CHAPTER FIFTEEN — YUKI FINDS A FRIEND—
{ten years later}{yuki 15 years old}
“hey mom I got a letter from shippo and kyrara saying that we could visit can we go?”asked yuki. “Sure that would be fun” said maru and seth in unison. “When do you want to leave?” asked maru. “How about tomorrow” said yuki.. “That would be fine”answered seth. They all got thier stuff together so that they could just leave in the morning without any problems of packing. Both maru and seth went over a check list to make sure that they wouldn’t forget anything. They then proceded to eat dinner and wash up.
Yuki was in a hurry to go to bed because she had always wanted to meet shippo and kyrara. She met miroku and songo in fact she they had stayed for a few years. Yuki learned a few ‘tricks’ from miroku by watching how he fondled his love. Yuki couldn’t help but ponder about one day having love like that. She also herd about shippo and loved how brave he sounded.’Wonder if he has a son’ thought yuki. She washed her face and brushed her teeth and went to sleep dreaming about handsome guys that would sweep her off her feet.
In the morning they told everyone about their plans. Kagome rin inuyasha and sesshoumaru all siad there goodbyes and waited for their return in a month. Maru seth and yuki all travled for three days and rested on the fourth. They stopped at an inn and replenished their provisions.
After resting they continued on their way to shippo’s land. They stoped by a river to rest for a night befroe trying to go on. Bad Idea. A demon moth came out of nowhere and attacked, yuki was the first one disabled. Seth and maru drew their swords and attacked the beast seth slashed his sword down upon it’s right wing while maru attacked it’s other. They managed to bring it down.
It writhed and twisted at the pian vowing to destroy them. Yuki finally got up and unleashed her claws on the beast. Telling it not to make death threats unless it’s gonna win. She took two swipes at it’s head and body and the beast died. They all cleaned the wounds and decided it would be safe if they just kept going. After another two days journey they finally reached their destination. Shoppo was the first one to greet them “hello friends hope you had a safe trip” said shippo. After looking upon their faces he new they did not have a very safe trip. “We had to fight a demon to get here” said yuki. “Arether big demon might I add” siad seth.”what type of demon?” asked shippo. “A moth demon” answered maru.
“Where’s kyrara?” asked yuki. “She and our son went for a walk a little while ago” siad shippo. “What’s his name?” asked yuki. “Kohru” said shippo. “That’s quite a coincidence” said maru “because mirouku’s son is named kohru too”. “well we liked the name so we used it” said shippo.
“So how old is he?” asked yuki. “He’s about 18 years old” said shippo. “Why all the questions daughter?” asked maru. “ it’s nothing I just wanna get to him before I see him” siad yuki. Maru and seth let yuki talk to shippo while they walked a little far away so they could talk.
“Our daughter is acting quite strange” said maru. “Yeah” said seth “why does she want to know all this stuff about kohru?”. “I don’t know but I suppose it has to do with that monk who visited two years ago” said maru wait a minute she was asking how he looked and sizing him up. You don’t suppose she’s looking for a mate do you?”. “that could be why she’s been acting strange” siad seth. “Well if that’s the case we need to keep an eye on her” said maru. After their talk they walked back to shippo and their daughter.
After about twenty minuets kyrara and kohru came into view. Yuki was taken aback he was gorgeous. His eyes were a beautiful emerald green his tail was golden yellow with a little black at the tip most likely inheriting the color from his mother. He had bread shoulders and a great coplection. She wished she could say his smile was perfect but he wasn’t smiling in fact he seemed depressed. “Hello” said yuki as she ran up to him “you must be Kohru”. “yeah” he said dismally. He didn’t even look up as he said it. He walked off into the tree’s saying he would be right back.
“Why is he so depressed?” asked maru. “Well he’s been trying to get a mate for two years now and every girl has turned him down because he’s a half breed” said kyrara. “Oh” said maru. Yuki took this opertunity to walk after him. “I’ll be right back maybe I can cheer him up” said yuki. “that might be a good idea” said kyrara” yeah he’s not listening to us any way. Said shippo. Yuki smiled with glee and headed towards the brush of forest he walked to.
Kohru was sitting by a stream listening to the peace when he haerd somone comeing ‘oh great’ he thought ‘it’s probably my parents trying to cheer me up’. He got a big surprise when he saw the most beautiful girl walking towards him. He nearly fell backwards from her beauty. She was an angel he thought no girl that pretty would wiling ly come to him. He started to go into a deeper depression. But was shook out of it when he heard a familiar voice.
“Hi said yuki as she walked towards kohru. He had been staring at ever since he saw her. She took this as a good sign. He answered “h-hi. Who are you?”. “I’m maru and seth’s daughter yuki and you must be kohru” she siad. “Yeah” said kohru “so what brings you to my place of depression?”. “ well I kinda like you” aid yuki. “What! you like me” said kohru. No girl has ever siad that to me before. Are you pulling my chain?”.yuki answered by looking into his eyes “no I really mean it you are gorgeous”. He looked into her blue eyes and they just stared for a minute.
Yuki realized what she was doing and quickly removed her gaze blushing madly. “I’m sorry I....” she was interrupted when his hand cupped her chin and he lightly kissed her on the lips. She was shocked this was her first kiss. She closed her eyes and relished the feel of his lips to hers. He released her lips and blushed ten shades of pink. “I’m sorry” he siad “I shouldn’t have done that”.
“It’s alright” said yuki I enjoyed it”. Before he could react she pulled him back into her lips kissing him with a madness of passion. He kissed her back just as feverishly. She parted her mouth a little and welcomed his tung into her mouth. They both massaged each others tung for what seemed like years.
“What the heel do you two think you are doing?” screamed maru and seth at the same time. Both yuki and kohru pulled away immediately and sat there eyes wide. Shippo and kyrara had a look of utter disappointment on there faces. “We were....” yuki was cut off. “I think we need to cut this visit a little short shippo. I’m sorry” said seth. “I agree” answered shippo. Kohru go home and we shall talk to you later about this. Without saying a word kohru hung his head stood up and headed west through the forest with kyrara on his tail.
The whole way home maru seth and yuki argued about the proper time and place for intimate things. When they got home yuki locked her self in her room refusing to come out even for food. Her heart was broken and she just sat on her bed crying. Her parent’s tried everything to get her out but she wouldn’t even sesshoumaru couldn’t get her out. After trying he asked” what’s wrong why is she so sad?”. “we caught her doing improper things with shippo’s son”said maru “We argued the whole way home about the proper behavior of two people and thie proper time and place to show effection”“So basically you broke her heart” said sesshoumaru. “What?” siad seth puzzled. “Both her and him obviously had feelings for each other and you ripped them apart expecting them to see it your way” sesshoumaru siad but then stated” remember how you two felt when you first laid eyes on each other?”. Seth slumped to the ground “yeah we couldn’t get enough of each other”. “my god” said maru “we’ve be come thinthings we didn’t want to become, bad parents”. “You two might want to appologise to her” said sesshoumaru rin was too shocked to speak she had over heard the whole conversation in the den.
After talking to his parents they soon realized that their son had finally found a mate they didn’t stop him when he packed up his stuff and left. He walked for a cpouple days following her scent. He loved the smell of her it smelled like a spring breeze. He followed her scent to an in where he asked the in keeper wich direction she went. Her scent was braking up. But he still followed the faint traces of it.
