After getting Katherine to finally calm down, Jakotsu made his way downstairs where the excitement seemed to have settled down and took a seat at the bar. Glancing around at the costumers already back to normal, he decided that none of them mattered. If they were important or some how connected to the night's events, they would be stirred up; not obliviously back to normal.
Taking his eyes off of the room as the barkeep made a noise behind him and drew his attention, Jakotsu watched as the man began to pack what seemed to be supper for a few people. “Who's that for?” Jakotsu inquired as his curiosity got the better of him.
“It's for the sheriff's office. Or at least it will be just as soon as things slow down enough that I can bring it over there,” the barkeep explained, completely missing the light that went off in Jakotsu's mind as he grinned toward the unaware man.
“If you're that busy, I can take it for ya Sugar. My night's been a bit slow and I could always use the tips,” Jakotsu insisted giving the man his most sultry smile. Though it did not have the intended effect, since the barkeep knew of his true gender, he handed the food over anyways as he shrugged his massive shoulders.
“Don't matter to me one bit who brings it. Just don't go dawdling,” the barkeep warned before turning his back on his when he noticed he had a customer trying to catch his attention. Smiling conspiratorially to himself, Jakotsu slid off of the bar stool and began making his way out into the night as he headed toward the sheriff's office. As he walked, he started to plan possible ways he could come to his new companion's defense without getting them both killed.
His mind was still planning when he walked into the jail, quickly catching the attention of the only two men in there, and noticed the way the deputy seemed to be hungerly taking in every inch of him. Mentally whispering to himself that this would be easier than he thought, Jakotsu sauntered over to him with a shy, but sultry smile gracing his pale face. “Thought you might be hungry,” Jakotsu explained softly, not missing the way the man's eyes seemed to be glued to his plump lips.
Instead of answering, the deputy merely nodded his head before finally giving Jakotsu's whole face his attention. Setting the plate on the desk before him, after the deputy removed his feet, Jakotsu turned and went to give Bankotsu's his when the deputy suddenly slapped him on the ass. As he was still in character, the shy giggle that it brought out was automatic and it took Jakotsu a moment to realize he had been the one to make the noise. Quickly getting back in control, he glanced over his shoulder before commenting, “Such a bad boy you are, deputy.”
