Inuyasha stared at the mountain of pancakes with joy in his heart. Food, glorious wonderful food and it was nice and hot instead of cooling off so soon with the snowy weather.

The butter and the maple syrup were brought out by the cook as everyone was seated at the table.

Sesshoumaru nodded to Inuyasha to go ahead and eat watching his Otouto in amusement since Inuyasha seemed to practically drool onto his plate at the sight of so much good food.

There were also eggs cooked with ham in a rather large bowl to go with the pancakes as Inuyasha piled his plate with a large spoonful.

After he was done he passed the bowl to Kagome who took a little bit of the eggs and ham, but mainly stayed with the pancakes.

Sesshoumaru took some of the eggs and ham also and filled the rest of his plate with pancakes. It had been a long time since Sesshoumaru had eaten any cooked food considering anything cooked as human food, but this morning watching his Otouto enjoy himself Sesshoumaru wanted to see if he would enjoy this food as well.

Kagome realized that they did not have proper silverware other than the butter knife so they would have to dip the pancakes into the syrup to eat them properly. Of course Inuyasha didn’t mind getting his hands and clothes sticky, he just figured he would wash up later.

Inuyasha took a bite of his maple syrup smothered pancake.

“Kagome, these are so good. Thank you for making them.”

Kagome blushed a little.

“It was the cook who did most of the work Inuyasha, but thank you for the compliment. I know they aren’t as fluffy as my Haha’s but they are pretty good if I have to say so myself.”

Sesshoumaru watched as Kagome dipped her pancakes into the syrup to eat them and decided that was probably the best route to go since he didn’t want to spill syrup on his clothing. Inuyasha however was a sticky mess by the time he finished his batch of pancakes.

Licking his fingers off, Inuyasha waited for his Tsuma and Ani to finish.

“I think you may need to have your clothing cleaned Inuyasha.”

Sesshoumaru stated softly looking at the syrup drenched ensemble.

“Oh this?”

Inuyasha pointed to the fabric which had syrup dripping on it.

“It cleans itself, but it could use some help since this won’t fade for a while. Do you have anything I can wear until then that will fit me?”

Sesshoumaru thought about it for a moment.

“I have some black robes that may work since the tailor will be coming shortly. We don’t want him measuring you with your fire rat robes on anyway.”

Inuyasha nodded as everyone got up from the table.

Sesshoumaru walked with Inuyasha, Kagome who was now holding Fuyuki since Inuyasha was foolish in taking the pup down to battle with him while holding the tessaiga with one arm. Kagome would not have that again and when she found out about it she was just glad that it was only Miroku who had been the one trying to get through the barrier.

Once they reached the room that was Sesshoumaru’s, Sesshoumaru opened the wardrobe to pull out a long silky black robe with Chinese red dragons embroidered into the fabric.

“This was a gift from Chichi when he went to the mainland. Our boots also came from China. We have some of our demon relatives living in the mainland and although we do not speak to them often they send us gifts on occasion.”

Inuyasha undressed wearing only his fundoshi then took it off as well showing off his gorgeous firm ass to his Ani who licked his lips a bit before handing over the robe. Inuyasha without clothing was a fine specimen of a male and Sesshoumaru hoped that Inuyasha would give him an answer soon about being his mate. If Inuyasha refused than Sesshoumaru would have to take drastic measures since no one said no to the demon Lord.

The robe swamped Inuyasha making him look like a child playing dress up in his Ani’s clothes, but it did do the job of covering Inuyasha until his clothes were cleaned and the tailor came to fit him into that magnificent kimono and armor his Ani was giving to him.

Kagome smiled at her Otto (husband) who looked absolutely adorable with those silly ears of his twitching back and forth a bit as he looked in the large mirror at himself.

“Well I guess this will work for now as long as I don’t trip on all this fabric.”

Inuyasha stated as he pulled the tie closed.

Sesshoumaru pulled the long cord hanging from the ceiling that would ring a bell for the servants to come.

“If you need anything from the servants just pull this cord Inuyasha. I believe there is one in your room.”

Inuyasha nodded as he noticed some servant males coming and picking up his clothing. They did not need to ask if these things needed washing since it was obvious with the maple stains on the front of Inuyasha’s haori.

Sesshoumaru had Inuyasha and Kagome following him out as he let them know that he was going to the healer’s section of the castle.

When they arrived Sesshoumaru politely excused himself since he had to respond to one of those messages that came this morning today. It was an invitation to the mating ceremony of one of his many itokos (cousins) and Sesshoumaru did not have time to go to this event so he had to politely decline. He would send one of his messengers with a small gift for the couple.

