuYasha got up on his feet.

"Oi, InuYasha, where are you going?" Shippou asked him.

"I'm going to see if i can find the reson for Kagomes bad feeling. I don't think she was far
off, i'm starting to get a bad feeling to."

"You think something is wrong?"

"I don't know yet."

Miroku got up beside him.

"Then we should help you."

"Keh! You'll only slow me down, besides it won't take me long, stay here and wait for Sango and
Kagome."

Miroku sat down again, he knew that arguing with InuYasha wouldn't get him anywhere. Besides he
was gonna eat his food, before Shippou did it.

With those words hanging in the air InuYasha walked outside and took of. He ran for a while
before he jumped up and sat down on a branch. He listened carefully and sniffed the air for
anything that usually weren't there. He thought he saw something but wasn't sure. He climbed
higher up in the tree. Further away he saw a few of Kikyous soulstealers.

"Kikyou...?" he mumbled.

On the hill, just a few minutes from where he was he could see her light. He had to talk to her.
He let go of the tree and landed on the ground. He started to run, and didn't stop until he was
at the bottom of the hill. Then he climbed up. When he was up, she looked at him.

"InuYasha..."

"Kikyou. We need to talk."

She got up from where she was sitting.

"About what?"

"What are you doing here?"

"What do you mean?"

"C'mon, we both know that Naraku is dead now. And...We can't be together..."

"You promised me to follow me to hell!!" she yelled.

"But i can't, don't you see!"

"Because you're with her?"

"Yes."

She looked at him coldly. She noticed more people coming up towards them and stared at Kagome
with hate and disgust in her eyes. Then she turned back to InuYasha.

"You wonder why i'm here? Since i can't be with you, and since Naraku is dead?"

He looked at her.

"I'm here for her."

"Huh."

"Im here to kill her."

Kagome stared at her.

"I Have enough people after me, wanting to do that now.Get in line..." Kagome said and turned around
to walk away.

Kikyou layed an arrow against her bow and screamed at her:

"I AM ONE OF THEM!! I'M YOUR ENEMY!"

InuYasha just looked at her.

"You're one of the people after Kagome? An Assasain Kikyou?"

She nodded and fired the arrow.

"Kirara!" Sango yelled, and the huge cat captured Kagome on her back, just in time for the arrow
to miss it's target.

"Why?" He asked her.

"Why not?" Kikyou answered.

"Are you gonna stop me InuYasha?"

"Even if you have to kill me?"

He placed himself infront of Kagome and snarled.

"If i have to."

"YOU FOOL! You chose her, over me?! I didn't expect that from you..."

Kagome walked up to her.

"Did you expect to get this?"

She pulled down her shirt and showed Kikyou her demon mark, that InuYasha had given her.

"You bitch!!"

Kikyous hands started to glow.

"Kagome, watch out!" InuYasha screamed.

The ball of light flew up to the sky and erected a barrier around them.

"We are ending this now..." She said.

"I'm fine by that!" Kagome replied.

"Kikyou, get the hell away from her!"

"You stay out of this! InuYasha!"

He placed himself between her and Kagome.

"Or what?"

She aimed her hands at him and fired a shadowbolt. He flew away from them and landed on
the ground.

"InuYasha!!" Kagome screamed.

When he got back up she turned to Kikyou again, raised her bow and fired an arrow at her.
She dodged it, and sent it back. To Kagomes surprise she raised her hands infront of her face
and caught the arrow in the air. Then she droped it on the ground.

"Who sent you?" Kagome asked raising the bow once again.

"What do you care?"

"I care when someone is trying to kill me."

"Then i don't know."

"You do know!"

"Don't you wish that you should have killed me when you had the chance?"

Kikyou looked at her. Kagome could sense the shikon shard, and it wasn't pure.

"No."

"huh?"

"I'm not like you Kikyou."

"Let's find out."

Kagome lowered her bow and put her arrow back.

"Kagome!! what the hell are you doing?!" InuYasha said.

Kikyou started to create a firebolt. Kagome raised her hands against her. She released it towards
Kagome, and InuYasha started to run towards her.

"Kagome!!"

The bolt of fire was faster than he was. But then something happened that they had never seen before.
Kagomes hands started to shine, a blue bright light.

"You can keep it!" She screamed and created a force field around her, causing Kikyous bolt of fire to
backfire. She stared at the fire bolt as it hit her to the ground.

"What the..." InuYasha said.

Kagome looked at Kikyou. She layed on the ground. Her hair was burned along with her clothes, she wasn't badly
injured and would surely get up again, but now she had let her know, that she had more powers than she thought.
And she was gonna defend herself, InuYasha and the others with them, even if it ment killing Kikyou along the way.