Kagome went into the healer’s first.

The golden eyed golden haired demon was mesmerizing. He was almost as beautiful as Sesshoumaru with his waist long golden hair and large pure gold eyes with long thick dark lashes and eyebrows contrasting with the color of his hair much like the two Inu harakaras.

“My Lady, my name is Shiro and I am the castle’s only healer for now. I hear you are a miko and a powerful one at that. Perhaps I could learn some human ways of healing so that I can help you if something does occur.”

Kagome blushed.

“I am not as powerful as my predecessors, but I am not too bad with a bow and arrow. All the healing supplies I had were left at Sobo Kaede’s village. Still I would be more than happy to teach you the little bit I know.”

Shiro smiled at the woman.

Taking out a sage wand and with his powers he lit it on fire so that it smoldered properly and left a calming feeling about the room. Shiro circled over Kagome with it a few times and then pulled out one of his many crystals.

“Hold this crystal for me for a moment my Lady. It will look for any ailments you may have.”

Inuyasha watched this from the sidelines as he watched the crystal glow in her hand from clear to bright pink.

“It seems to me that all is well with you my Lady. You are indeed fertile right now so you should be extra cautious if you do not wish to be pregnant again so soon. I can give you some herbs that you will need to put into a tea so that you will not conceive until you are ready.”

Kagome took the leaves from the healer who then turned to look at Inuyasha.

Inuyasha didn’t like the smells of the burnt sage, but came forward none the less allowing the healer to do his job.

“I understand you wish to know if you are a bearer Lord Inuyasha.”

Inuyasha nodded and Shiro had Inuyasha open his robe to feel around his abdomen.

“It seems you have the capability to do so and the right body type. However let’s make certain of this before we go any further. I will also give you something to help with your heat since it will make you susceptible to unwanted advances from other male demons as well as take away the pains you may suffer from such a thing. It will not prevent you from conceiving though if that is your desire.”

Inuyasha remained silent while the healer pulled out three stones and with a spell they floated around Inuyasha’s abdomen glowing softly.

“It is indeed true that you are a bearer my Lord. I hope this was the information you were searching for. I will also give you the same herbs as I did your wife so that if you are not ready to conceive you can choose when you desire to do so.”

Inuyasha felt both relief and frustration since he really didn’t want to be fucked by his Ani to make a child from his own body, but part of him really wanted a child created from his own body. Inuyasha had already decided though that if he was a bearer he would allow Sesshoumaru to mate him. It was better than some other asshole doing so and Sesshoumaru promised that he would show him pleasure instead of pain. Part of Inuyasha wanted to believe Sesshoumaru, but another part, his human part, wanted nothing to do with his Ani who had tried to kill him so many times in the past.

Inuyasha retied his robe as the stones glided back into Shiro’s hand.

“Have you ever delivered babies from a male before Shiro?”

Inuyasha asked politely unsure if this was a good idea or not.

“I have done so with the wolf tribes, but not with an Inu demon yet. I figure since we are both from the canine family it shouldn’t be that different.”

Inuyasha nodded.

“So how does the baby come out of me? I don’t want it to come out of my ass.”

Shiro chuckled a bit at that analogy.

“Most of the time we had to cut the pup out of you, but some rare occurrences turn the male demon female for the actual birth and for feeding the child. However, you do not lose your male anatomy during this time. It doesn’t last long since the female anatomy other than the breasts disappear after the pup is born. Your breasts will disappear after the child has been weaned.”

Inuyasha’s eyes went wide at the thought of having his own boobs. Inuyasha loved boobs and it would be fun to have his own for a while.

Kagome listened to this and smiled. In some ways it would be nice if the two of them were pregnant together at some point since that would make Inuyasha understand her better.

“Ok then.”

Inuyasha stated and then Kagome brought Fuyuki over to Shiro who gently took the infant and looked at the child who was talking a bit to the healer with little whimpers and silent words. Shiro of course understood everything the pup was saying just as the fairies did.

“He is a very strong little boy. Little Lord Fuyuki will definitely take after his Chichi and his Haku (Uncle).
Even though he is a half demon, he also has his Haha’s miko abilities and would make a good priest if he were not already a Lord and Prince.’
“Lord Fuyuki will live a very long life, but is worried about his Haha since she is human. He doesn’t want his Haha to die and that is what has made him cry so often.’
“Have you not fully mated your Tsuma Lord Inuyasha?”

Inuyasha thought about it for a moment.

“No, we just got married and that is what humans do. I didn’t want to bite her to mark Kagome since I didn’t think she would want that.”

Kagome frowned a bit.

“What do you mean by having to bite me?”

Inuyasha looked at his Tsuma apologetically.

“Since you are human I didn’t think you would want me to use my Inu powers to change you. I love you just as you are just like you love me. If I bite you though and you drink some of my blood I can make you live longer. You won’t be fully human, but you won’t be a demon either. Do you want me to do that?”

Kagome thought about it for a minute. It would be good to live longer so that she didn’t die before their pup was old enough to be on his own since from learning about Inuyasha’s hanyou side she learned that hanyous live a very long time much like demons although a bit weaker than a demon.

“I wouldn’t mind if you wanted to mark me Inuyasha. I want to live longer so that Fuyuki will always have his Haha around. I am sure your Haha would have wanted the same thing for you.”

Shiro smiled.

“Lady Izayoi actually was marked by your Chichi Inuyasha. Problem was not from the marking, but because she was killed by a human and brought back to life with tensaiga. Your Chichi healed the mark he made on your Lady Haha. Your Chichi did not have the time to remark your Haha during his battle with the human Lord and died soon after in the flames of the castle.”

Inuyasha looked at Shiro not believing it.

“How did you know all of this?”

Shiro smiled.

“Lord Sesshoumaru told me this was true. No one expected your Haha to die so early in life. Lord Sesshoumaru had backtracked to fight alongside his Chichi after the argument that they had over the swords. When he found your Chichi pulling off all the broken fiery wood that covered him Lord Sesshoumaru was not able to use the tensaiga to heal him.’
“It broke your Ani’s heart to see your Chichi dying from the wounds inflicted by the dragon Ryukotsusei, but he was too stubborn as a young demon that his all powerful Chichi wanted to save a human woman and a hanyou Otouto. He was taught by his Haha that humans were meant to be nothing more than cattle to a demon and that his Chichi was foolish to fall in love with one of them.’
“It has taken years for Lord Sesshoumaru to accept that his Chichi still cared for him since you received the sword that was rightfully his, but did not know it would have been only a crutch to him if he relied on the tessaiga for gaining power and Sou'unga. It was indeed best that he received tensaiga since such a powerful weapon could be used in horrendous ways if wielded by the wrong person.’
“Your Ani often uses tensaiga to visit your Chichi’s grave. It also protects his life so that if he was ever in a battle to the death, your Ani cannot be killed and tessaiga makes it impossible to kill each other. Your swords including bakusaiga are to be used together for the maximum effect against a common enemy.”

Inuyasha took all of this in and felt kind of bad for Sesshoumaru for about a minute. Sesshoumaru still got the best end of the deal since he knew their Chichi in life and Inuyasha would never have that opportunity other than one time when seeing his spirit once Sou'unga was destroyed sending it back to the hell it belonged to. Plus Inuyasha believed the asshole took forever to return to help save their Chichi and he was too late because of his damn pride. Still, it was a long time ago and Sesshoumaru had changed quite a bit.

“Well, enough talk of the past ok? I pretty much know everything that happened since Mioga told me about Chichi and the battle. Totosai also explained many things to me that Mioga left out.’
“What I want to know is how long does it take for me to give birth to a pup and I want to take something before I let my Ani have his way with me since I don’t believe him when he says sex with another male is pleasurable. My ass is very concerned about its treatment.”

Shiro chuckled.

“The pregnancy will last for three months which is normal for dog demons unlike humans who must usually wait nine months before a child is born. I can give you some pain medication that will help, but your Ani is right about anal sex. Men do feel pleasure from it and if you give him a chance you might enjoy yourself.”

Inuyasha took the many herbs and the list to make sure that he mixed the right things in his tea before agreeing to anything Sesshoumaru wanted to do with him physically. Inuyasha decided though that he would agree to the verbal mating since the truth was, Inuyasha didn’t want to deal with his brother wining about having to go to a mating ball just so his Haha could pick out some random people for Sesshoumaru to have sex with in order to produce her a mago (grandchild).

It also made Inuyasha a bit jealous that Sesshoumaru would think about looking for an alternative female to bear young with when Kagome was right here. It shouldn’t have mattered that the child be of pure blood, but Inuyasha knew that was important to Sesshoumaru. Eventually though, Sesshoumaru would have to get over himself because there was no way in hell he was going to sleep without his Tsuma present. Kagome was his life and he refused to live without her at his side.

After recieving all of the herbs from Shiro, Inuyasha left the healers with his wife and child wondering what Sesshoumaru was doing and where the hell he was in this big maze of a castle.
